Have to give a huge shout out to the Service Centre and the Manager, Tyson Schwarz who managed to get me in for a service without an appointment. In the middle of a blizzard of medical appointments for my the Manager, Tyson Schwarz who managed to get me in for a service without an appointment. Only had to wait an hour and a half - one less thing to worry about in weeks of worries. Thank you so much. More
I would have to say my experience was extremely disappointing with the service I received from this dealership. I experienced an issue that I brought multiple times to the dealership that the servi disappointing with the service I received from this dealership. I experienced an issue that I brought multiple times to the dealership that the service department couldn't recreate and said it would be one of three things. I was told they couldn't do anything about the sound, as they weren't 100% sure what the problem was. Even though a bulletin had been posted from Honda Canada on the issue. The service manager assured me not to worry as it was still in warranty and would look after me when the problem got worse. My concern was the warranty would expire, and I would be left with the bill so he assured me that after the warranty expired I would be looked after. I am now 15,000 km out of warranty and am left with the bill. When I challenged them on charging me for the repair, the owner said, since I had my oil changed somewhere else there was nothing she could do. Seems like a weak reason to get out of supporting a customer by using warranty-approved oil changes from somewhere else as a scapegoat. The fact that the majority of the negative reviews are unanswered shows the lack of concern for dissatisfied customers who received a disappointing experience at this dealership. I always try and support local businesses but I would make the trip to another Honda dealership if you are looking for a good customer service experience. More
BIG KUDOS TO THE KAMLOOPS HONDA SERVICE DEPARTMENT. We arrived in a panic at 2:45 Sat, my granddaughters car was not working properly and she had a drivers test scheduled for Monday (they take months to g arrived in a panic at 2:45 Sat, my granddaughters car was not working properly and she had a drivers test scheduled for Monday (they take months to get). I was looking for a specific Honda CRV for under $20000 and lower mileage. I left my name and number and Troy call after a few weeks to say he may have the right vehicle. Was sold a '16 Fit with a damaged bumper they said I did The cracked bumper was not shown to me and I did not notice it until I was leaving a restaurant 2 hrs after driving off the lot. When I returned to Kamloops Honda I was assured, because of the pre-owned Honda Certification programme, the damage would have been dealt with before the sale, so I must have damaged it and I should check into my insurance policy to help with my repair costs. It was only after I returned from viewing the parking lot security video at the restaurant which clearly showed no one near the Fit, did they admit to selling me a damaged car. So much for Honda Certified used-car programme promise. I was told Kamloops Honda could set me up with a good paint job for about 1/2 the price of repairing the damaged bumper. From being lied to, to being offered an inadequate 'repair', to not getting any response to my letter of complaint sent to the sales manager and the owner, I have no confidence in this dealership whatsoever. Having found Bannister Honda in Vernon on this webpage and their exceedingly better reviews, I am seriously considering going there for the maintenance and services I will require in the future. More
