Markville Toyota

I always have oil change here for the last 3 years. I was happy for their customer service except for today. Today was not a pleasant one. No greetings, no smiling, no asking me whether or not I would like a car wash (as the previous reps always asked). I hope the "weather" will be better for my next service. More

I feel this dealer is timing of when it recommends service. The last time I was in there were a number of expense suggestions that did not hold up well to challenges of why they needed to be done then service. I have some concerns about how Markville Toyota is conducting business. I recently decided to buy out my leased vehicle. I was told to bring the vehicle to Markville Toyota for a Safety Certificat conducting business. I recently decided to buy out my leased vehicle. I was told to bring the vehicle to Markville Toyota for a Safety Certification. On May 13, 2013 I brought my vehicle to Markville as instructed. I was told that the safety inspection revealed that I needed rear brakes and windshield wipers. I decided to take the vehicle to an independent garage to verify this. They inspected the vehicle and concluded that it could pass the safety inspection. I paid them to provide the certificate. Markville Toyota refused to sell me the vehicle because the Safety Certificate did not come from them. The Safety Certificate I provided to them is a legal document and as such, there should be no issue in processing the sale of the vehicle. I spoke to the President of the dealership, Mr. Henry Hoang and was advised that this is their policy and that I could go to another Toyota dealership to facilitate the sale. Mr. Hoang has about as much customer service skills as the KGB! I had Toyota Financial transfer the necessary paper work to Maple Toyota. They processed the sale with the exact same documentation that was presented to Markville Toyota. BEWARE... This dealership is highly trained in the art of UP SELLING !!! More
