Had a great experience purchasing my new Golf. Michael Kim the Sales manager was excellent to deal with as well as Stefan the Sales Represenatative. I did not feel pressured to buy the vehicle at any moment in the sales process, since my decision to buy my car from this dealership was because of their approach. Professionalism and outstanding customer service is how I would summarize my experience and I would highly recommend buying your next vehicle from this dealership. Jeremy C More

Few months ago I got a letter from some company from Vancouver stating my credit card information needed update so I did over the phone! That's when I realized the extended warranty I have is not OEM it's aftermarket warranty! I'm upset because of misleading information saying it is from VW! It's only $100 monthly for 3 years and if not used it's refundable! More

Worst VW dealer for customer service From my experience this is the worst car dealer for customer service ever, especially the service manager Curtiss Power and the business manager Bobby From my experience this is the worst car dealer for customer service ever, especially the service manager Curtiss Power and the business manager Bobby Ali are the worst liars that you will ever meet. This dealer and his management staff will not honour any warranty work or provide you with any customer service unless it comes with an invoice. When I purchased my Jetta in 2010, they convinced me to purchase this electronic anti-rust device called (final coat) for an additional $600. Telling me how wonderful this product is, and also by purchasing this anti-rust device I would be protected against any rust or paint defects over and above the manufacturer’s warranty. After couple of years and only 80,000 K. some major rust spots appeared on the rear fender and the trunk of my car. I made many attempts to bring this issue to their attention, but no effort was made by them in resolving this issue, he (Curtiss the service manager) eventually told me that this rust issue was not covered under either warranty as it was not body perforation, and I would have to pay for the body work if I wanted to get it fixed. In the meantime I had consulted my body shop, where they told me that this was clearly rust perforation, therefore it would be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. I then contacted VW customer relations, and they suggested I should take take my car to another VW dealer. Where they actually honoured VW warranty and got the rust problem resolved. Conclusion stay away from this dealer, it’s a disgrace for VW and this company’s reputation. They should not be allowed to represent such a nice car manufacturer such as VW. More
For any type of service, better to go elsewhere. After a couple of days I was contacted with a quote of over $1,100.00 for repairs required to meet safety standards, which I agreed to. A couple of days after that, I was sent another quote stating that to eliminate the check engine warning light the car required a new cam shaft and timing chain - $4,500.00. Total so far $5,600.00 for a car that might be worth $5,000.00 at best, really. I declined those repairs. When I picked the car up, I was presented with a bill of $485.00 which included a charge of $125.00 for a safety inspection, which was not done due to the fact that, I was told, since I declined the major repairs, they hadn't done the minor ones for the safety either, but I was still being charged a flat fee for the inspection. They also charged me a $75.00 repair rejection fee for not going ahead with the cam and timing chain replacement. There was inspection charge of $95.00 for inspecting what wasn't inspected in the safety inspection and a charge for an oil change. When I commented on the invoice by saying, 'So, I'm paying $485.00 for an oil change, basically'. The shoulder shrug answer I received was, 'Yeah, I guess.' I was charged $85.00 for an oil change which, I found out later, also was not done. I realize that to anyone reading this review I sound like a total dufus for taking this crap and paying for it. I agree, I am a dufus. A dufus who realizes that whatever argument I would have given them at that time or even later (when I found out that not even the oil had been changed) would have been met by a teamwork of retaliatory excuses that I didn't care to listen to. Live and learn, I've always paid for my education in the past, I viewed this incident as merely another learning experience. Instead, I am voicing my dissatisfaction here and in any other public forum, as well as word of mouth of course, in the hope that I can warn other unsuspecting consumers to steer clear of these rip off artists. Side note: After this fiasco, I took the car to an HONEST independent garage which did the oil change and took care of the necessary repairs, certified it and Driveclean tested it all for $350.00. Turns out the check engine light was due to a faulty $72.00 sensor not a $4,500.00 cam shaft and timing belt (which, by the way, I had had replaced at around the 200,000 km mark for $1,500.00, '05 & '06 Jettas are notorious for that. A fact which I am certain the boys at Martin Grove were hoping to capitalize on. More
I left my 2004 Jetta with Curtis at Martingrove. I had bought this car used with lots of problems from a disreputable non-vw dealer and I am paying the price. When I approached the original dealer with th bought this car used with lots of problems from a disreputable non-vw dealer and I am paying the price. When I approached the original dealer with the issues I had, they told me flat out to go "pound salt" (I'm paraphrasing) as it wasn't their problem. I have visited several garages with various problems over the past 2 years with very little satisfaction until now. Curtis and his crew were very helpful, thorough and professional. They did c fantastic job and also brought other items to my attention that should be reviewed in the near future. I had also gone up to see the sales team thinking maybe sometime this year I would trade this car in and buy a new used one or perhaps a new car altogether. The Sales Manager Jim came out of his office to chat as his guys were busy with other customers. He then turned me over to Johhny and I will say this...when I'm ready to buy a new car, I will definitely see these guys! More
You're better off visiting a different VW dealer than this one. Found the service department mediocre at best. They aren't confident as to what's covered under warranty (3yr) vs what's not and end up t this one. Found the service department mediocre at best. They aren't confident as to what's covered under warranty (3yr) vs what's not and end up taking pictures and contacting head office for clarification. Dealth with a salesperson by the name of Eric there. More interested in selling tires which is his side business than selling me a car that would suity my lifestyle. Ended up selling me a car which I completely regret buying. Dont fall victim to this dealership like I did. Again, you're better off visiting a different VW dealer than this one. More
