Beware of service department! Took our 2012 Sorento to them with an engine issue just out of warranty. Obvious problem but they assured us a $3000 sensor would fix it. Took it back next day as problem persisted, 1/2 hr later they informed us that the valves were shot. Said they wouldn’t fix the top end because the bottom end would fail but managed to find a used motor with 150K km on it that they would install for $7K. Mine had a little over 200K km, not a great investment. Service department manager basically said too bad so sad about the $3000 misdiagnosed fix. Absolute abysmal customer service and shameful technical knowledge. They did say they would give us $2000 for it on a trade in. Stay away from these crooks! More

Very disappointed. Bought my car in June 2022. One request I insisted upon was to have an autostart. Car did not have one and was promised that they would install one. Bought my car in June 2022. That was done but I guess I should have been more specific and asked for one that works. First cold snap in Fort St John tried to use my starter and it did not work I called Brandon who sold me the car and he asked for me to check the battery I complied and charged the battery it still did not work. I left 2 separate text to Branden, which have been completely ignored, We had a conversation over not having a block heater in my vehicle, I was somewhat upset as this was not something I had even considered would be an issue, I admit I did not handle this very well in our conversation. I have rectified that issue and wanted Brandon to rectify the issue with my autostart. He told me it should be on warranty. I called my local dealer and they informed me they would need information on who installed it and the serial number. I texted Brandon with this request as I have no info on this. I gave him the dealership number so he could call them and give them this information. I have not heard from Brandon since. It is amazing to me that when he was selling me the car we were in contact almost on a daily basis until the sale was finalized. Now when there is an issue that I just want to see rectified response has been non existent. This is not only disappointing but very frustrating. I then went to the website and contacted the dealership with my issues. I guess management leads by example, because I have not received any response from them to date. Customer service is crucial to a business, but I have found this service deplorable, a simple fix to an auto start and communication does not seem to be too much to ask. Instead the dealership has made a very poor decision and has lost not only repeat business but any respect I have for them. The lack of integrity and complete dismissal of a good customer leaves something to be desired More
