Rip off Scam artists $505.00 for an Oil Change Brought my vehicle in because it had a check engine light issue.Keep in mind that I had just had an oil change done a few weeks ago.Service manager ca Brought my vehicle in because it had a check engine light issue.Keep in mind that I had just had an oil change done a few weeks ago.Service manager calls me and says your oil is black and its overfilled? Hmm really? So from there he tells me thats why your light is on. LAUGHTER. He then proceeds to tell me they must remove my valve cover . Why? I asked.What does a check engine light have to do with the valve cover.. Proceeds to inform that they have to remove it to fix check engine light. I ok'd the process.I then get a call telling me that they have to partialy disasemble the engine telling me theres a problem with my timing chain. Please note that my vehicle only has 39000kms on it. So at this point I know this jerk thinks that I am stupid or something and I know hes taking me for a ride. I tell him to stop working on my car. The end result with Lakeshore Honda is I still have a check engine light on and they charged me $505.00 dollars for an oil change that never needed one in the first place. Shame on you Lakeshore Honda-never again . More
Extremely unprofessional and rude behaviour from sales I bought a car from this dealership brand new in the past so I am not new here. I went in to test drive a car and went to a salesperson that was reco I bought a car from this dealership brand new in the past so I am not new here. I went in to test drive a car and went to a salesperson that was recommended to me Silvio Chylinski. I told Silvio I would like to drive a CRV and was there with my parents as well to get a secondary opinion of what they thought of the car. I asked Silvio if my mom could sit in the front as she had an accident last year and is partly disabled. Silvio didn't let her sit in the front, instead asked her to sit in the back and sat in the front with me. During the test drive he kept talking non stop, I couldn't even concentrate or focus on testing the car. He asked me what I was cross shopping and I told him a bunch of cars, and then he started to bash them one by one, analyzing them without much knowledge etc. I told him that since I am a return customer, I expect a good deal if I get a CRV, to which he seemed extremely offended by. I told him that I like to cross shop a few dealerships to see what kind of prices I get, and he went on a whole speech about how people like me aren't good, why dealerships don't want that kind of customer, and that he is here, letting me test drive a car, providing a professional service and courtesy. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by letting me test drive a CRV. I told him that any dealership in Canada would let me test drive a car if I was interested in buying it, I think that's the whole point when buying a vehicle worth $ 40,000. In any case, he kept babbling on about prices etc, and towards the last 5 minutes of the test drive we just all sat in silence shocked at what just transpired. It was that awkward silence you would experience with anyone after getting into an argument, me and my family couldn't wait for the test drive to end. I'm shocked at how rude his behavior was towards me and my family, giving me a rude speech and making me feel bad that I want the best price possible. I will definitely never buy anything from him ever again, and I wouldn't recommend anyone dealing with a crazed maniac like him. It's terrible as this is my local dealer and owned by Marino Group which owns Hyundai, Subaru, and a few other dealers, and I wanted to be a return customer, but now even the thought of doing business with Marino Auto Group in general leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I can't imagine why they would keep someone Silvio working there. Never again. More
Forced to lease after second thought We are never going to deal with Lakeshore Honda again, we had been a loyal customer leasing two Pilots . We had hoped to back out of a lease but apparently it was too late so we opted for a cheaper vehicle, we expected some leniency but they basically made us sign into a deal. We can return the car to any Honda dealer when the time comes so we will and hopefully deal with better sales people. More
Rude and old school tactics Very rude salespeople. They would lie through their teeth to prove a point and if they got caught would attempt to use another lie to cover it up. Very rude salespeople. He wouldn't allow me to have vehicle inspected, he insulted me and insinuated I was a fool. I will NEVER do business with this dealership and I will make sure nobody that I know does either. There are plenty of professional, courteous people who would be happy to get our business. Shame on you Allen! More

Cameron, my salesman was great and went out of his way to make my Honda experience complete. Although I encountered a couple minor bumps in the road before the transaction was final and complete (which is commonplace with many new vehicle purchases), Cameron and the Lakeshore Service department were patient and understanding. Awesome Service Department and a very attentive Salesperson! Last Honda I owned was a 1986 Accord EXI which was one of the most reliable vehicles I ever owned. I hope my new 2017 Accord Touring is even better than the 1986 model that is older than Cameron. More

When I asked, he lied by saying they brought it in from Brampton, when it was really driven all the way in and from Bratford (based on in-car history app). When I asked for a reconciliation of this, he offered a mere oil change with no apology. His manager did not return my call. Would not recommend the dealership or even the Honda brand who refused to do anything about this situation when I called them. My first and last Honda. More
