It’s been over 16 months, and we finally have the RAV4 Limited Hybrid that we ordered. Actually, it isn’t the car we ordered, but apparently somebody else gave up their car and we had to take their car Limited Hybrid that we ordered. Anthony (Xiao) Liu originally told us that it would be a 4 month wait. It would have been closer to two if we took another car that somebody didn’t want, but we didn’t want to pay for the extended warrantee and rust proofing. Sensing a theme? You have to buy extras in order to have any reasonable timeline for delivery. Anthony stopped responding to my calls and texts soon after we declined the car with all of the extras. Going into the dealership did not help as he did not follow through with sending us the promised information after we went home. Escalating to the new car manager, George A, did not help much. We wanted to know how many people were ahead of us and how many cars they had taken delivery in the last few months. This would give us some estimation of when we could expect delivery. They would not provide this information, but did offer to return our down payment after waiting for a year or so. When we picked up the car, Anthony asked for a “10” for the customer survey of new car buyers. When we expressed our displeasure with the communication, George A said that they would make it right. We haven’t heard from them. The Review link was interesting. A negative review leads to a page that asks us to fill out a form telling us about the experience. Unfortunately, there is no form. Was interested in buying a new Toyota. Walked into the dealership NO One greeted us or was willing to acknowledge that we had come in. There were sales staff around but on their phones and did not come to us. We approached the used car sales person to try and get some help. He went to get a new sales person and we waited 10 minutes and finally left. Thanks for making the decision for me to NOT buy a Toyota. This is the second Toyota dealership to display this kind of rudeness. There are many other reliable car makers on the market to buy from. Can not complete the rating as no one talked to us about a car. More
