He gave me his time and attention to review my concerns and make everything run smoothly again. He was courteous and the Finance team at Maclin is one of the smoothest sailing ships - Stephen and Candace were amazing and so efficient. Thank you to Mark as well for his knowledge and attentiveness during the pre-sales process and post sales follow up. He went above and beyond to ensure quality and a smoother round 2 for me. A Good Experience I was apprehensive about going to a large dealership for the first time, but I thought Maclin has been in business for a hundred years so they must be I was apprehensive about going to a large dealership for the first time, but I thought Maclin has been in business for a hundred years so they must be doing something right. And, I was correct...the salesman, Graham Mitran, was professional, and spent about 2 hours making sure I knew many of the details of my (now) 2014 Escape. And, Austin helped in the process.....Thanks....your car has a happy home and owner in Canmore!! More

poor service Purchased my escape in Oct,2015 Service was exceptional for the first few times. It has deteriorated in the last year since their major staff turnover Purchased my escape in Oct,2015 Service was exceptional for the first few times. It has deteriorated in the last year since their major staff turnover. Yesterday I took my vehicle in for a problem with the AC. It is an intermittent problem. Because it is intermittent problem they would charge a $500 diagnostic fee, if they did not find the problem. The service rep checked the controls in the vehicle, everything fine and working properly. The service rep advised me to pick up the car as their technician would probably do the same. Therefor to save myself the $500. This I did. Afterwards I found on a ford tech site, what the problem was and how to fix it. I called back to Maclin advising them of this. The service rep was adamant that he must follow "protocol" and therefore the diagnostic fee would stand. He would not even consider looking at the info I found ! Today I took the vehicle to another Ford dealership. They looked at the info and immediately checked their info on the ford tech website. They will be repairing it !! Service Rep was extremely helpful and friendly. They checked to see if they had the parts necessary (which they do) I have the extended service plan and an extended warranty. Purchased thru Maclin. Which is another issue. Twice I've had to prove that I had the extended warranty and/or the extended service package. Not a big problem, but why should I have to prove this as it was purchased at Maclin. You would think that the service dept. would have this info as it was bought there. The diagnostic fee at the other dealership is $149 (which they waived) Maclin ford has lost a loyal customer! I will never darken their doorstep again! But then again they probably don't care. More
