Wrong diagnosis of cause for non functioning ISG following test drive Failure to detect ISG problem prior to delivery despite problem reported three days earlier after test drive Failure to perform all recommended maintenance items prior to delivery despite charging $452 PDI. I had to pay an additional $112 to have the outstanding work done. Six hour stay at the dealership to close car purchase including plus 2 hour wait time for an employee who was overworked. The dealership was short staffed despite running a "Black Friday" sale. The Jay Jordan was defensive about the long wait times and argued that there was no better way of handling the situation. In September 2012 I started a fact finding mission and visited the Kia dealership in Newmarket. I was warmly greeted by Jennifer Newlove. At the time, I was comparing the Kia Sportage and the Nissan Rogue visited the Kia dealership in Newmarket. I was warmly greeted by Jennifer Newlove. At the time, I was comparing the Kia Sportage and the Nissan Rogue. I asked Jennifer a bunch of questions and she promptly answered all my queries, she worked up some prices and showed me the Sportage. I really liked her helpful non-pushy attitude – and I also liked the Sportage, but the timing wasn’t right for me to seriously consider purchasing yet. In December of 2013, I decided it was time to make a purchase. I reached out to Jennifer – because I liked the Sportage and also because I liked dealing with her. When it came right down to it, the deciding factor in buying a Kia and not a Nissan was Jennifer. She was honest, friendly, and knowledgeable. I think she’s Kia’s secret weapon. I was searching on line, but was really hesitant due to a bad experience that left I purchased my car on line, a 7 hour drive to Kia of Newmarket. I was searching on line, but was really hesitant due to a bad experience that left me really sceptical of salesmen when you are that far away to trust someone again of what they say is the truth.Rob went over and above to be as descriptive of the vehicle to ensure me that the car was in excellent shape. He actually suggested "face-time" where we arranged to connect to give me a walk around the vehicle and he pointed out any mark on the vehicle that I may not like. Well needless to say, he was so honest I would not have even noticed a mark that he pointed out during our face-time viewing. I left next day to purchase the car and it is even better than I anticipated! I love the car, the service when I arrived was excellent, right from the greeting walking in the door to staff introducing themselves. They really made you feel like family. I went in with a problem concerning the vehicle not starting; they identified the problem and replaced the part (covered under warranty) the same day. Katelyn Field, the service advisor, was very frie starting; they identified the problem and replaced the part (covered under warranty) the same day.
