In August I realized a service light for my 2015 Mini came on. It gave a brief description in the vehicle stating “rear brakes need to be replaced”. I booked a Service date for August 16th at 8:30am at MINI Vaughan west 55 Auto Park Circle which is also Owned by BMW also located at 55 auto park circle. I went in and spoke to the gentleman behind the desk by the name of (we will refer to him as AF). Who pulled up my vehicle information and informed me my vehicle needed a rear break change, which should take roughly about one hour or so. He quoted me about $500 which I obliged. After waiting around for an hour or so I was presented my keys for my vehicle. I was told the rear brakes had been replaced BUT a rear caliber is leaking (covered under warranty) he suggested I come in tomorrow to get it replaced but not to worry. I agreed. When I was handed the bill ($600) later, I went over it with AF to briefly see what was done on the vehicle. Again I asked “so the rear brakes are changed” to which he stated with open arms BRAND NEW*. After paying the bill for the TIME and LABOUR and PARTS. That were put into the vehicle. I made my way to my car. After starting my vehicle I noticed the service light was still on and indicating I needed a break change. To which I found odd, I went back inside to talk to AF I told him the service light is still on in the vehicle and asked how come. To which he said, one seconded. And went to the back (to talk to the mechanic) and came back. He stated to me. “your service light is still on due to the caliber that needs to be replaced tomorrow’. AGAIN I asked. But the breaks were changed. To which he said I quote “ brand new”. I had a gut feeling something wasn’t right. I went to my vehicle to check for myself to see if it had been changed. I got down put my hands in the wheel and then went to the other side and had a look, To which it didn’t look like it to me. For a second opinion unsure of what the dealership would say, I drove home and asked my father if he could have a look at my rear brakes and give me his opinion. He told me to drive right back because they are rusted and grooved in and couldn’t have been changed. I drove back with the receipt in hand for the break job I paid for and asked, AF again (4 times now). My breaks are new correct. To which he stated they were. Then I told him with my own hands covered in dirt from looking myself. That they are rusted and worn. And have not been. And demanded answers. He said ‘well hold on’ and made his way with me to my vehicle to have a look after having a look at them himself. He turned to me and said you are right. Your Rotors have not been changed. To which I replied “do I now have to take my tires off too, to make sure the rest was changed. He stated to me no and that they must have not been changed. Then I asked why did I pay for a break job that was never done. To which AF stated to me. They were going to (do it all tomorrow) when they change the caliber. Which I replied why did you have me sitting here for an hour waiting for my vehicle if nothing was done, why did I pay for a break job for LABOR and parts and TIME if nothing was completed. To which he didn’t have a reply. I demanded my money back, I felt betrayed and foolish and taken advantage of. After giving me my reimbursement. I left and called BMW Canada and wanted to speak with someone in person about this experience I had. To which I was only allowed to file a complaint so I did. I told my story, of what happened… of how I felt. Please check the work.. if you can watch them do it I highly suggest it. I recommend another dealership honestly this is scary!! this happens.. attached to this review is the bill I paid in ADVANCE apparently. And no apology or proper communication to the customer. Don’t let their comments back on the bad reviews fool you... I’m sure they are not resolved. and this was my FIRST TIME there being serviced (also bought) the car there. However, 3 month after we still didn't get response from anyone no matter how hard we pushed and complained. Worst customer sale experience ever!! More

I have known Chris for a few years now and his service is exceptional. You can really tell that Chris is there to help you and put you in the vehicle that is best for you. It is very refreshing. More

Traded in my Mini, will miss the car but not this 'service' Hard to make appointments at times, lack of quality care I'm accustomed to with Honda, very expensive car to fix! As another reviewer pointed out, lots is smiles and slick talk but the bill needs to be carefully checked, no deals to be had here, even when they say they will try to 'help you out a little'. I never felt confident that what I was hearing was honest and truthful, or just words to get me to pay and go away. For example, when the check engine light was displaying, even after I brought it in, and I was to,d not to worry about it. What's it there for then, I wonder, if not to alert me of an issue? No courtesy car ever provided so I had to drag a friend along every time to get a ride home. I can say I never looked forward to my visits and started taking elsewhere for winter tire changes... Better quicker and cheaper at Honda. So now, sad to have traded in the Mini, hoping Jeep offers better service - will miss the car but not this service Dept at Mini Vaughan West. More

Business manager impossible to get a hold of I've leased my Mini CooperS from Vaughan West in December 2015. Only had one service done so far. No complains there. However, their sales business manager seems to be impossible to get a hold of. I have a very simple request, which can be fulfilled in under 3 minutes, but she does not respond to either her emails nor voicemails. I have been trying to get a hold of her for the past 2 weeks with no luck. Business office was pretty insistent in selling you stuff, but not so much on anything you need. Just because every sale ends up in the Business office, I wont go back there for the next Mini, which is just a pity as Nick was a wonderful salesperson, just a pleasure to deal with. Also, this definitely affects the lower than deserved overall rating for the dealership, which is unfair due to one's person unprofessional attitude. More

I came to this branch on 14th Nov 2016 to looking for a MINI-cooper S which has Loaded Package and Essentia I Had such a terrible experience here ! I came to this branch on 14th Nov 2016 to looking for a MINI-cooper S which has Loaded Package and Essentials Package , and first of all I mentioned that I want the car is ready to be pick up , cause I can't wait . they were always saying "ok , yes , no problem ...." for anything u required ! And then after a quick search they told me there is a car in Richmond hill that matching all my requires , and they promised I can get it just in one week cause the car just right there , then they asked me to put 1000$ deposit . After 5days , I contact them to make sure the date for pick up . Then they told me the car has been taken ! why there s no one called and let me know until I call . What is the deposit for ? I really have no idea what they were doing ! And then they starting recommend a lot of other cars with different packages , but I don't want it , cause that is not the car with the right packages that I was required . I said Okies , if there s no other car with the Loaded and Essential Package , then just cancel and return the deposit . They told me will go to do the cancellation and return the deposit to me . Then there is an other trick they start playing ! From that day , whenever I call them ,no one is answering , whatever how many voice messages I left , no one call me back , I drive all the way there , then The Unbelievable reason they told me is they were so busy on work ,that s why can't call me back . Seems like I'm not the one in them's works anymore ! Then they let me wait there more than an hour cause they said they are still busying ! At last they took a piece of copy of my credit card for returning the deposit use then let me leave and wait at home . Honestly , am a loyal customer of BMW , I been visit many BMW and MINI branches , i have been met lots of car agents in many different branches, THIS IS THE WORST I've never experienced before ! I wait until today , after an other hundred times call , after uncountable voice messages left , I still can't hear nothing from them . Actually I been told by some friends long time ago , they told me this Branch is terrible and ridiculous . Now I am truly regret that was not listening . This is my real experience in this branch , just happened and not ending yet . Cause I won't stop until get my rights and respects , and I don't mind reporting to the Omvic or find Media for help , and I don't mind showing the message conversations history between the sales and me . Slow on service , big on promises , high on price They can do an oil change in an hour. But the guys at the service desk will take another hour to get you your bill and keys. They smile a lot and talk a good game but watch you bill. They are higher prices then most. I brought my mini in for a new clutch. They promised. It in 2 days, it took 9. Then they offered me 10% off to help pay for the cat they rented for me. Somehow , I just don't think they get it. More

Coolant leaking, maybe thermostat needs to be replaced, and spark plugs needs to be replaced. Ok, fair enough, wear and tear on the car means things need to be fixed. March 15, 3:15pm: I got my key back and was about to leave. Went outside to see to driver window open and didn't think much of it until I tried to make it go back up. Didn't work. March 15, 3:15pm: I went back inside (thank you, John, for being the only good thing to happen to this dealership!) and had the key assessed again, the car was brought back in. SURPRISE! Service has no idea why the windows malfunctioned. I said as long as the window was up I'd take my car elsewhere. March 15, 4:00pm: Got in the car AGAIN, tried to signal to leave the lot....signalling system isn't working. No signals, no hazards, equals car deemed unsafe to drive. Key was assessed for the third time in 2 hours! March 15, 4:30pm: It had to be left, without much customer choice because of potential safety risks. Cost breakdown: Coolant/thermostat - $1750 Windows - $2500 Signalling system - guessing the remainder of what I have I my bank account. It's easy to guess that my car was tampered with. NEITHER THE WINDOWS NOR THE SIGNALS WERE CAUSE FOR CONCERN IN THE INITIAL DIAGNOSTIC and then magically appeared after being in the possession of the service centre. As these 2 malfunctions (windows and signals) happened on mini property and in the hands of their service technicians, it can be easily concluded that the fault also lies in their hands and responsibility on the dealship's part should be taken. I would NEVER recommend this brand of car or this dealership. More
