Terrible customer service. Everything is the customers fault I bought my 2013 Elantra in Nov 2012. They had me fill out a customer satisfaction survey within days of receiving my car, which was very smart on the I bought my 2013 Elantra in Nov 2012. They had me fill out a customer satisfaction survey within days of receiving my car, which was very smart on their part. From that day on it’s been nothing but problems and aggravation from the service department. For starters, my salesperson talked me into the rust preventing module. Within the first year of ownership I noticed a couple rust spots on the car. One on the front hood from an obvious stone chip, and one on the rear truck lid. I called the service department to arrange a scheduled oil change and mentioned I wanted them to take a look at it. Before even seeing the car, the guy on the phone said “we can look at it, but its probably not covered. We will have to take pictures, and send it off to the company and see ” I brought them the car, dropped it off at 9am with an understanding I’d have it back in a couple hours. At 4pm I called back to see what progress had been made and surprise my car was ready. When I got to the service desk a young guy handed my keys to me and said “all fixed”. I walked outside, looked over my car and absolutely nothing had been done. I walked back in, explained that nothing was fixed, and the same guy now knew nothing about why I was in for service. Another gentlemen told him to go outside and take pictures. I was not impressed, but decided I’d wait to hear about what would be done. Before I even got home I had a message saying that they were not covering the rust damage, because it was some type of rust that wasn’t covered? I called back and explained how the person who sold me on this module was promising me it would work, and if it didn’t I would be covered. The guy simply stated, “it goes to another company, and they’re not covering it.” My next service appointment was booked to swap my winter tires back to summer. I had to cancel that appointment the night before because my father passed away suddenly. I called in the middle of the night, left a message. I never heard back. I called weeks later to reschedule, and the guy laughingly said we’re booked for weeks. I changed the tires myself. This last service, they texted my phone 4 times asking me to call and book an overdue appointment. I booked the appointment for oil change and tire swap. They called me at 10am saying it would be around $200.00 for the service required. At 1pm they called back saying it would be $900.00 because of unexplained damage to the breaks, while still trying to sell me on a coolant flush. I asked how a car with 40,000 km would require a complete brake replacement, and they couldn’t give me an answer. They essentially blamed me, asking “did you drive with the parking break on?” When I went to pick up the car I asked to speak to the service manager. I explained that since the passing of my father, the vehicle had barely been driven and that I couldn’t understand this unexplainable break damage. He than said “it’s probably because the vehicle wasn’t driven.” I was shocked. I re-explained all of my previous frustrations, because he was new to the location. He came outside with me to look at the rust damage, and explained that I must have closed my truck on a rock- which chipped the paint causing the rust. He completely blamed everything on me, and gave explanations that made little to no sense. How does a rock get into the truck lid frame? How does not driving a car ruin the breaks? I told him to think about a resolution and get back to me. Four days later, still haven’t heard. I honestly believe I’ve been ripped off, and the service department at Hunt Club Hyundai think their clients are stupid. I would never suggest buying from them, and tell everyone who will listen to avoid this place. They’ll say whatever to get you in, but nothing to keep you happy. More

STOOD BEHIND THEIR WORD AND DELIVERED GREAT SERVICE I was extremely thankful for the great customer service. A mix up with the 4 extra tires that came with our purchase of our used Sonata, had me very I was extremely thankful for the great customer service. A mix up with the 4 extra tires that came with our purchase of our used Sonata, had me very worried about having to replace them for proper fitting winter tires. Both Hussein and Eli were very understanding and stood behind their word. The tires were replaced with 4 that fit, including rims. First car experience I have never had the opportunity to buy a vehicle before. I learned through their advertising that someone with a less than favourable credit rating m I have never had the opportunity to buy a vehicle before. I learned through their advertising that someone with a less than favourable credit rating may be able to buy a car. I went to the dealership without expecting any positive outcome. I met with one of the guys, Amin Omer, who walked the lot with me until we found something that might fit the bill, and the requirements that I first of all would like, and could afford. I was very frank with Amin about my past, and my previous credit position which didn't seem to phase him in the least. We found a vehicle that I thought I could afford, that would not require any repairs, as I would not have a great deal of money leftover to pay for any additional repairs should the need arise. He then introduced me to another gentlemen, Ahmed Mustapha, and i thought to myself, "oh know, here we go" Im being led down to the shark, the "master sales closer" to see if they could force me into buying something". I was very skeptical about the car buying business as you can see. Although when I got there, Ahmed was not what I was expecting at all. He was a very confident person to speak with, very reassuring, that if anybody could solve the problem of me not being able to buy a vehicle it would be him! I noticed also that he didn't seem to judge. I could sense by his confidence that this man was not new to the job and very capable. He was not phased by my previous background, and told me that if I leave it with him he will see what he can do. No promises. I can assure you I didn't make it very easy for him. He was very straight up about everything, very sincere. I was surprised by this. He then went to work over a period of about 2 weeks. Then as if in a crazy dream he sent me an email saying "good news". I thought there's no way, I'm dreaming. I never expected that this would ever be possible. Sure enough he had managed to secure the arrangements for me to buy the car that I had been looking at. The process so far had been very stress-free and relaxed, both Ahmed and Amin do not give you the feeling of being pressured, or afraid of the car buying experience, but they give you the feeling that they believe, they can help to put you into a car, at whatever your comfort level is, and that you feel confident that you can afford. Needless to say I went to the dealership yesterday, picked up an almost brand, Hyundai Sonata with very little effort. They had even arranged for the license plates for the car. I basically didn't have to do anything. I am very grateful for the real human effort they put into helping me through the process of buying a car, and for this, you can be sure that anybody I hear of that needs to buy a car new or used, they will be the first 2 guys on my mind to tell everybody about! I'm sure I cant be the first to want to tell everybody about these two gentlemen, as they are, very professional, compassionate about their work, and with an obvious confidence and enthusiasm, that they are genuinely interested in helping people with their car buying experience. That was the best experience I could imagine one could expect during a process that could have been very stressful, and or embarrassing to say the least! Thank you, Amin, and Ahmed very much! More
