ALMOST GOT INTO A FIST FIGHT WITH TROY . Bought a RAV4 from Kamloops Honda . Went back to see finance person to payout the loan. He told me I couldn't pay it out for 6 months , I informed hi Bought a RAV4 from Kamloops Honda . Went back to see finance person to payout the loan. He told me I couldn't pay it out for 6 months , I informed him on my contract it said I could pay it any time no penalty. He then said I had to make frist payment before I could pay it out . I went to talk to TROY the manager . He walked into his office ,I followed . I closed the door behind us . He lost his mind started yelling " open that door ,this is my office and I want the door open " . I said " I want the door closed to discuss my financial information " . He lost it even worse " THIS IS MY OFFICE AND MY GOD DAM DOOR AND YOU WILL OPEN THAT DOOR " ((He was so mad I believe if I would have done anything but open the door there would have fist fight ) I opened door. Had a short talk about my situation, which he said he would do nothing . I thanked him for his time . I went home called the financial company and in 5 minutes had my loan paid out . More

My Wife & I just purchased a 2024 Honda CRV Sport through David Oppenheim (Sales) & dealt with Chase Broadfoot in the Finance Dept. We had just returned from a trip to Maui & were pleasantly suprised by all David Oppenheim (Sales) & dealt with Chase Broadfoot in the Finance Dept. We had just returned from a trip to Maui & were pleasantly suprised by all aspects of the vehicle delivery. The vehicle was completed & ready for pick when promised & from Chase in Finance & David in Sales we couldn't be happier with their attention to all our needs !! We originally tried "shopping locally" where we live but it did not work out & Kamloops Honda checked all our boxes & made it very easy for us to make our decision. We absolutely Love our new CRV & would like to commend David, Chase & Kamloops Honda & our ICBC Agent for making our buying experience a satisfying one. Cheers to u all..... I met general manager and share my problem but he also doesn’t care my problem. I omitted a long story, but the GM try to kick me out. And also I spoke to sales manager and he doesn’t care my problem. GM and sales manager said there is everything in the paperwork and they are not going to solve my problem. Just try to change your mind, if I was notified about the problem before I purchase the vehicle. I will consider another vehicle or ask the cost to fix the problem. I hope GM or business owner consider wisely on my problem.(actually I never want to deal with GM again, he was a nasty attitude on my problem). If one of customers come across similar problem with me. I can guess how Kamloops Honda deal after. I will comeback again to the dealership. Nov 24, 2022 worst of worst experience at Kamloops Honda. I crrently purchased used vehicle at Kamloops Honda within a month. It was about $27,000 vehicle and I was satisfied with my car until 2weeks ago. However, I came accross a problem with that one of fob key does not start my vehicle. It was a first time use myself, I only check both fob key with opening, locking and trunk opening at the dealership. I asked about the problem to dealer who sold the vehicle and the dealer said Kamloops Honda does not have any responsibility to fix the problem. Even this period is under seller market which I understood, I could not believe Kamloops Honda manage their service after sell like this. The dealer mentioned fob key does not include 3 month warrenty, therefore I have to pay and fix this problem myself... I felt terrible for their management and never recommend this dealership to my friends. I also feel Kamloops Honda dealership sales person does not care vehicle condition before they sell and does not follow up their issue after sell... *******I DO NOT RECOMMEND Honda Kamloops******* Again, this is the worst of worst experience from Kamloops Honda dealership and I would like to share my case. I do regret that I purchased $27,000 vehicle without checking any reviews. More
Bought a truck here and was treated unbelievably bad. We will never recommend the poor service we received at this dealership. When the sales guy called us as he couldn't find our address he answered our hello with, "WHERE THE xxxx ARE YOU." Couldn't find us so dropped the tires off at a random business. When going to management about the multiple issues we ran into, they ignored us completely. Our concerns weren't addressed and amount of lies and foul talk was astonishing. 0 out of 5 stars. More
The negligence of this shop almost caused an accident on the highway for myself and my kids. We noticed a weird grinding noise while driving, when turning and accelerating and decelerating. We had asked if it was covered under warranty and they had said it depended on the repair. If it wasn’t covered or nothing was found we would pay for the diagnostic. We also had a service done later and asked them to check for the same thing. They assessed it and told us they gave it a thorough look through and a test drive. They said there was no sound or grinding they could hear or feel. They said they tightened a couple things. I got in the SUV and immediately could still feel/hear the issue though it seemed a tad better. My husband tried it out too and went back in the shop and said it was still there. They assured him that any sound we thought we could hear/feel was a regular noise. We went home and eventually called back. We were told vehicles make noises and to rest assured they checked anything it could be and there is no issue. They made us feel incompetent. At the service, they still said there were no issues. Again, telling us there was nothing to hear or feel. We called in once or twice more and were told said they can check again but we are on the hook for paying when there is no actual issue. Most driving has been in town. While driving on the highway, we had a dangerous wobble but there was no where to get work done. I had it happen enough times to know it wasn’t the road conditions but had no safe places to stay/get reception for 100km or so. I figured my wheel alignment wasn’t right and took it in to KalTire. They checked the alignment and also found we had a control arm issue. They fixed it an the issues we noticed when we took it to Honda were also foxed. They said it can be called a death wobble because it can jerk you to the side and then back again which can be incredibly dangerous at high speeds. I contacted Honda and spoke with the service manager Tyson. He basically said there is no way they could have predicted this was an issue when I brought it in. He maintains there was no way for them to know there was an issue. When I asked Tyson how they checked for the control arm he sidestepped the question, Kal Tire says their protocol allows for everything to dangle which is how they found the issue and most shops won’t do this. Tyson refuses to acknowledge my concerns as real concerns and says that because it was months between my concerns and getting the vehicle actually fixed there was nothing wrong with the vehicle especially. I asked him if my concerns in the beginning could indicate a lower control arm issue or not. He eventually conceded that they can indicate a lower control arm but isn’t necessarily the issue. This shop put my family at risk. More
I was approached by internet sales man Landon. made an offer on truck but requested I bring it to him for test drive. I obliged and bought truck to him. Most likely a bannister policy as I have dealing with them before. More
Have to give a huge shout out to the Service Centre and the Manager, Tyson Schwarz who managed to get me in for a service without an appointment. In the middle of a blizzard of medical appointments for my the Manager, Tyson Schwarz who managed to get me in for a service without an appointment. In the middle of a blizzard of medical appointments for my sister, including several in Kelowna and they just said I had enough on my plate and they would get me in that day. Only had to wait an hour and a half - one less thing to worry about in weeks of worries. Thank you so much. More
