worst car buying experience ever I purchased a 2017 Kia Sorento here. Great car! The issues began as soon as they had my money. There was no ownership. I was told to carry the bill of sale until such time as they gave me the ownership. This is not right. I wasn't told prior to purchase that there was only one key fob. Another will cost between $500.00 and $800. The navigation system was missing an SD card that has the maps, so there is no navigation system. Another $250.00 to $350.00 expense. Had I known about these deficiencies a would not have purchased the vehicle. One could almost call it dishonest to fail to disclose these things. I went to see the sales manager to see if he would make it right but no luck. I will not return to this dealership and I will tell my family, friends and acquaintances about this experience. More
Had a bad feeling when I walked in. Took my car in for a recall yesterday to replace abs/esc module and they completely butchered it. I’m was a master Kia tech myself til late 2018 and know this recall well. Talked to the shop foreman and asked to retrieve the key I forgot in my car. He yelled in the shop “GET THE KEYS FROM THAT PILE OF xxxx!” I was shocked and turned to the advisor that that was in fact what he said. My car was later returned to me (parked in the handicapped spot) with all 4 inner rims and tires saturated in brake fluid from the poor bleeding procedure. They took it back in and cleaned it handed back to me. When I was ready to leave the lot I noticed the brake pedal was to the floor and very spongy. I went back inside and complained again and also stated that air was still present in the system and needed to be bled again. As I watched from the window the bleeding procedure was not done. I explained my concern and how I was mistreated to the service manger and he smiled and shrugged saying it’s nothing we did, after he had come back from the a test drive that wasn’t performed after the repair to verified proper function of my brakes. My brakes still had air in the hydraulic system. I thanked him politly as my car was parked in the handicapped spot where he had left it for the 3rd time. Later today I decided to bring in my car to bleed the brake the correct way. Once hoisted in the air I noticed damage to my uncover and gas tank and parking brake cable area as if the mechanic previously that work on my car and placed the hoist arm incorrectly. Not only did they destroy my brakes but my my gas tank is bent in and uncovers broken. Bled my brake system and found lots of air in the system. Thinking how and why they would don’t such a thing?? Contacted the dealer and service manager had gone home. Left a message for him and expecting a call tomorrow. This pile of xxxx carries me to work and back makes me money and keeps my family safe. Mangment team at this location is well under-par. Have pics and videos and will be contacting KIA CANADA very shortly for Kias are amazing cars. and so is mine wether you think it’s a pile of xxxx or not!! More

Purchase review Very disappointed with this dealership. I purchased a Jeep from this dealership in mid May. The sales guy Jesse told me the car had one year warranty Very disappointed with this dealership. I purchased a Jeep from this dealership in mid May. The sales guy Jesse told me the car had one year warranty and I'd be able to take it to any Jeep dealership if I had any issues but it was all checked out and it passed all inspection. In November the car started making a grinding noise so I called him and he said to take it into a Jeep dealership close to me. I took it into the a Jeep dealership. They told the warranty had expired even before I got the car because it was a 2017 model! I said I had the car less than 1 year and it only had 5000km's at time of purchase and only 14,000 now, which is less than the 20,000km allowed for the warranty. I was told the sales guy lied to me cause I never had a warranty on the car! I called Jesse and he said it's wear and tear and that's why it's not covered! I then called Jeep Canada. They informed me wear and tear parts ARE covered but again told me my warranty had expired before I even got the car and the dealership I bought the car lied to me so I should go back to them! I have messaged the manager of the location and still not received a response! A car that's less than a year old is costing me over $500 in repairs! Based on my experience, I feel I was deceived and would never recommend this dealership. The sales person was deceitful about the warranty and the sales a manager did nothing to rectify the situation. Instead he just ignored my messages to reach a resolution. Completely unprofessional and poor customer service!!! More

Horrible customer service I took my car in for some service on a Friday mid day. I needed a tire of which they needed to order. The time of day was past the Friday order to del I took my car in for some service on a Friday mid day. I needed a tire of which they needed to order. The time of day was past the Friday order to deliver same day and was told it would be ordered and delivered on Saturday around 3 pm. That meant that the service wouldn't happen till Monday morning because service on Saturday closed at 1 pm. I was promised my car would be ready for 10 am. Monday morning came and at 9:50 am I called to see how much longer it would be till my car was ready. They himmed and hawed and put me on hold many time and then told me they didn't have my tire yet. The service manager told me he called the supplier on Saturday and was informed that tire would come 8 am Monday. Then he said he called at 8 am and the supplier said they would ship the tire but the dealership wouldn't have it till 3 pm. on Monday. The more he said the angrier I got. I should have been called at least on Saturday explaining the situation. For sure a call should have been made at 8 am Monday morning. Then miraculously the service manager got a note from an employee that they had the tire and were now working on the car. So the whole story was lie after lie after lie. I love the car but the dealership is terrible to deal with. This is not my first lie I have had from them. I was without a car for the weekend. No curtisy car offered. Buyer be where. More
Most Awful Customer Service Ever My KIA Soul EV was brought in for service to check rear end grinding noise on August 15th. They did a break service and all was running fine thereafter. Two days later the vehicle was side-pushed about a foot by a van backing out of a driveway. It since had been pulling to the left. The accident was reported to the insurance who authorized a repair estimate. KIA stated this was chargeable. I paid. A full inspection instead of an accident related repair estimate was performed - this is not what they were asked to do do at all. On the report on August 18th 2018 they stated that this was a maintenance issue and that the tires needed rotating together with an alignment. They failed to notice a dent and scratches caused by the impact of the reversing van near the wheel well. Based on this report the insurance could not pay for the repair. A second estimate and review by an insurance company authorized shop "Assured" was required. I called the service manager Todd who was more than unfriendly and unprofessional and in fact extremely rude. I would not ever trust the service manager and service at this dealership. Customer satisfaction appears to not be on their mind. On the other hand sales staff is very friendly. There is a disconnect between sales and service and management. I spoke to the sales manager, Rob Robotham, send an enlightening email with a request for response. It has remained unanswered and this manager would not reveal the names of the principals. This reminds me of the utmost sleaziness and this dealership fits the reputation of sleazy dealerships. More
Bought a Kia Soul 2016 This is my third Kia vehicle and Kia of Newmarket has serviced them all. This last Kia Soul has been a different experience and am sadly disappointed. At 64,000 km there were service suggestions made before the usual booklet ownership manual requirement. Coolant, Engine flush, spark plugs, wheel alignment, tire rotation. I brought it in for an oil change and came out with $1000.00 of work. The oil change was the worst ever, the techician dented the gasket and I had oil on my driveway. Had to return to get it fixed. Then I had the suggested engine flush done as I didn’t on the $1000.00 initial time and as I was driving it home, the car stopped dead. I could have been rear ended if I hadn’t reacted so quickly to get it over. Turns out that there was still residue left from the flush. I ended up going four times , first for a simple oil change, then to redo the leaking car from an oil change, then to do the engine flush and then to return for a faulty engine flush as the car stalled and there red lights came on. Car was noisy and it turns out that there was still chemical residue left behind. I could have been on the Hwy and been rear ended and been in a serious accident. I was so scared! A coolant is recommended which is before it’s time and even though it was suggested, they couldn’t test it to verify that the car even needed a coolant flush. Kia of Newmarket isn’t the same as was in 2004, I’m disappointed in my expierience there as of late. When I called the service mgr to discuss the 4 visits, and all the issues, he said that they give staff a learning break. I replied, I could have been rear ended, this is serious... More
