I bought a pre-owned certified vehicle. 6 weeks later the motor went. My warranty would only cover $3000 so I was on the hook for $6000. I had only drove 4000km. THAT IS NOT THE WORST PART! 6 weeks later the motor went. My warranty would only cover $3000 so I was on the hook for $6000. I had only drove 4000km. THAT IS NOT THE WORST PART!. The gm dealership I took it to for the motor called me when they started to work on changing it to tell me the frame of the truck is not good. They had a body shop come in for a 2nd opinion and they agreed the vehicle frame is unsafe. The licensed mechanics will not put the motor in because of it being bad enough and unsafe. Kitchener Ford was supposed to call me back with some kind of solution. The date they said they would call me was months ago and now will not answer any of my messages or respond to me at all. I now have years of payments on something I can't drive or fix because it was unsafe and should not have been sold to me with the frame. Bair had received photos the garage took and his words to me was that the holes looked like they had poked them with their finger and were not already I there. I'm pretty sure to pass a safety you should not be able to poke holes with your finger into the frame. I have been brushed off like I don't matter. My children being in a vehicle I trusted was safe and certified to find out it is not MATTERS! I was willing to buy another truck from them if they were willing to work with me in rectifying the problem. But have been ignored. I tried as long as I could to not get anyone else involved but now I have no choice More
Bought my car new from these guys. .. nothing special about it. Maybe it was because I wasn't signing up for all that extra warranty crap! Got a letter from Ford of Canada (Customer Sat .. nothing special about it. Maybe it was because I wasn't signing up for all that extra warranty crap! Got a letter from Ford of Canada (Customer Satisfaction Program) saying that the PCM needed reprogramming to help prevent coolant intrusion into the cylinder bore. To test whether this is already happening requires a pressure test, but do you think the "Ford trained experts" at Kitchener Ford did this, while it was still under regular power train warranty? NO! Guess who paid the price... literally! :-( UPDATE: So, I get an update on my Ford app... Campaign #21N12 (One time repair for vehicles included in 19B37). But I've already paid!!! I contact the dealer to inquire about a refund for my out-of-pocket expense of almost $4k and, after a month of back-and-forth, I get informed that since I've already received a small amount of after warranty assistance on the original repair, I am not entitled for a full refund. I posted a bad review for the service I received on my Ford F150 truck. I was not until I sent the review did I get any response from the GM Scott Metcalfe. Again I have called several times to discuss Ford F150 truck. I was not until I sent the review did I get any response from the GM Scott Metcalfe. Again I have called several times to discuss my issue and each time they put me directly to his voice mail and not a response back. More
After I had 4 new tires installed on my truck I took it to this dealership for a front end alignment. When I got it back it made a terrible noise in the front end. The service manager at the time said it w to this dealership for a front end alignment. When I got it back it made a terrible noise in the front end. The service manager at the time said it was a bent rim. But the bent rim was on the rear tire not the front. After I had the rim replaced the noise was still there. I had another garage look at the alignment and it was off enough that I had to put 2 new tires on my front wheels. I took the supporting documentation into the GM Scott Metcalfe and he said he had to get the initial alignment work from Hunter Tire. If Ford was supposed to complete the work why would he have to get to someone else to get the documentation. How many other service repairs are they farming out to other garages??? It has been over 2 weeks since I gave all supporting documentation with respect to my truck and still now reply or follow-up from the garage. I have left a message as well with no reply. More
