Absolutely blown away! I had been looking into a few different vehicles from other lots and I thought my decision would come down to cost and finding something practical. The moment my mind was made up about purchasing from Mainland Ford ended up having little to do with the vehicle I chose and had everything to do with how comfortable they made me. I went in alone to purchase my first vehicle and was greeted at the door by Karan. I told him that I was really just coming in to better understand the process and that the whole thing made me very nervous. Of course he asked me all of the logistical questions about the vehicle I might want, but what really stood out is that he asked if I might want my mom or a friend to come down at any point with me just to give me an extra unbiased opinion and also peace of mind. When my mom joined me there, Karan walked out to her in the pouring rain and caught her up to speed on my options and she just loved that. Moms love being included. I had a vehicle in mind that fit my budget and I was incredibly excited about it but I let them know I'd need to sleep on it and come back with questions I may not have thought to ask on my first visit. If you've ever visited Mainland Ford, you'll know they offer complimentary coffee and other hot beverages, but what I didn't know is that if that machine is down, they will take your drink order and promptly return with what you've requested. I've had to wait longer in a restaurant for a drink than I had to wait for them to return. I was completely amazed to say the least. The day we came back to finalize my purchase, which can be a lengthy process, every single step involved was thoroughly explained and re explained as needed. I left with the feeling of certainty and confidence that I had made the right decision. After leaving the lot I stopped at the grocery store and told almost everyone within 5ft of me that I just got my very first vehicle and they just need to go down to Mainland Ford. That might have been annoying for some, but you just can't contain this kind of excitement! More

Took several visits and many hours of time wasted just to find the price of a truck - and had to jump through several hoops just to get pricing. One salesman picks the vehicle for you (no walking on the lot to look!!), then hands you over to another one to get the price. First we were made to "sign here to show you're serious", otherwise they wouldn't give price out! The pricing they came back with was way outside of the budget we had told them (not listening) and was also way more than the advertised sale on the vehicle, so we had to explain for a fourth time what we wanted. They went back to the finance person, and came back with a "super special offer" that was still more than the advertised sale price. We walked away and received 3 phone calls trying to pull us back in, with a third price that was still more than the advertised sale price. Conversely, at another dealership with the same truck, the salesman simply gave us the advertised sales price (and payment details) after 5 minutes. More

Well taken care of We bought a used truck a few weeks ago and during a recent cold snap, the e-brake wouldn't release. We had not purchased an extended warranty but we We bought a used truck a few weeks ago and during a recent cold snap, the e-brake wouldn't release. We had not purchased an extended warranty but we phoned the dealership and talked to Jessica who promptly informed the managers about the situation. Within minutes, she arranged a tow truck to come and pick up the truck. We were kept up to date by Tony in the shop about the problem and it was fixed the very next day. This dealership has been very good to us and we would recommend them highly! More

Jack was very helpful in finding the truck that had everything I was looking for. Between Jack, Nigel and James we were able to work out a fantastic deal. Everyone at Mainland was friendly, helpful and made the experience very easy going. I would recommended Mainland to anyone looking for a fair and enjoyable buying experience. Made it right! We went to mainland Ford to look at purchasing a used truck. We had researched 1/2 tonne pick ups and realized that the F150 had the most room for us We went to mainland Ford to look at purchasing a used truck. We had researched 1/2 tonne pick ups and realized that the F150 had the most room for us as a young family with two young boys. We were met by Jessica, new to Mainland Ford and found her to be friendly and helpful. While they had no trucks currently that were with low km's and in the 2007-2008 range, she committed to trying to find one that would meet our needs. As luck would have it, and discussing it with her fellow employees, there was a truck that may be coming up for sale in the near future. However, the truck was said to be a 2005, but did have the low kilometres given the age. We expressed interest if the seller decided he was trading it in. Jessica kept in communication and let us know that the truck was indeed coming available and brought it in. It was in good shape as we expected and with some negotiation with Bob, the new owner of the dealership, about a hitch we wanted replaced, we agreed to purchase it. A few days later, we confirmed the price and came prepared to sign the papers and purchase the truck. However, during the insuring of our new truck, the ICBC agent confirmed we were insuring a 2004 F150 truck. We of course said that there was a mistake, our truck was a 2005. A look at the documentation again made it clear that the truck was a year older then we were made aware of. We quickly sought out Jessica about the issue and expressed our disappointment in not being made aware of the mistake. She was most apologetic and believed we had been made aware of the mistake. We confirmed we hadn't. She stated she would talk to Bob first thing in the morning to figure out how to rectify the situation. We left feeling really upset about what had transpired. As promised, early in the morning, Bob phoned right away apologizing profusely for the error made by the dealership. He immeaditely offered to take the vehicle and give us back our cheque. He had talked to all parties involved about miscommunications that led to the purchase of the truck. Ultimately, we recognized that an honest mistake had been made and that the dealership was taking full responsibility. The truck was still a great truck for the price. We were offered additional compensation and they bought the tonneau cover on it that we didn't need for probably more then we could sell used. All in all, we were treated very well and would recommend this dealership to our friends and family. More
