Went above and beyond to ensure a great buying experience! We stopped in as we were looking at getting a new car. We landed on the 2016 Fit LX being the best match for what we needed. Through the whole process we felt that Hussein was there to keep us informed, we didn't feel pressured, and felt comfortable reaching out with any questions we had. We had a few interactions back and forth and in the end felt that we were given a good deal on the car so we went ahead. During the signing off process we had lots of questions about the contract and numbers and what it all means. Hussein was patient and friendly the whole time (it couldn't have been easy bahaha ;oP ). He had another member of the team help us with questions he wasn't 100% sure of the answers to, and ultimately it was a positive experience. When we went out to get the car we had questions about the tinting on the car and were a bit unhappy with the outcome. It was the end of the day and we were asked to reach out to another of their team members to follow up and see what they could do. Busy life kicked in and two days later after not having time to reach out, we had a voicemail left by Hussein following up as he wanted to make sure that everything is ok and that we're happy, and that he's taken steps to put things in place to get the issue corrected asap. We just finalized everything today and are very happy not only with the outcome but how we were treated and handled. We would recommend Hunt Club Honda and Hussein to anybody looking to get into a Honda! Way to go guys and thank you for your patience and professionalism Chris More
Worst Dealership and Service I've Eperienced in 30 Years Although I've been driving and owned many cars for over 30 years, this is the first time I ever submitted a complaint or online review of a car dealer Although I've been driving and owned many cars for over 30 years, this is the first time I ever submitted a complaint or online review of a car dealership or any business for that matter. I never thought it was possible for a car dealership and their service department to be so bad and treat their customers in such a terrible way. My 2013 Honda Civic suddenly would not start and it appeared to be an electrical issue as it was working fine shortly beforehand. The battery appeared to be good and the car did not have that much millage, so probably not the alternator either. As the car broke down in the Hunt Club area, I had the tow truck drop my vehicle off at the nearby Hunt Club Honda dealership in Ottawa. The service department was not open so I filled out the overnight drop off form with my keys and was contacted the following morning by a service member (Mr. James Ringwald), where he was given formal permission to go ahead and diagnose the problem. I was contacted much later in the day by Mr. Ringwald who informed me that it appears to be an electrical problem (as I told them) and that he will have two of his top senior mechanics on it first thing in the morning. He also stated that I very was lucky as it was "Double Up Day" tomorrow, meaning I will have two of his most experienced mechanics on it for the price of one (the B.S. from his mouth was so thick, I thought he was going to offer me a sky hook or a glass hammer next). As I did not hear from him the following morning, I called Mr. Ringwald in the afternoon, I was told they were very busy with summer tires and they will get to it shortly. I dropped by the service department a few hours later with my ride to get an update or pick up the car as I was assured it would be ready by now only to have Mr. Ringwald ignore my presence. I was then passed on to his supervisor only to be told that they gave up trying to figure out why the car won't start and they have many summer tires to change and brakes to fix and that was very important to them. I was then passed on to the service manager (Mr. Jean-Marc Charlebois) who told me to take the car and leave as they were very busy with summer tires and they could not figure out what was wrong with it. It was obvious they are more of a tire and brake shop and get confused very quickly with any vehicle mechanical issues. The incident was then reported to the vehicle sales manager (Mr. Steve Ounarom) and a voice message left with the dealerships owner (Mr. Paul Sytema) in case he wanted to know what was happening at his dealership. Mr. Sytema never returned my call and from reading other complaints from this dealerships, this appears to be the norm. STAY AWAY FROM HUNT CLUB HONDA IN OTTAWA., I WENT THERE BECAUSE MY CAR BROKE DOWN NEARBY AND I DID NOT KNOW HOW BAD THEY WERE... If I could submit a rating lower than 1 star I would, as Hunt Club Honda wasted my time and left me stranded in their parking lot. I've owned many Honda vehicles over the years and I've never been treated like that from any other Honda dealerships in the past or with any business for that matter. Hussein was fantastic and very helpful when picking out her new car. I expected the same experience from Huntclub Honda on my visit and did not get it. I recently bought a used car from Hunt Club Honda. I needed a car very quickly and did try to negotiate a better deal. The salesman was not going to budge nor throw in any perks like winter tires. I accepted that my negotiating tactics are not great and bought the car regardless as it was in good shape and the price range I wanted. The day I picked up the vehicle, it was washed on the outside, but the interior was not not clean. I also noticed that the oil was at %70 and the windshield washer fluid was low. Perhaps I am new to buying cars and my expectations are high, but I would have thought the car would have at least had the interiors washed as promised by the salesman and little details like the oil and washer fluid topped up. Its not much to ask if you are forking over 13k on a used car. The places we shop from on a regular basis leave a lasting impression that makes us want to continue doing business w/ them and telling others of the exceptional service. I did not get a friendly vibe when purchasing from Hunt Club Honda and felt a little used after my purchase. I will certainly be shopping at another Honda deal when it comes time to purchase my next car. More

My car was still under warranty ( an extended warranty on a used car) which I had not realized was still valid. We appreciate him noticing this as I might not have chosen to have the full repair done. My husband and I have been most pleased with the quality and sincerity that we have experienced at Hunt Club Honda in the Service Department! We are very aware that all dealerships are not created equal!! We look forward to a continued relationship with the professional and courteous staff in the Service Department at Hunt Club Honda! Now I'm left with a vehicle that is defective and they refused to change the vehicle,the manager and staff at hunt club Honda has poor customer service and people skills and take a addvantage of woman custermer and people of different Ethnicity. I we'll never recommended this dealerships please don't buy any Vehicle from Huntclub Honda ever. More

When returned for recall issue, was fixed with no problem. Shuttle brought me to and from work (not quick, but was reasonable and expected given one shuttle for whole town.) Was able to discuss payment options and some discount due to long-time customer and was able to proceed with major repair. They were helpful, accommodating and personable. Great customer service and support throughout all aspects and repairs. Definitely recommend. More
Safety recall work I received a notice in the mail about a faulty airbag inflator on my Civic that needed to be replaced due to a safety recall. Just as a precaution, I asked them to be careful with the wires for recently-installed fog lights that run behind the glove box, near the passenger airbag (which was the faulty one). The service guy then said that if they have to do extra work and move wires, they would charge me for it, because, apparently, they are only being paid to do the recall work and change the airbag inflator. Well, excuse me, but I installed these fog lights not knowing that I'd later have to bring the car in for recall work (to eliminate a major safety issue). It is not my problem that the airbag inflator is defective (by Honda's own admission) and could send chunks of metal in my face, causing injury to or killing me or my passenger. The wires ended up not causing any issues, and the work WAS done free of charge. This is a matter of principle, though, and it would be expected for them to foot the entire bill no matter how they'd have to get to the faulty part. They should never have brought up the issue of charging me if it was "too much work". If they had charged me, I would have both sued in Small Claims Court to recover the money and gone to the press about it to make it known. A customer must never be forced to pay for recall work under any circumstances. This left me less than impressed with this dealership -- please take this as a warning when taking your car there. I think I will be informing Honda Canada about this practice, as well. More

It is very apparent that there is a major lack of communication and organization amongst ALL employee at this dealership (sales and servicing department). After a very long month of extremely frustrating dealings with this establishment and unresolved issues, I voiced my concerns to higher authority. I was directed to the general sales manager who assured me he would deal with my concerns and get in touch with me. This was one and half month ago and he still hasn't gotten in contact with me... probably forgot about me or can't be bothered to take care of a dissatisfied customer. Save yourself some trouble and go elsewhere. More
