My Fird Escape transmission was failing (cery ibvious difficulties) before my powertrain warranty was expired. They said they wouldnt replace it until it completley failed. It failed completley a shortly after the warranty expired. Then they told me they wouldnt replace it. My advice never buy from this dealership and di not but Ford at all. The company has had consistent transmission failures in many of their vehicles models. I had a replacement transmission and it failed too. One my 3rd transmission and its got the same symptoms. Ford cannot make a decent transmission. Dont buy Ford. More
Their service dept doesn’t treat their customer with respect. Tech have no skills to determine engine problems. Rely too much on diagnostic equipment. Went in hoping to buy a new vehicle. Salesman asked if I wanted seat covers for an additional cost of $4000.00 to which I replied "no thank you ". Salesman Gerry then snuck in the seat c Salesman asked if I wanted seat covers for an additional cost of $4000.00 to which I replied "no thank you ". Salesman Gerry then snuck in the seat covers in the final bill for signing. I repeated that I did not want or ask for the seat covers. He then brought in the sales manager who refused to sell me the vehicle unless I purchased the seat covers for $4000.00. I walked out. I will also be making a complaint to Ford Canada based on this dealership's unethical sales tactic. More

I have lived 5 minutes from this dealership for 20 years, and I'm a Ford truck guy, so it's easy to feel lazy and talk myself into giving them another chance. "Couldn't have been as bad as I remember", "May and I'm a Ford truck guy, so it's easy to feel lazy and talk myself into giving them another chance. "Couldn't have been as bad as I remember", "Maybe new service management", blah, blah, blah. But now, I tell myself, "Listen up man, these guys suck. They don't respect their customers and you will leave infuriated and unsatisfied on every level. Their service department is TERRIBLE!". You'll deal with arrogant Service Advisors who lie as first response, then after some thought, lie again, then lie again . . . It's far beyond abnormally dysfunctional. And I mean lies that are so stupid, they are little mini-nuggets that show really how stupid they think their customers are". Then I tell myself, "Get off my xxx and drive a bit further to a real Ford dealer who knows that treating customers respect and following that up with good service isn't optional". I should mention I have been to Kanata Ford at least 6-8 times over 20 years, and I've never had an experience as poor at any other Ford dealership. I have been to at least 4 other Ford dealerships around town. I would now trek to any of them before travelling 5 minutes to my local dealership. I did not take employee names, met probably 5 or 6. They're all the same. Toxic culture. More
Stopped in to take a look at what the dealership had in stock for F-150 trucks. A sales guy in a super sweet Kanata Ford jacket came out shortly after we arrived. He did not introduce himself but asked wha stock for F-150 trucks. A sales guy in a super sweet Kanata Ford jacket came out shortly after we arrived. He did not introduce himself but asked what we were looking for. I asked if there were any trucks with tow mirrors combined with a standard sized box. The reply was that they were lucky to have any trucks on the lot. (There were lots of trucks) I guess this is when he realized I probably wouldn’t be buying a truck today and checked out. I assume because of the chip shortage, sales have been easy for these guys for the last little while. I asked if by chance he had any insight to the high percentage of trucks in Quebec with this configuration and his answer was “it’s Quebec.” Not really sure what that insinuated but I would have accepted “I don’t know,” instead of coming up with some d*ckhead answer like that. I then asked if there were any lariat models on the lot to take a look at the interior. He pointed to the front of the lot and said “I think there’s one there. We just got a couple truck loads in on Friday (lucky!) and there might be more but I don’t know, they are getting upgraded wheels cause we like our trucks with big shoes here.” He then stated he would be inside if I needed him and didn’t offer to get keys to look at the interior of the truck. This was one of the worst examples of customer service I have ever seen. These trucks are $70-80k. They did not have the configuration I wanted on the lot but there was no offer to provide any type of solution. If you are looking for customer service I would not start here. If you want a truck with big tires and fender flares or like billowing diesel fuel when you hammer your truck from a red light this place might be for you. Just look for the middle aged sales guy who doesn’t care. More
Condescending service staff. Brought my car in twice to look at transmission and the work was never done correctly. After two times bringing it in it still hasn’t been fixed. Haven't even gone to the dealership yet. Asked a simple question via text and all I have received are short rude responses.
