Of course we plowed through websites, solicited opinions and narrowed down our choices. We checked out a few cars prior to the Saturday morning we visited Lexus of Royal Oak. Talat Hussain was fantastic right from the start, being professional, genuine and knowledgeable. He was both encouraging and enthusiastic as we test drove several vehicles (a couple of them more than once). The right car for us was the first Lexus we tested, and we negotiated a great price. This was all in just a few hours on that Saturday; straightforward, uncomplicated and no pressure. A few days later, we’re driving a new NX200T, a 2015 demo model. Since our purchase, Talat has regularly touched based to make sure our Lexus experience continues to be perfect. On one such call, I mentioned a small chip in the windshield and what appeared to be a really small crack right at the base of the windshield. I wanted to get service involved before either worsened. Within minutes, the Service department contacted me to say they would REPLACE the windscreen at their expense! A few weeks later, I dropped the car off in the morning, was shuttled directly and comfortably to my office downtown and then returned the same way later in the day. A spotlessly clean car with a new windshield awaited me. This is our first Lexus experience, and the staff at Royal Oak provided a streamlined and stress-free car buying experience which is supported by exceptional service and support staff. Best Experience I walked into the dealership and was greeted kindly by the receptionist who actually walked around her test and greeted me face to face. Cary my salesman was very knowledgeable, he told me about features that i wouldn't even have thought about asking. We went on 2 test drives comparing the RC and IS models, when we came back from the test drive i was still very unsure which one i wanted to go with. He offered me a 3rd test drive to make sure i choose the car i really wanted. He never pushed me into what he thought was best for me but listened carefully to what i wanted wanted and needed. Farid Shivji was great too, he got me a great deal on the car and on my trade in, I didn't get to work with Farid for long but he seemed very kind and understanding. Alex Richardson came up to greet me and to thank me for coming into Lexus, He explained a lot of the features within the facility. Never once did he try to ask what car i was buying and try to push me into it, instead he made sure i was well taken care of. Alex's father Todd came up and joined our conversation. Todd made sure all my questions were answered and even told me about their reward program and got Cary to explain it in more detail with me. Natasha Richardson she came up and greeted me as i was playing with what i thought was a customers dog. Later i found out it was her dog she told me one thing that really caught my intention, bringing a dog into a workplace can relieve the stress of some people. When i heard her say that i already knew she cared about her staff. Natasha did not judge me as i am a younger guy at a luxury dealership, she made sure i was well taken care of. Natasha even took it a step further by giving me a tour herself around the facility. Donna helped me with finance and she was super great, i felt very comfortable with her and could see she was very motherly. I would recommend her if you ever buy a car from Lexus. I did not expect to buy a car today because i wanted to check other vehicles first, but after i met Natasha i decided that i don't want to go to other dealerships because of the way she treated me, she was the main selling point to me purchasing my vehicle from them.
