Even after sale Jenny followed up to check if everything is ok with new car. She is still very responsive for any query I have. As a professional salesperson myself, I appreciate it when a sales person is honest enough to admit when they don't know the answer to a question but will find out for me .That is exactly what Patrick did . He was also patient and never pushy over the course of my research on the Kia brand along with other brands I was considering . When it came to the final numbers I had done my homework and had a pretty good idea of a fair price for a new Sorento . When I met with Mario I asked that all the numbers be transparent and he obliged .I could see that I was getting a fair deal on the car. I understand that companies have to make money to stay in business and I fell confident that it was a win win for both parties . They were fair on our trade in . All the staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant . I will be recommending Patrick and Mario at Kia Richmond to all of my friends and clients interested in a new car . Love driving my my new Sorento SX + and no buyers remorse . Thanks again. Hope the service department is as good to deal with as the sales staff . More

Patient, knowledgeable staff who love selling their product! The lease on my husband's work vehicle was coming to an end, and for a variety of reasons it made sense for him to use the large family car as a trade The lease on my husband's work vehicle was coming to an end, and for a variety of reasons it made sense for him to use the large family car as a trade in to purchase a new vehicle. That left me in need of a runabout for groceries and errands. Which small car to choose? I think I test drove just about everything out there, and was not impressed with the customer service in many other dealerships, I'm afraid. When I first walked into Kia Richmond, I was greeted promptly and courteously, and in no time Patrick was talking to me about the features of the small car I was in need of. He took the time to understand what I was looking for in a car and answer all the questions I had about the Rio. My decision process took a couple of months (I never rush into these things, and I had to test drive a bunch of other cars again just to make sure) and Patrick never made me feel rushed. When I was ready to buy, Patrick and Mario were able to arrange for a fair price and a good financing package without the stress and back and forth gamesmanship that is so common in the car buying world. I will definitely bring the little Rio in for the regular car washes (a nice bonus)! Thanks Patrick and Mario!! (In fact, my husband ended up buying a car here too the same weekend, thanks to open approach to clarifying the financial aspects of the deal.) More

She was friendly and professional and made me feel confident about my purchase. Before I bought the car they made sure I was comfortable with purchasing it and that I genuinely liked the vehicle. While I waited for my new car to be prepared they made sure I was comfortable and offered me refreshment. Mario also helped out at the point of sale and was very helpful. Jenny followed up with me a few days later to make sure I was happy with my new car. She told me to call or email her at anytime if I had any questions. It was nice and I can tell she cares about her customers. Overall it was a great experience. :) More

Service Dept Experience Just a heads up that free oil changes offered by the Richmond Kia during purchase is not free. We purchased a new vehicle in Sept of 2013. The first Just a heads up that free oil changes offered by the Richmond Kia during purchase is not free. We purchased a new vehicle in Sept of 2013. The first time was no problem using the free oil change by itself. When I made an appointment and told the receptionist that I just wanted an oil change in Nov 2015, it seemed fine. But after the service they wanted to charge me for their Service #1 package which included work that I didn't need or authorized (check head lights, check wipers, check signal lights, check air filters etc.) in addition to the oil change. After a discussion and explanation what I asked for when I made the appointment, he reluctantly removed the charges and rudely told me that I have to pay next time and cannot have the oil change by itself. Part of the reason he gave in was because there was a very upset customer waiting for him to find his car. Apparently this guy waited 3 hours to have his snow tires changed (even with an appointment) and now they can't find his car. How do you lose a car at a small dealership? So just a heads up for all of you that are going to Richmond Kia Service and think you may have a free oil change....you can't have this by itself anymore! If you are negotiating a deal make sure you have this clearly written in your contract. You may want to check with other Kia dealers. By the way, Vancouver and Richmond Kia are associated. More

After you have your coffee, sit down with Jenny, who will make you feel like family in five minutes flat. I went to Kia Richmond with my 18-year-old nephew after my old Toyota Corolla was totaled in an accident. My nephew had done the research for me and we knew that we wanted a Kia Rio. Jenny and her managers were very helpful and very patient with us as we talked through the various options. I went in thinking that I wanted a really basic stick shift and ended up with the LX Plus automatic. I got great financing from Mario, professional service from all the staff with whom I dealt, and I had a good time buying my new car. Kia Richmond is working hard to make their dealership a pleasant, non-stressful place to do business and I was impressed by their customer service and kindness. More
