Extra Helpful and knowledgeable I was really happy with the service. They did a visual inspection on my Car and found that the serpentine belt was ripped and needed to be changed ASA I was really happy with the service. They did a visual inspection on my Car and found that the serpentine belt was ripped and needed to be changed ASAP, decided to leave the car overnight and therefore they provided me with a vehicle while my car was in service. Besides I had a chance to talk to one of the sales specialists, Graham was of great help explaining the advantages of having a brand new car and offering me multiple options if I decided to get into a brand new car. Hopefully after I'm done with University I go back to pick up a Ford Focus RS. Shelby was knowledgeable about the why it is important to fix certain things in the car and the reason why they get broken. The one thing I did not like about Maclin, is that when I was calling them at first to set up an appointment to get new winter tires, always when they transfered my call, nobody picked up and had to call again straight to the different department I had to deal with, and had to call multiple times to wonder about my car, because somebody picked up, transfered the phone, and voicemail on the other end. More

The service dept went above expected work by giving me a tire rotation as well. This may be standard with an oil change but I didn't expect it and I didn't ask for it. Great work. She just called me to make sure everything is ok and to remind me to come in after 100 km to tighten wheel lugs. She's great. I hope to work with her at Maclin in the future. More

I had taken my Escape in for service, including oil change, on a Saturday (booked apt) and asked them to look at an issue I was having with the rear h I had taken my Escape in for service, including oil change, on a Saturday (booked apt) and asked them to look at an issue I was having with the rear hatch wiper/washer. The service advisor said they would look at it and advise me of the problem. When I picked up my vehicle they said that they were not able to recreate the problem. I showed him right there what the issue was and I was told that I would have to bring it back as they had no one to diagnose it and fix it. I suspect that they did not even bother to look at it in the first place because if they had I would have seen evidence of washer fluid on the window. If they had no one that could diagnose the problem then, why did they say they would look at it? I was told by the service advisor that they only do oil changes on Saturdays and that I would have to come back during the week as they had to get other work done before they closed. It would have been nice if they would have been upfront with that from the beginning. It seems that they did not care to resolve the issue. The service advisor said that I should have my spark plugs changed out. I explained that this was done by them at the required service interval. I advised him that should be in their records as the work was completed by them. He did not seem to bother to look back at my service record. I was also not provided a service report card for work done on this visit. Just pay this amount and sign off on it. I was VERY disappointed in the level of service (lack of) that was provided by the service advisor. I have been taking my vehicle here for years and was left with a bad experience. I guess the lesson is only take your vehicle in on a Saturday if all you need is an oil change. DON'T expect anything else above that. I will add that the Customer Service manager did reach out to me after the fact and was able to provide an apology for the level of service I did receive. She did listen to my concerns and I hope they use this opportunity to provide some needed coaching for their service advisors. More
Service Advisor is Outstanding! I was dealing with Floyd King in the service drive-through, he did an excellent job all around! From my initial contact with him until I came to pick I was dealing with Floyd King in the service drive-through, he did an excellent job all around! From my initial contact with him until I came to pick up my vehicle it was a flawless experience. I thought a routine maintenance service wouldn't get all that much attention however Floyd made me feel very valuable as if I was spending a lot of money there! Although I did not get my recall completed, Floyd made sure to explain how and why I will need to come back which makes things a lot less complicated. Great job Maclin Ford! More

Happy with the service but I still feel bad. I was happy with the service that Floyd provided me. He provide me a free service vehicle when my car needed to stay overnight for cleaning. And everything was covered by my extended warranty except for the inspection fee. The only thing that surprise me is when I submitted my car for ELVIS inspection (I applied for UBER driver and ELVIS inspection of the car is one requirement), it didn't pass. Although with my previous visit with Maclin Ford I received a complete report something like 'Vehicle Care Commitment' and says it's about 'Peace of Mind' and conducting 'a world class visual inspection'. No defects was found. Well, not really. It needs a third party to know. I feel bad because I didn't know I have to pay extra $99 just to know my car was not in good condition. A 'world class visual inspection' is not enough. I hope you guys will let me know when I have to pay again another $99 for general inspection so I can have a real 'Peace of Mind' while driving my car. I understand as it gets older, it needs to be inspected thoroughly. Other than that, I was happy with the service you provided. More

Miranda and I spoke further about a free assessment of our vehicles' current value as a preliminary step to considering the purchase of a newer vehicle. Our current vehicle is almost 5 years old and I was willing to engage in the conversation, no pressure from Miranda, rather an invitation to start with an assessment and consider updating our vehicle. I have enjoyed each conversation as Miranda is very professional, listens, explores needs, current and anticipated and encourages conversation with a salesperson to explore options further. Jim Smith the service manager, responded to my concerns and took the time to hear what I had to say. We discussed the issues that had come up and while I had entered that call with the intention to not return to Maclin, after talking with Jim he brought me back into the fold. His genuine concern with what was going on made me feel like a valued customer and he also followed through on our discussions. He addressed what I brought to him with compassion and professionalism. I did not, at any point, feel like he was trying to appease me and feed me a line. My issues were resolved and I am very happy with how things have turned out. At the service counter, both Shelby (great name for a Ford girl) and Jean were friendly and helpful. I am all about the relationship as well as the service and Jim and his team have shown me they also believe in the same values. Thank you Maclin! More
just want your money so i bring my van in for a front end wheel alignment. the dealer guy is your typical salesman and tries selling me every service under the sun. fine i so i bring my van in for a front end wheel alignment. the dealer guy is your typical salesman and tries selling me every service under the sun. fine ill listen to your spiel. No thanks i say. ok no problem. then i get a call saying they need an extra hour to unseize my tie rods. in the report it says they need to spray and wait for penetrant. spraying penetrant takes an hour? they also advised me that every fluid in the van needed changing and servicing. however i had just taken the van into my mechanic and had all fluids flushes and new filters put on. so how do i need new fluids? the guy says its on a timeframe service recommendation. So they didn't even look at fluids imo as they would have seen that all the fluids were brand new. i got my wheel alignment(only ford can do my van) and got outta there. I will highly NOT recommend this snake oil dealership to anyone. How can they make this right? Don't sell me crap i dont need in the first place! I dont give second chances! More
