Sales is terrible. Just awful, sneaky pressuring salesman. Would not recommend. Service and maintenance is great though. Maintaining the car is fine but I definitely got pressured into buying some salesman. Would not recommend. Service and maintenance is great though. Maintaining the car is fine but I definitely got pressured into buying something I didn't want. Buy a kia anywhere else. Maintain it here. More

WORST Customer Service at the Service Centre If zero stars was an option I would select it! Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. While the Sales Service was Good – the Mechanical Ser If zero stars was an option I would select it! Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership. While the Sales Service was Good – the Mechanical Service Department was incompetent. Installed an incorrect part in the vehicle during the prep before delivery. Brought the error to the attention of the dealership - and not only was the Service Manager – Todd Rickards, Condescending – the position of Management was to ignore the error made by their Service Department. I had to take the vehicle to another Service Centre to correct the error and while I requested that the dealership paid for a diagnosis to look into if there was potential long term damage caused by their incompetence – a reasonable request since the error was entirely their technicians fault – it was outside of their policy. Showing complete lack of concern for their customer – echoed from the entire Kia of Newmarket Management Team as acknowledged in their response. More
Worst dealership EVER UPDATE on KIA NEWMARKET service dept. as of June 3, 2020 Today at 11:18am I received a call from a person who identified themselves as Brandon, one UPDATE on KIA NEWMARKET service dept. as of June 3, 2020 Today at 11:18am I received a call from a person who identified themselves as Brandon, one of Kia Newmarket owners. He was completely rude and condescending. Prior to this call I had sent Sonja Cook and Todd Rickards an email with the consumer laws of Ontario regarding repair shops and asked him why none of the laws were adhered to by his employees. So, shortly after my email I got a call from Brandon, one of the owners. He said that "they likely gave me the estimate by hand and I could have lost it"....WOW. I said "sir I have a txt msg to your service manager, Sonja, where I asked her to send me an email and provided my email address. Of course I did not get any email, nor was any estimate hand delivered to me. He then said "if you need the refund for your diagnostic so bad that you're going to have a heart attack"...again WOW. I said this is not about the money it is principal and I may just donate that money to charity, to which he replied "oh then I will donate that money for you"...to which I replied, NO, it is my money to do what I want with it and you need to return it to me and what I do with it is none of your concern. He kept going on about making the donation and then said that he would make the dollar donation and I should also make the same amount donation. So Brandon's solution was that he felt he had the right to make a donation with MY MONEY and that I should also make another donation on top of that. xxx is this really the behaviour of one of the owners of Kia Newmarket?!!! WOW. Ultimately I had to hang up on him.... Oh and Brandon denied that his service manager, Sonja, tried to sell me some xx saying my car had "dirty brakes" and it would cost me $227 to clean them...which she said 3 times and which I have evidence of. But of course nothing in writing on that estimate for the xx either....The real problem, as determined by Plaza Kia, was the rear rotor. Dirty brakes my xxx!!! In addition, the service manager at Plaza Kia who did the proper work for me with full transparency, correctly and with courtesy has been getting emails and calls from Kia Newmarket asking him to support their decision. Unbelievable!! I hope this serves as caution to anyone who may ever consider dealing with Kia Newmarket, who in my opinion, is an extremely corrupt dealership, right from the top on down. I’ve had maintenance done at this dealership since 2012 when I bought the car. In my opinion it’s always first class. I’ve been treated with nothing but respect and am either driven home by a cheerful shunt driver while my car is being worked on, or have waited in their comfortable lounge, sipping complementary coffee and watching TV or reading. After this oil change, Sonja advised me that due to the age of the vehicle they would take a quick look and suggest some things that needed to be done, and gave me a list and the cost. I appreciated this as it is now my ‘to-do’ list to get done before winter comes again. Over my eight years of being a customer, I’ve never experienced anything that would warrant a negative word. Thank-you Kia of Newmarket. More
I took my Kia Soul in because of a swooshing sound the tires were making on June the 8th. I love how they take care of you here. Not only did they get me in quickly- within 2 or 3 days after calling tires were making on June the 8th. I love how they take care of you here. Not only did they get me in quickly- within 2 or 3 days after calling, they retorqued my tires for nothing, as they were loose. I also got a few maintenance jobs done while I was there. I really appreciate how Taylor takes the time for small talk, while I’m waiting and how Todd always makes sure I’m happy with the service, and that everything is going smoothly. I dropped off my car at 8:30am and heard back by by 9:07am. I love the communication via text, as I can take a quick look at it while I’m working and have all the info I need to make a decision. Great people ! Great car!! More

Avoid at all costs I would never buy a car here again. I will not even bring my car here for service. The experience I had after purchase was abysmal - promised aspects I would never buy a car here again. I will not even bring my car here for service. The experience I had after purchase was abysmal - promised aspects of the sale were not fulfilled, which led to two different battles to assert my rights. At the end of the day these were resolved to the extent I agreed to resolutions just to avoid court - but not as it should have been based on our original agreements. More
Buyer beware with this dealership! I can't stress enough to avoid this dealership! The sales tactics are dirty, and they lie to make a sale. In particular, stay away from"JESSE" sales I can't stress enough to avoid this dealership! The sales tactics are dirty, and they lie to make a sale. In particular, stay away from"JESSE" sales rep. They forgot to change my ownership when I took possession only to be stopped when I tried to get a birthday sticker several months later because the ownership was still in the old owner's name. I paid top dollar for a used 2014 Soul because it had no rust and a "rust module" installed that will stop the car from rusting. What they didn't tell me was the module wasn't working and was NON-TRANSAFERRABLE from the past owner and of course the car rusted to the tune of $2000. The dealership refused to repair it and KIA Canada, actually told me they have no control over the individual dealerships no matter how bad they are. Unbelievable. Well, Kia and Kia NewMarket you will never make another sale on me or any family member. Eventually, the one-off sales will catch up. More
Worst dealer to deal with. Asked for a part for my new(used) Kia and provided my VIN to avoid getting the wrong parts. Well that didn't stop it from happening and all for washer nozzles no less! I sho new(used) Kia and provided my VIN to avoid getting the wrong parts. Well that didn't stop it from happening and all for washer nozzles no less! I should of known from the start I was in for issues when the parts invoice wasn't in my name. I guess they just assumed that because the VIN was in the system that thats who I was. I asked if this would be an issue and was insured as long as I had the invoice it was ok. 134$ later once part in hand(after it was ordered) realized it won't fit in the hood. I PAID BY DEBIT but was informed they have to cut me a cheque and refused to put the money back on my card. I was told by the parts guy he wrote down my info and would send it up to finance which he obviously didn't do because after waiting 2 weeks and 3 trips to the store the name on the cheque was wrong!!! I refused to go back there and the parts manager ended up getting it delivered in the end but what a bunch of bs! Its mid winter and no operating washer nozzles, dissapointing! More
