Happily took my money and then couldn't bother to help I bought a brand new 2018 Chevy equinox from Jim Gauthier on McPhillips. Customer service was good until they got my money. Ever since its been nothing but being lead on for months, only to be told no. Back ground, I contacted the dealership a few months after purchasing my vehicle asking if they could help sponsor my service dog. I got told for months that they would get back to me right away. multiple emails and phone calls and I just kept getting the same thing, that they would get back to me. finally months later I did hear back, they asked for information on the service dog company I am training with, why I have my dog and for a donation letter. This gave me hope, so I gave them all the info, wrote a donation letter etc. A few days later the head of the service dog company Said he was contacted by the dealership asking to verify my donation request etc. Of courses this gave me even more hope that they may actually help. fast forward 6 months after the request, they finally gave me an answer. NO can't help,we donate to big organizations and not individuals who need help. Lets get this straight, being told no isn't what has me mad and frustrated. its the fact that they contacted the service dog company WITHOUT MY PREMISSION. Ran me around for 6 months and getting me to give them all this info only to be told no. a simple no right away would have been appriciated. For a company as large as Jim Gauthier it is pretty sad that they couldn't offer anything to help a "valued customer" with such a lifesaving, unique request. I would have been happy with anything, a cash donation to help pay for my service dog or even items or services I could auction off to raise money. In the end I got nothing. They got my 45,000+ dollars. Go with a dealership that may actually try to help customers on a personal level, not just ones who will ask for info and then say they donate to other causes not individuals. More

Once we finalized our deal, and I had paid for the vehicle, and taken delivery, I found that not all concerns were addressed. One call to my salesman, Larry Rode, and he referred me to a person in service. They booked me in and addressed the issue, and offered me a shuttle to and from work as well, with their apologies for the inconvenience. The repair was done free of charge, as I had hoped. All in all I am very happy with the experience. I was dreading calling back to get this addressed, but they handled it very professionally. More
