Scam artists I would avoid this place if you can. The salesperson I dealt with (Simon Dai) and the branch's finance manager both lied to my face when they told me I would avoid this place if you can. The salesperson I dealt with (Simon Dai) and the branch's finance manager both lied to my face when they told me that the Customer Vehicle Protection (CVP) is a mandatory $490 fee on all new car purchases (it is not). I later found out that two other people who I know were told the same thing when they bought their car here. When I tried to get some answers from the sales manager (Paul MacDonald), he did not respond to my emails after close to a week. I ended up having to speak with the General Manager (Sargon Benjamin), who was not all that helpful. The dealership was not able to deliver my car by the date that we agreed to (they had 24 days and still could not get it), and so I finally took my deposit back and went to another Honda dealership. In summary, not a great experience. More
Positive Pre-Owned Experience I would like to share my fantastic experience with Fred at Honda Downtown. I purchased a Volvo for my Mom in October 2015. Fred was patient and extrem I would like to share my fantastic experience with Fred at Honda Downtown. I purchased a Volvo for my Mom in October 2015. Fred was patient and extremely obliging and made the entire transaction effortless. Fred went out of his way to take SO MANY photos and answer all my questions happily. I have purchased 6 cars (yes 6 LOL) within the past year, I have quite a bit of experience with different Dealerships across Ontario (and different Brands). They treated us with respect and honesty. Even though this was not a new Volvo, we were not treated any differently than someone buying a new car. Fred even picked me up at the Greyhound, since I would be the one driving her car back to our City. Fred made it well worth travelling for the car. I would highly recommend him! I only have experience with the Sales Department, which was outstanding service. His Manager was so welcoming as well. When I would call, the Receptionist working was very kind. No hint of rudeness, sadly like many Dealerships I have encountered in the past. Jane More

They examined the car and found that two of the doors had been repainted. I was told by Simon Dai (sales person) that Honda dealership would have to let me know if there was any damage to my vehicle. I did point out little bumps in the paint to Mario (service manager)when I purchased the car, but he assured me that it was normal on new vehicles, and that it happens at the Honda factory. I never knew dealerships could paint new vehicles, and detail a vehicle to hide all the damage when you pick it up. This seems so crooked. Do not trust anyone at this dealership. I do not know why the media hasn't warned consumers about what dealers are hiding when you pick up new cars. We hardly looked over the car when we picked it up, because we were purchasing a new car not second hand. Hopefully others will learn from our experience. More
