Salesperson (Ediz) was fantastic! He was very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I don't think I got the best price, necessarily, but the car is great. i did feel pressured by the finance manager to buy the extended warranty, but supposedly it's refundable if not used.... we'll see. Overall, great experience. Ask for Ediz! More

Wife and I came by to this dealership knowing we are going to buy a car, but not truly sure if this brand is our pick from all the other choices we have.... i.e. toyota, hyundai & subaru. but Ediz's approached us with a calm, courteous and professional demeanour, that enticed us to further check out the cars at this dealership. he's very knowledgeable and answered all our questions with great confidence. he's got a welcoming approach, without any aggression that will annoy you. Sayid Kaddage also made a huge impact in our decision to purchase from here. A truly no stress, hassle free experience coming to this dealership..... A definite recommendation! More

While I really like my new Leaf, If Nissan Canada gives out a 'Most Incompetent Customer Service' award I would like to nominate Hunt Club Nissan. While I really like my new Leaf, I fully intend to not return to the location I leased it from until I return the vehicle in four years. I'll have my service done at a different location. I specifically opted to go to Hunt Club Nissan because it had the best customer reviews of the local dealerships and I will go out of my way to shop at businesses which provide high quality service. I encountered a lack of coordination, poor communication, slow service and poorly trained staff throughout my vehicle purchase as well as an overall attitude of 'it's not my responsibility' that came up repeatedly. I called ahead to make an appointment to see and test drive the Leaf. Upon my arrival the person I had the appointment with was busy with other clients and I was passes off to another salesperson. The test drive went fine. When we returned to the dealership the salesperson (I might as well be saying salesman, the only women I saw working at the dealership were in reception) relied entirely on the website to tell me about the features. He wasn't able to answer any questions about financing since that was someone else's responsibility. He was also not able to let me know how long it would take to source the model I wanted (there were three Leafs on the lot but I didn't want leather seats in my environmentally responsible car) since sourcing vehicles was also not his responsibility (I never did find out exactly what was his responsibility). When I spoke to someone in financing regarding what the price was for the car the price I was given was significantly higher than what was indicated on the website. Nissan.ca prefers to calculate the price without the taxes as if they aren't part of the cost (This is a Nissan Canada issue though, not this particular dealership). When I questioned the price that I was given the attitude of the individuals in the financing department and the salesman, rather than being helpful and informative immediately, became slightly condescending, with the underlying tone being that I couldn't afford the car. I found this somewhat offensive and completely inappropriate. I wasn't saying that the car cost too much, I was pointing out a significant discrepancy between the price I had seen listed and the price I was being quoted, something which I would always question. When I asked about any additional costs at the closing out of the lease I was told that there were extra fees if I went over the specified mileage or if the tires were heavily worn but that was all. I later found out that that there are almost always additional fees for any cosmetic damage to the vehicle (nicks, scratches, any damage to the upholstery etc.) so I was essentially lied to by the sales staff regarding this. That evening I did some more research and emailed the salesman to let him know that I had decided to go ahead with the purchase and with my model and colour choice. I called the next day to confirm an appointment for me to come in and do the paperwork. Again, the staff seemed under trained when it came to completing anything other than the basic form (I had repeatedly asked what would be required to process a lease through my company and if there was specific paperwork I would need to bring). I was not given clear answers by the sales or financing people regarding the requirements and it took actually submitting an incomplete form to finally get a firm answer that, until I had been in business for three years I would not be able to lease the vehicle through the company. A simple answer which the financing department should have been able to provide me with, rather than two visits to the dealership to meet with the financing department. I also had to call in to find out what the answer was, the financing officer didn't bother calling me to let me know. Only after this week-long process was complete (I ended up leasing the car personally) was the process of sourcing a vehicle even started (I had been clear throughout that if the financing couldn't be completed through the business I would still be leasing it personally). A vehicle was finally sourced in Toronto (again, I had to phone in to find this out, I was not called) and I was told that arrangements had been made to have it delivered to Ottawa. I assumed that this would take a week or less. I was, of course, wrong again, it took two full weeks for the car to be delivered and prepared. I was repeatedly told 'It's coming from Toronto' as if that was a great distance to transport a vehicle. Even after the vehicle was finally here in Ottawa the problems continued. I was repeatedly assured that the car would come with green plates (this was even brought up during the test drive) and I was told or asked about the green plates at least four times during the process, including during the call from the person who was actually processing the paperwork. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle it did not have green plates. It also had an obvious dent in the trim which had not been noted on the paperwork until I pointed it out. The staff neglected to provide me with the photocopy I specifically asked them to make for me of the insurance information (he put it in his folder, not mine, meaning that I left the lot without proof of insurance) and he forgot to ask me for the void cheque for setting up the automatic withdrawals (I reminded him). With all of the errors and delays (the whole process took three weeks) I finally had my new car. And then I opened my mail today, nearly a month after the fact: Nissan Canada Finance never received my proof of insurance and they need me to provide it to them as soon as possible. How the vehicle license was issued without the proof of insurance being provided I have no idea but it sounds like I drove off of the lot without a properly insured vehicle. The sheer level of incompetence in this whole process has been stunning. There was nothing particularly exceptional in my vehicle purchase. I took a test drive, selected a model and colour, applied for financing and picked my car up. This is what is involved in almost every vehicle purchase and yet the staff was not able to handle this smoothly or efficiently or even competently. This seems to be a systemic failure, rather than one particular individual which indicated to me that the underlying problem exists in the culture and training, rather than particular staff members. No one seemed to have a sense of responsibility for the process, it was piecemeal, poorly coordinated and communication was sporadic and frustrating. As one of the early adopters in the electric car market I am frequently approached by people who are curious about my car. I've been very happy with it so far and have been telling lots of people about the car. I have also been telling them about my experience with the service at the dealership and advising them to purchase one elsewhere. I was both frustrated and disappointed and I would not refer this location to other potential customers. Sincerely, Sundaura Alford More
Be very careful you could end up with nothing! I had the worst experience imaginable at this dealership, I found I car I liked traded in my old car, and signed for the new one. Upon deliver the sal I had the worst experience imaginable at this dealership, I found I car I liked traded in my old car, and signed for the new one. Upon deliver the sales guy tried to tell me “it is a used car” when the bumper was dented and the scratched badly in many places. On a two year old altima for, $21, 000 you can’t fix the bumper? The manager solved the problem. Then a month later, a month! I found out the financing didn’t go through. They could not finance that amount at that rate through Nissan, it was over extended. I felt controlled, like they were trying to get my to sign a new contract at a higher interest rate once I had no choice since I had already signed the first contact and was driving the car. The financing manager tried the lower the principal of the car, but that just means I was taken advantage of on the price in the first place. Be very careful with the financing contracts, look at everything! In the end I didn’t want to do business there, the old contract was void since they couldn’t meet the terms agreed to on it, I wanted my original car and to walk away. The dealership had sold my car, they sold my car before the paperwork was final, before the lien was paid, before the contract was filled or before I was approved for financing. I don’t have my original car because they sold it, I would never buy a car through them, so now I am taking the bus until I can buy a car because Hunt Club Nissan is so backwards. We agreed they would pay the lien on my original car since they could not return it to me, and I return the altima since I did not trust them to finance my car. For the first time in over ten years I am left with no car of any kind. Terrible horrible experience, they are the classic car dealership that will take you for everything, be careful! More

One o I was shopping around for a sports car (I've wanted one for quite some time)... had many different models in mind from different manufacturers. One of those was a 370Z. Walked into the showroom and the salesperson did a good job of explaining all the features of the car. Took me on a test-drive and was very patient and understanding (I hadn't driven a manual in quite some time). When it came time to negotiate, he was very motivated to ensuring that I was getting a good deal on the car. No haggling, no fuss, just the price I wanted to pay. More

I had initially had my heart set on a Micra, but Jorge gave me another option (Versa Note) that was within my price range and it ended up fitting my needs better anyway. I am still completely happy with my purchase and overall experience, even now, a week after picking up my car! I would definitely recommend this dealership and any of the employees that I dealt with :) More

The vehicle we selected had to be special ordered from the factory but we didn't mind the wait and the Pathfinder arrived after the bad winter weather (we ordered in Feb. and it arrived in May - perfect timing for us!). The vehicle arrived exactly as optioned and in pristine condition. I subsequently questioned the fact that it didn't come with the 6 CD changer but Conner explained that that option was only available in the base "S" model strangely enough!! Conner and I both agreed that it should have been standard in the higher level models such as my "SL". Furthermore the (Brochure) claimed mileage of 30 mpg is in fact proving to be more like 21 mpg!! However I'm enjoying the vehicle otherwise and would recommend dealing with Hunt Club Nissan and particularly Conner and David in the purchase of a new vehicle.hjj More
Impressed once again with this dealership! I've had my Versa Note for a week now, and had my first experience dealing with the Parts Department (picking up floor mats). Kiel was very courteous, I've had my Versa Note for a week now, and had my first experience dealing with the Parts Department (picking up floor mats). Kiel was very courteous, friendly and professional. I mentioned to him a minor concern I had with my vehicle, to which he looked at immediately. Joe, my salesman, gave me a follow-up call to make sure I was happy with my vehicle. He goes out of his way for you, and makes you feel part of the Nissan family. I have already recommended this dealership to my friends & work colleagues. Marc P More
