Excellent Service!! I would definitely recommend Kia Richmond. Snow, Wayne & Kristi were all wonderful. Avoid Snow Wang ... unless you enjoy being overcharged and disrespected. In which case, good luck to you. In 32 years of the auto business, never have I had the displeasure of meet such a useless character. He knows nothing about cars or selling them. Obviously just another greedy sales person who does nothing but perpetuate the stereotypes of shady cars sales. Everyone who comes in to a dealership expects to negotiate, not be insulted. When the dealer is into a vehicle for $9500 (anymore than that, they must have bad management), and someone knows it, you can't try and rob them, let alone ignore the fact someone knows more than you. How do you figure? Simple. A car lists at top book for $10200, even if its a prime example, a dealer never pays full book. With a trade in on a Kia Soul, there is no room, so you'll come in near the high end, but $9500 has to be it. Asking $12888, is an astonishing $3388 mark up. Even over top wholesale book, thats still $2800+ and plenty of profit. But THEN to charge $700 in 'fees' for delivery and administration is an additional insult. There IS room to move, and negotiation is part of the process. However, if someone knows you margins and the process better than you, and want to deal with a manager direct, you don't continue to ignore them. Call it a top book car, though not perfect, and there is you $10200. Throw another $500 on do the shop can make some dough and you get to $10700. After tax - $12000. A fair opening offer. Any sales "professional" at all will happily take a smaller commission to get another unit out, especially when it walks in, ready to hand over cash. A complete buffoon & avoid like the plauge. Not only does he not understand the process, he not only came back with a number somewhere in the middle, he came back with a number even higher than when he went to 'go see the boss'!!! His math. $12888 + $694 in 'fees' (that suddenly appeared)+ taxes... Almost $15000, for a car worth 10- maybe 11 (if they touched it up) on the BEST day of its life. Understandably, the shop wants to make all the money it can, but overcharging and being unwilling to get a manager, whose job it is to negotiate is simply asinine. More

AVOID like the PLAGUE **this is a review for KIA Richmond - the first part is the back story that they (Eric-Richmond) were aware of prior to Lying to me*** I called Ale **this is a review for KIA Richmond - the first part is the back story that they (Eric-Richmond) were aware of prior to Lying to me*** I called Alen, at Applewood Kia Surrey, and advised him that I would be heading into the Langley branch (as langley had the new car I wanted on their Lot). Alen then said that they have 2 (one satin color and one blue) and that he would beat langleys price. I agreed to come to their site. On arrival Alen said that the manager was using the car, to get lunch, and he would be back in 5 min. Alen also said that they don't have either of the cars he told me they had. The manager arrived back in a white vehicle that was licenced and had 9000km on the clock. Alen claimed that this was a "new vehicle" or at worst a "demo". Anyway - we test drove the managers "new car" and then sat down to purchase a new 2014 that he, confirmed would not be a problem, could get from another dealer. After 30min of haggling I agreed to the price (they beat Langley by $500) and asked Alen to do the paperwork. He asked me to pay the $1000 deposit- which I did. Alen then presented me with the prelim purchase agreement. Upon review I discovered that Alen had written up a completely different vehicle (that we had never discussed) at a much higher price ($40,000). I brought this to his attention and he claimed "my mistake - woopsie". Yet we had spent the last 60 minutes talking about the one specific vehicle that I wanted to buy. I asked him for the correct document and he reluctantly wrote it up (took 30 minutes). By his body language it was clear that he did not intend to complete the deal. Alen promised to call me in 10 minutes once they had confirmed a dealer swap. And that we could leave the dealership. 1 hour passed and no call. So I called Alen and he said they were still confirming the dealer swap. The manger asked me to wait till tomorrow. The next day I receive no call, so I phone them at 1pm - Speak to the manager, as Alen is away, and he says that they still havnt done anything. I ask for my deposit of $1000 back onto my credit card and the manager tells me "that the internet is down and the visa machine is not working" but that he would "refund the money once it is back up". He also said that he would call me once done. (this was sunday. It took till Thursday to get back -and only after I involved KIA Canada head office) I have never - in my entire life - been lied to, and deceived, so many times in one afternoon. To make matters worse - I then called Kia Richmond -Eric,(on Sunday - the following day) and told them the above horror story and they said they have two of the cars in stock and a "pleasant surprise awaits" - so I drive to their lot and guess what - nada! They lied so that I would turn up and they tried to then sell me a used 2015. The Manager told me that they never had any of the model I asked for and the salesman didn't lie "he just made a mistake". The Salesman then continued to try and sell me the 2015!!! Needless to say I was enraged when I found that out - and drove away. The following day I asked for a fuel voucher (as it was 45min each way to richmond) the salesman said ok no problem -but I would have to collect in person!!!! I asked him to mail to me and suddenly no response! More
