Don't waste your time!!! Worst Customer Service Ever!!! SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY FRIEND AND ALL THE BAD REVIEWS!! I ask Alexandros Tsolos ("Service Consultant"), if he could give my car a diagnostic an SHOULD HAVE LISTENED TO MY FRIEND AND ALL THE BAD REVIEWS!! I ask Alexandros Tsolos ("Service Consultant"), if he could give my car a diagnostic and he says "We don't look for problems that aren't there". I brought my car in because it was making an intermittent sound around the water pump and it hadn't happened in 2 days, so I take it there to see if they could identify the sound as it's happening. Alexandros didn't even attempt to get a mechanic, or technician to take a listen. Instead he talked (for way too long for that early in the A.M in my opinion) about how I needed to book an appointment because "We don't have technicians just standing around". To make a long story short I then drove it to TORONTO HONDA on the DANFORTH. With NO APPOINTMENT lol, the very professional and courteous staff took my car in, gave me a diagnostic, narrowed down my car's noise issue, changed my oil, informed me of an airbag recall and replaced mine for me, found additional issues and scheduled my repairs. All of this while my friend and I waited in a very comfortable area made for customers, complete with flat screens, new 2017-18 Honda models and coffee (not much of a coffee drinker but I had a cup). Downtown Honda is closer my house but I'll gladly drive the extra 10 mins to Toronto Honda. Way more class and very informative. Thanks for your exceptional customer service. Our sales person was Mohammad Zilani he was very helpful and courteous. Zilani did a great job to find the right car for us. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Great Service Manager, Amazing Experience at Honda Downtown! I honestly have to say that I am extremely impressed and happy with the service I received at Honda Downtown and I have never received the same level I honestly have to say that I am extremely impressed and happy with the service I received at Honda Downtown and I have never received the same level of service anywhere else. I was having an ongoing issue with a noise coming from the front dash of my 2016 Honda Civic and was at first disappointed with how difficult of a time the dealership was having in finding the root cause. Once Mario, the service manager, found out about my frustrations with the vehicle he took it upon himself and one of the supervisors to keep my car and work on finding the issue and fixing it once and for all. The two of them worked on it for days, treating the vehicle as if it were their own and Mario would provide me with updates the entire time. Mario made a point of not giving the vehicle back until it was completely fixed and the noise was gone for good. They fixed the problem and Mario called me a few weeks later to make sure I was still completely satisfied. I could not have asked for better service and I am so impressed with Mario and his team's efforts. Thank you so much! More
Abysmal experience! I found a few used 2016 Dodge Durangos on the Autotrader app. Downtown Honda advertised among other colours, 2 blue and one grey. It was apparent from the pictures they posted that all aforementioned vehicles had a tow package, however when I called the dealership, I was told that they did not. I initially spoke to Duncan Stalker on Friday and told him that we'd come down from Peterborough likely on Monday to see the vehicles. We arrived at the dealership on Monday around 10:30 am only to find out that the Autotrader ads weren't correct and that there were no blue Durangos. They did have 2 grey ones, both of which were equipped with the already mentioned tow package. The sales rep. was trying to tell me that even though they have the tow package, the vehicle would have to be upgraded to a transmission with a special cooler, wow, he really shouldn't be selling cars...Anyway, I've asked him about the front bumper black bottom lip as it wasn't properly attached on the passenger side, his answer was "it's a used vehicle", okay it is, but you're asking $40.000.00 Dollars for it, plus whoever took the Autotrader pictures never noticed that the lip was barely hanging on to the bumper by its middle part hence the reason for me taking a double look at it. So, off for a test drive we go, well if you can call it that. It took about 7 minutes, I drove the vehicle probably for 3 minutes on the DVP and just about noticed a humming noise, Stalker said "it's just a wind noise" I was then directed to get off the highway as we were nearing the end of the dealer authorized test drive.I explained the sales rep. that I'm not going to purchase a vehicle I drove for about 5 mins and have a suspicion that there maybe an issue of some sort. We arrived back at the dealership and he kept looking at me like a deer into a headlight, I was hoping that he'd offer to ask his boss if a longer test drive could be authorized, well was I ever wrong, he'd just send me on my way. I asked him whether he wants to sell the vehicle or if he's there just because, well he didn't answer. I then asked him to go and speak to his manager and eventually second test drive was orchestrated. There is a reason you need a proper test drive, while back on DVP I noticed that humming sound again, it was a faulty driver's side wheel bearing, this very slight noise was acknowledged by the sales rep. Once back at the dealership I explained that I'd put in an offer at around $900 Dollars below asking if the bearing issue was addressed. We then left and agreed to communicate via email. At around 5pm on the same day I emailed the sales rep inquiring whether he checked with his boss and got a reply stating that they'll not decrease the price, nor will they address the faulty bearing, stating that it's not a safety issue. No it's not at this point, but it's a start of one and they were made aware of such, but declined to address it! I've purchased few cars in my time, but this was the worst experience in my life. We really liked the vehicle and hoped to either have the bearing issue addressed by the dealer or drop the price down by few hundred dollars and address it ourselves. But the arrogant approach by the sales rep was hard to believe! Don't get me wrong, I'm not a chronic complainer, nor had I ever wrote anything this long and negative, but this experience definitely deserves it! I will never in my life step into that dealership, and do not recommend anyone else to go there either, if you must, stay clear from this sales rep. I'm sure that they'll sell the vehicle in no time, however the new buyer will be addressing an issue that was brought to the dealerships attention by another customer, but they chose to ignore it because they have plenty other victims that simply don't know enough about cars or don't care. Well I do care about how I spend my 40 grand, and maybe the less than 30 year old sales rep should think about that for a moment before treating customers as if they bother him. More
HONDA 2015 (XXXXXXX) MODEL VERY BAD EXPERIENCE BROUGHT A CERTIFIED USED 2015 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN ,IT WAS STATED THAT IT WAS HONDA CERTIFIED AND ALL CHECKS DONE EXCELLENT CONDITION.BUT IN REALITY TH BROUGHT A CERTIFIED USED 2015 HONDA ACCORD SEDAN ,IT WAS STATED THAT IT WAS HONDA CERTIFIED AND ALL CHECKS DONE EXCELLENT CONDITION.BUT IN REALITY THE DEALERSHIP HIDE LOTS OF DETAILS AND ISSUES WITH THE CAR. HAVE TO GIVE IT BACK FOR SERVICE TO GET RID OF VERY NOISY RIDE QUALITY AND BUMPY FEEL. IT WAS VERY HARD TO MAKE THEN UNDERSTAND ( I GUESS THEIR WERE PRETENDING TO BE IGNORANT) THE ISSUE WITH THE CAR. I DROVE THEM AROUND FIRST THE TECHNICIAN, THEN SALE REP, THEN SALES MANAGER. THEN ONCE I GOT THE CAR BACK FROM THE DEALERSHIP AFTER SERVICE MY LED HIGH BEAM LIGHTS AND FOG LAMPS WERE REPLACED WITH A STANDARD AMBER COLOR LIGHTS. GOT THIS AGAIN TO THE NOTICE OF MANAGEMENT AND AGAIN COMPLETE DENIAL OF THE FACT. AND IN FACT THE TECHNICIAN STATED ITS ILLEGAL TO HAVE LED WHIT LIGHTS (SILLY). AND THEN AFTER FEW DAYS I MET PERSON WHO WAS SELLING LIGHTS FOR CARS VIA KIJIJI WHO SAID TO ME THAT HE GETS STUFF FROM HONDA AND HE HAS A FRIEND FROM HONDA DOWNTOWN , THAT COMPLETES THE CIRCLE. The preowned sales associate moe and preowned sales manager Rick are probably the worst Ppl to go to. If they can do this to a employees family imagine what will they do to others.
