Our recent experience was less than satisfactory. Our '22 Tucson Hybrid was in to check a message that kept popping up. After 2 hours the car was picked and THE PROBLEM WAS NOT RESOLVED. Enclosed with the work order was a set of instructions that told us how to go online to update the EGR logic/and update the ECU/HCU. WHAT A JOKE--WE WERE TO UPDATE THE LOGIC SYSTEM ON A NEW CAR. Called another Hyundai dealer who indicated that the statement was ridiculous and that they often get new clients as a result of this shoddy experience. We are a new client. Would not recommend More
I went in for an oil change and to get my second key fob programmed but when I left and got on the highway I realized I didn't have my key fob and I couldn't see it in the car so I called the dealership rig programmed but when I left and got on the highway I realized I didn't have my key fob and I couldn't see it in the car so I called the dealership right away I left a message with the service department telling them I was just there and they didn't give me the key fob and to call me back and they did not. I went back a month later and they had lost my key fob, or it was gone anyway and they told me that they gave it back to me and I was lying for saying that they didn't. They also called me a liar and said I did not call the dealership and leave a message. I called the dealer again and asked to speak to the dealer principal because I had a complaint about service department and of course they did not call me again. Hyundai Canada just agreed with whatever the dealership said and would not help me. Despite having 14 free oil changes still to go at the Steeler I will not be going there ever again. I did nothing wrong yet they called me a liar twice to my face. This is the worst customer experience I've ever had. This was my first Hyundai and it may be the last. More
I feel sorry for the staff working in the service department at Hyundai of Oakville because they have a system that works against them. Our air conditioner is broke. Got the car a year old in Janua department at Hyundai of Oakville because they have a system that works against them. Our air conditioner is broke. Got the car a year old in January and the first time we tried it, it didn't work and we were told 'we' did the damage to the compressor. Bull. So a week passes and they call to tell us they got the part needed. But the scheduling of the appointment is now 3 weeks away. Means we are unable to use the car for approximately 2 months while we await our appointment. This is just another feather in the cap of bad customer service of Hyundai of Oakville. Bought over 8 cars from them. Never used their service until this year. My mistake. Won't use service or buy another car from them ever again as a result of the bad experience. Not once have they offered an apology or even offered to assist in some additional service or price deduction even though there is no way to prove that we didn't buy the car with the broken air conditioning unit. Sad. I will be using the full weight of the media once I finally get my car back. More

Worse is that even with absolute frustration, they don't even throw you a bone and attempt to mitigate a cost or find something that would have you leave as a valued customer. Been going here for decades. Never again. If I could get rid of both of my Hyundai's as a result of what I experienced this year - I would. Beware! More

After two recalls I had to have my 2020 Kona engine replaced. I drove 5,000 kilometers with the engine light flashing the whole time. I was never offered a courtesy car during this time. I was told that it was safe to continue to drive the car even though the piston rings were defective and could have caused the engine to seize at any moment. It took 2 months for the engine to arrive. This Service Department, specifically Manager Jay Langton were the worst to deal with in all the years that I've owned Hyundai vehicles. I will never bring my vehicle back to this dealership again! I had to get the Service Manager from where I purchased the car involved to assist me in dealing with this Service Department. More
The absolute worst service department I have ever worked with. I came in last summer to get my AC fixed, they said I needed a new compressor. I brought the car back 3 times after that, paid close to $3000 in new parts + labour to find out it was a thermometer issue and the part was 46$. So after spending thousands and dealing with the WORST customer service (particularly the service manager) I will never service my car there again. Save your time and money and go to ANY other hyundai dealership in the GTA. More
I have purchased multiple vehicles from Hyundai of Oakville without issue. But the service department is not something that I would recommend. For my last car I bought the plan where I would use their dealership for oil jobs etc. But there is no way my car will see the inside of their service station again. More
I service my current car here and have always had exceptional service. Looking for a new car I decided to discuss my needs with a sales person here due to my positive service experience. What a disappointment - the sales person could not focus on my needs, kept looking around the sales floor for something or someone more interesting. I’m a serious buyer but will be looking elsewhere for my next vehicle. More
