Disappointing Bought a 2015 Jeep with less than 15,000 kilometers. When I went to pick it up, it was delivered with 6 year old tires with 4/32 of tread left. Sales Bought a 2015 Jeep with less than 15,000 kilometers. When I went to pick it up, it was delivered with 6 year old tires with 4/32 of tread left. Sales manager Ali was no help at all. Syed was the only helpful one. For a dealership like that, they should be embarrassed. More

Service Department Lies I had an issue with the radio/audio of a 2014 vehicle. It was not producing any sound. The unit was functional for everything else but the sound. I had an issue with the radio/audio of a 2014 vehicle. It was not producing any sound. The unit was functional for everything else but the sound. Took it in thinking it was under warranty (and that is how the service team presented it to me when I got there). Once they completed their "review" I was told that it was NOT under warranty and that I owed them $60 for labour to look at the issue. They claimed the radio was defective and would be $7,000 for a new one. I paid the $60 and left and hit the reset button a little later and the device started working again. I called back and asked about that since they determined that it was defective and was told that it is normal for it to work for a few hours, days, and weeks after a reset and that it still needed to be replaced. I asked what was done during their inspection he lied and said he reset the device and that they unplugged it from the car. It is amazes me that within 15 minutes, they can have the radio reset, removed from the car and put back in AND all the settings manually restored. DO NOT take your vehicle there for any reason unless you want to be lied to and ripped off! More
Service department is terrible What can I say, they suck went in they took pictures and notes for the body repair i needed. 2 month later and many lies told they still have not retu What can I say, they suck went in they took pictures and notes for the body repair i needed. 2 month later and many lies told they still have not return my calls. They did not even try to contact the rust proofing company for this repair. just kept on lying. There is a lack of proud customer service it does not exist but I must say they did get a better phone system. whop-dido. They need customer service training as honestly goes a long way. If you are short staffed hire people. More
Disappointing Very interested in the 2015 Soul - was given a price over the phone and within less than 24hrs was in the dealership to purchase, They wouldn't honor Very interested in the 2015 Soul - was given a price over the phone and within less than 24hrs was in the dealership to purchase, They wouldn't honor the quote over the phone - even though Lisa (Sales associate) had the same quote written down on my customer client sheet - so it wasn't me just making up some random numbers. Lisa indicated that it was a different Manager that gave the quote and the Manager that was on site today couldn't figure out how it was calculated so wouldn't honor it. Very unprofessional - I wasn't able to negotiate with the Manager, he wouldn't come out to discuss. Every time I had questions about the prices, Lisa had to go the Manager to get info and I was left cooling my heals - 45min of going back and forth with the invisible Manager before I was told that the deal promised to me wasn't going to happen but I was welcome to take the new higher price - 10% higher. Glad to get out of there, disappointing experience. This isn't my first car purchase but I got a feeling that they thought it was....... More
Terrible Customer Service and Belligerant Sales Manager Kia , I found Sales Manager to be very frusterating and difficult to deal with during the vehicle purchase process. I am old and have bought many vehi Kia , I found Sales Manager to be very frusterating and difficult to deal with during the vehicle purchase process. I am old and have bought many vehicles in my life and have never experienced such shoddy customer service as I have at Leggat Kia. Sales Manager was very belligerant towards me his continually yelling at me, shouting me down over the phone. Further this dealership took alomst 2 weeks to tell me whether or not they would be able to successfully do a dealer trade so that I could get the vehicle in the colour that I wanted. When I called Ali and asked him about the protracted period of time he was taking to complete what I felt should have been a very simple transaction or to provide me with a simple yes or no answer as to the available vehicle coulours, he became very belligerant toward me and kept yelling at me and shouting at me throughout our phone call. The dealership in no way made the vehicle purchase experience simple or positive for me. Anyway, I was so frusterated at their terrible customer service and the fact that they STILL could not confirm my vehicle or color availability or whether or not they could successfully obtain the vehicle through a dealer trade, I opted to have my deposit returned to me as I had made sure was explicitly provided for in the contract. After that terrible experience with this dealership and glad to be moving forward from it, after further research, I decided to purchase a different vehicle from a different (Japanese) manufacturer a brand new comparable competator's model at same price and content point compared to that for which I was considering at Kia at that time. In hindsight I am very glad for having decided to not do business Leggat Kia. Not worth the drama, hassle and crummy customer service. My current car purchase from a different (non-Kia) automaker was a very simple and positive experience, it took less than 90 minutes in total including all paperwork, negotiations and test drive. Other automaker dealer confirmed my new vehicle availability and colour the very next day. And I took delivery that Saturday. More
This dealership was once a Saturn dealership that I have dealt with since 1990. Some of the same people are there but the Saturn philosophy is not. My latest Saturn 2008 Aura XE is in excellent condition dealt with since 1990. Some of the same people are there but the Saturn philosophy is not. My latest Saturn 2008 Aura XE is in excellent condition with less than 37,000 KM. I really had no intent to buy a new car but I received a printed letter and email to visit the dealership for a KIA 2013 Early Arrivals event, because they WANT my car. Good trade in values with 0% financing and no payment for 90 days. I had heard many promising things about KIA so I thought, why not take a look. I don't need a new car but I would like a new car. I test drove the RIO 4 Door and the Optima. The Optima was a great car but too much car for what I need. Getting the RIO was more in line with how frequently I drive - public transit more to work now. While discussing the Sedan I fell in love with the RIO 5. I ended up purchasing it that Saturday. I was told they had 4 cars in stock at other dealers. Now I had initially looked at a KIA 4 door sedan but I liked the look of the RIO 5. There was some confusion on the order that I was purchasing a 2012, which I wasn't, and that ended up with me having to fight for the 0% because they said it was 0.9%. I did get 2013 for 0% event, which cost the dealership some $700 as apparently even though Wayne told me that 0% applied, it didn't for the RIO 5. I think that caused them to stall in the end. I was supposed to get a call on Tuesday to confirm but on Thursday my wife received a call from Wayne saying they had a problem locating the car - would I be interested in the sedan? My wife said no but you would have to call me. She then called me at work to let me know. I waited an hour and no call, so phoned the dealership. Wayne gave me the story that the car they wanted for me in Blue was gone. I told him RIO 5 was the only car I was interested in and tore him a new one, as I had since found out that the trade in allowance of $7000 was about $1000 or so on the cheap. The 2008 Aura was worth private as much as 10-14K with low km. My bad for not researching properly before hand. I now was told they found a black one ... no I would like the Blue or the Red was my preferred choice. They had one up north but to drive it down would add 300 odd km on the clock. Note: They had initially offered this prior and it would cost me $500 transport, but they were going to right that off now. I said I would prefer to order a new Red one - but ok I'll take the 300 added km one if you toss in the floor mats. Can't do that we're loosing money on this because we wrote of the $700. Really when you are making a killing on the trade in. Oh we can't sell them (Saturns). Then why are you marketting to get my car?! I tore him another. I told him I was in no hurry, that I wish I hadn't started this. Order a new red one or I'll get the up north car for floor mats. Ok we can do that. I have to confirm this with the sales manager. I received a msg on my voicemail 2 hrs later that they are waiting for confirmation on the red car in and there MAY be another coming in (to the dealer) 2-3 weeks. Oh jeeze I go to the dealership because at this point what with the runaround and the trade in allowance I felt I was getting short end and being ripped off. I was very annoyed. The sales manager now informed me they couldn't get the red car from up north so were trying to get another in transit. More misinformaion from Wayne. I said I wanted to walk away, save us all alot of time. My deposit of $2500 was returned and I made a lucky escape. The whole endeavor was a nightmare from start to finish. I felt like I was never getting a straight answer. I seriously doubt I will deal with this dealership again for repairs or puchase. More
