I called Kanata Ford and booked an oil change for the next day at 7:30am . I couldn't make it so I asked my wife to go. Although she didn't want to go on her day off, I told her she would be in and out a next day at 7:30am . I couldn't make it so I asked my wife to go. Although she didn't want to go on her day off, I told her she would be in and out as it was only an oil change. When she arrived the service advisor told her to sign the invoice for the work. Turns out they added in a tire rotation and a full point inspection $300. My Bronco is brand new and didn't need any of this. They pulled a fast one on her. I have never owned a Ford nor have I ever been to their garage. I had no idea how unethical and sleezy they are at Kanata Ford. I tried to call the GM 'Jeff' but he hides away from any conflict and won't return any calls. I reported this incident to Ford Canada. The service advisor "Antonio" called me the next day and offered me a free oil change on my next visit for the troubles but told me maybe I shouldn't send my wife in anymore if she can't understand the invoices. Near the end of the phone call he said "ok, I have added $100 credit on your account" I asked how much an oil change was and he said $140 + taxes. The math didn't add up but I didn't want to deal with this sleaze ball any longer. I left a negative Google review after the phone call. The next day the same service advisor "Antonio" called me and asked if I left a negative review on Google. I said "Of course, I did. You ripped us off and others should know. He said, "Well, kiss your $100 credit good bye and then hung up on me. I tried calling the GM of Kanata Ford and apparently he does this to everyone. He won't return calls and avoids all negative feedback on his staff. This place is a circus run by the clowns. I will never buy a Ford again and I will do my service at a local run shop. More
Would not recommend this dealer for repairs. I took my vehicle in for a slightly noisy wheel bearing and by the time the finished it came to $2800. Instead of replacing the bearing they replaced I took my vehicle in for a slightly noisy wheel bearing and by the time the finished it came to $2800. Instead of replacing the bearing they replaced the entire Hub assy for $745. The bearing is around $125. Then to add to it they destroyed the axle trying to remove it and charged me a further $1100 for a new axle. I will never go to this dealer again. They should offer alternatives and at least try to keep repair costs down for their customers. Also they could have absorbed at least part of the cost of the axle they broke. This is why I took it to a trained mechanic. They are supposed to know how to take things apart. Highly advise folks to avoid this dealership. This is just shoking to say the least. More
I called Kanata FORD to make an appointment to see what they could offer me in exchange for my 2019 F150 truck. I was not planning on buying a new truck because mine was running very well, and I knew the p they could offer me in exchange for my 2019 F150 truck. I was not planning on buying a new truck because mine was running very well, and I knew the price of the new F150. When I met Gerry Fahey, the salesman, he made me feel very comfortable as soon as I came in. I told him the maximum amount I could afford to pay, and we looked at the F150s in stock. After many discussions between Gerry Fahey, Mike Webb (sales manager), and me, they came up with the price I had mentioned at the beginning. So, I could not say no to Gerry and Mike after all their efforts, and I bought the F150. I would like to thank Gerry Fahey and Mike Webb for listening to the customer and for their professionalism. I will recommend Gerry Fahey and Mike Webb without hesitation to anyone who wants to get a vehicle at Kanata Ford... Outstanding service. More
I called to book a recall service appointment for my Mach-E. The service technician informed me that they only service the electric vehicles they sold and directed me to another dealer. He stated, with Mach-E. The service technician informed me that they only service the electric vehicles they sold and directed me to another dealer. He stated, with apparent animosity, that since Barheaven Ford claims to be the first electric dealer, I should take my car there. I don't care about the competition between dealers. I bought a Ford, and any Ford dealership should service it. As someone who works at an OEM, I'm deeply disgusted by the way this dealership treats its clients. Ford makes great cars and trucks, but this dealer should not be representing them. By the way, I called Barheaven Ford, and they booked me in in 5 minutes. More
I have a 10 year old Ford Escape with over 204,000km that has been serviced by Kanata Ford since day one, back in August 2014. I will go nowhere else, even for an oil change. Probably the most troubl that has been serviced by Kanata Ford since day one, back in August 2014. I will go nowhere else, even for an oil change. Probably the most trouble free vehicle I ever have had since 1965 when I owned my first Pontiac. And I have owned Audi, BMW, Acura among other makes. Antonio the service manager is honest, compassionate and has contributed to ensuring I get the regular scheduled service. They have a loaner program, also a complimentary sandwich, coffee and cookie ‘restaurant’ with best home made wraps made in their panini maker. Feel great just pulling up to the dealer for any servicing. More
Bought a used 2021 F150 less than two month of ownership and they want to charge me $3300.00 to replace a faulty knock sensor. This is nuts the part is around $100 the rest is mostly labour.
