One dealership said I would need to leave a down payment and get approved for financing before I could test drive the vehicle. Another dealership would not let me take a vehicle to my mechanic for inspection. Lexus was my choice for my next vehicle for years, and after having challenges in purchasing a pre-owned one I was about to lease another Toyota. An experienced person suggested a visit to Lexus On The Park, to see Chris Lebetjis. Just like the other purchaser's previous experience, Chris took the time to deal with all of the necessary steps to purchasing a pre-owned vehicle (more detailed compared to a new vehicle). His experience in dealing with customers and the process allows all concerns to be addressed in order to transact a purchase, and makes doing business easy. We actually needed to visit the dealership a few times to get things done, and he was always there to meet with us, exactly on schedule. He even came in on his day off to accommodate our convenience (completely over and above expectations). The staff at Lexus On The Park really give you the premium dealer experience. The way I was treated made me feel like I was buying a brand new Lexus LX (highest priced vehicle in the lineup). After a seemingly endless search for a quality Lexus GX (less common vehicle, with most specimens having high mileage), I happened upon a classified ad placed by Chris Lebetjis of Lexus on The Park (excellent initiative taken by Chris). Having a father who previously managed a car dealership, and having a background in sales myself with a current role in purchasing prepared me for dealing with many salespeople in various industries over the years. The experience with Chris at Lexus on the Park was quite unique. His level of service exceeded all expectations prior to and after the sale. After only 10 minutes of dealing with Chris and being at Lexus on the Park, I made a decision to do business with them (and of course kept it to myself to help with negotiation). It then became a process of ensuring the vehicle was what I was expecting, or having Chris help me to find another vehicle. Chris patiently and meticulously handled all details, and answered all inquiries, making the "sale" part assumed by earning the sale as opposed to pushing the sale. I've already recommended Chris and Lexus on the Park to others. One in particular had tried, unsuccessfully to do business with several dealerships, due to pushy salespeople who wanted to process the sale and worry about important details later. After meeting Chris for a few minutes, she was already working out the details on inspecting and purchasing a Lexus RX (review to follow). Her only regret was not visiting Chris at Lexus on the Park in the first place. Sometimes having other experiences makes you appreciate better ones even more.
