Purchased a 2014 Sorento ex-v6 w/sf at the end of January and just wanted to let any potential buyers to be aware of some of the fees used by this dealership.The dealership in general is very nice and the em and just wanted to let any potential buyers to be aware of some of the fees used by this dealership.The dealership in general is very nice and the employees are polite and courteous so I have no issues with any of those aspects.The negotiations are another matter and again this is only what I encountered.This dealership likes to keep PDI separate and although they are free to do so tacking on another $399 on top of freight of $1665 brought me to over $2000.They charge an Admin fee of $399 and are also free to do but lots of dealerships like Honda or Hyundai don't charge an admin fee.If you are planning on trading in a car be aware that you will pay an extra $79 just for them to look up your trade in.Dealers bulk buy from places like Carfax and receive discounts so $20 tops is what they might pay.Also be aware that they charge a security fee of $299 to put 8 stickers on any new or used vehicle.They make this a mandatory charge so don't think you won't be paying for this.If you've done your homework and gone to Unhaggle to get the invoice price you'll see that mandatory fees like Freight and PDI etc are included but don't be fooled you WILL pay extra .Also if you or someone is a recent graduate from a list of approved universities don't expect to get the $500 grad rebate.Kia Canada contributes $350 but this dealership does NOT participate and they won't tell you that up front.Shop around and see what other Kia dealers are doing.You might be pleasantly surprised.
