BEWATE of deceptive and manipulative negotiation tactics I bought a car from this dealership 4 years ago. Went back this past weekend to lease 2 more cars and, saying that the experience was horrible would I bought a car from this dealership 4 years ago. Went back this past weekend to lease 2 more cars and, saying that the experience was horrible would be an understatement. If you do decide to do business with them, read on so you know what to watch out for... When you arrive, the dealership is rundown, messy and a little dirty. They don't pay any attention to the space and this is done on purpose to create a hostile ambiance. Since the moment you walk in, the intent is to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible so you will agree to their terms just to get out of there as fast as possible... When we entered the place nobody approached us in the first 10 minutes, so we approached ones of the salespeople --her name is Eva. Here are some examples of the tactics they used with us and that you should watch out for:: 1. The sales desks are facing the wall and you have to sit in a very small and constricted space in an old and broken chair --it is physically uncomfortable. 2. Once you're ready to make an offer, they will ask you to "sign" it --do not! Once you've signed a couple of times, it gets a lot easier psychologically, so they're expecting you to get through the lease or purchase document (the only document that will actually matters) reading as little as possible; 3. When you make an offer, they will also ask for your credit card --do not give it to them! This, again, is another cheap psychological trick that intends to make it more difficult for you to walk away. Once you've given your personal information, you've made a commitment in your mind. 4. After we placed our offer (without signing or giving Eva our credit card), she made us wait for at least 25 minutes. When she finally came back, she said we had to put a better offer on the table before she could put a number down (her intent was to get us to negotiate against ourselves). 4. We asked for a manager and a guy named Enrique said he was the manager --we later discovered he wasn't. He proceeded moved us to a very messy office and shuffled papers around for 15 minutes until the real manager, called Marco, showed up. 5. Marco is a textbook bully. Despite his young age, he's condescending, insulting and tried (unsuccessfully) to use his "position of power" to push you into his game and get your to pay as much as possible. What's more worrisome is that his competitive nature will fool him into making the relationship zerp-sum and he never wants to lose, so he will say and do whatever it takes to "win". Overall, this place should be shut-down for its shady practices and how they treat their customers. If you decide to go in, be ready for an adventure in negotiations! More

great experience I went in to High Park Nissan just to check it out because I was already decided for a lease take over found on a Lease Busters site. I met with Nick and Bojan and within 30 min. we had a deal done. I was offered a better deal on a brand new Murano with my choice of exterior/ interior colors. A week and a half later I'm already driving a very nice car. Nick and Bojan were very professional, friendly, responding in time to all my inquiries and answering all my questions. Boycott at all costs!! Botcott at all costs!!! Highpark nissan is a scam!!! Got my airbag lights on my dasher fixed there. They told me it was my passenger seat that had to Botcott at all costs!!! Highpark nissan is a scam!!! Got my airbag lights on my dasher fixed there. They told me it was my passenger seat that had to be replaced at a cost of $2000. Replaced it and the airbag light is still on. Turns out they diagnosis it wrong, it was a seat belt strap which had a lifetime warranty on it. Now they won't refund or take out the new passenger seat for a refund! " DO NOT TRUST" your car there! Michael Clarke, the service advisor is a liar and so is the parts manager Bradley Sawh accusing me of lying so they can cover their xxxxx for their wrong assessment of my airbag lights. Mark Robinson, the service manager doesn't know what he's doing!! saying that they didn't know what to do with the problem and told me that he needed to bring a nissan engineer to look at the problem!! Went to another nissan dealership and they say they do not such thing!! Only wanted to scam more money from me!! The worst is the VP of Operations there, John Gionnas! Shoving all the blame on me and didn't even want to hear my side of the story. He came to his own concussion by listening to the lies his his service department!! Lastly, the mechanic scratched and gouged my passenger side dashboard board when installing the new passenger seat that I didn't need and refuses to fix the problem. John Gionnas is not even replying to my emails asking to fix this problem!! No professionalism at all and no customer service at Highpark nissan!! If I were you i would boycott highpark nissan at all costs and willowdale nissan too as John Gionnas works there too! Do not let them sell your hard earned money!! More

Upon arrival, the salesperson who I contacted took us into his cubicle and proceeded to collect all of our information, then he informed us that the vehicle we came to look at was SOLD. These inconsiderate people did not do us the courtesy of informing us the vehicle was gone before we drove an hour to this dealership. We walked straight out the door. Will never buy anything from them if this is how they treat customers. More

Liars False Rude Missleading Crooks Incompetence Unprofessional If I can save anyone grief I would say if you like the Nissan product go elsewhere and stay clear from high park Nissan. A brief explanation picked a car out got hit with extra fees hidden fees price came in nearly 2000 dollars more they also misplaced my deposit cheque they also could not deliver on the primary or secondary colours I had picked out than had to wait two weeks after the delivery date with a loner car from this very dealership that was filthy both in and out along with a fuel lite reminding me that there was no fuel in the car..... When the car did arrive they did not give me the winters tires as this was a winter promo the car was also dirty and had nearly 100 km on the odometer ....and don't get your oil changes done at high park they fail to fasten the oil pin properly And to close when asking questions they seem to duck or point the blame elsewhere and redirect you in my opinion the worst shopping experience and the worst dealership More
My New Murano!!!!! I have been looking for a 2016 Murano SL AWD for a while. I have been to 401 Dixie Nissan, Willowdale Nissan, Avenue Nissan. I got pricing from all of I have been looking for a 2016 Murano SL AWD for a while. I have been to 401 Dixie Nissan, Willowdale Nissan, Avenue Nissan. I got pricing from all of them very similar numbers wise (48Month Lease). I was at my mother in laws house she just purchased a 2016 Nissan Micra from "High Park Nissan" and she dealt with Stephanie (Sales Person) and John Zarkos the Sales Manager there and I have to admit my Mother in law isn't a easy lady to deal with. She was really impressed with Stephanie and John's services. The Sales Manager John gave her all his contact info if she had any questions to contact him personally, He also gave her a loaner car until she picked up her New Micra! Free of charge. No other dealership even offered her that, So I went in last Saturday with my mother in law and met with Stephanie and John came over and spoke to my mother in law and then he brought us in his office I told him what I wanted and he beat everyone's price and I can honestly say I never received such top notch customer service before while purchasing a vehicle and out of all places I came to a Nissan Dealership and received top notch customer service. Stephanie I appreciate all your help, John I also want to thank you for going above and beyond and thanks for taking time out of your busy day to sit with me and make this deal happen. I will refer anyone and everyone I know looking for a Nissan to go to HIGH PARK NISSAN. Ask for Stephanie!!!! Once again Thank you guys. Cheers Jason Matte More

Impolite and argumentative sales staff I was disappointed in the focus on only my husband when we arrived at the dealership yesterday. Someone named Nick introduced himself but could not r I was disappointed in the focus on only my husband when we arrived at the dealership yesterday. Someone named Nick introduced himself but could not remember our last name and did not remember my first name. He then found a salesman to assist us and he called my husband Mr. "first name" and I was given no introduction at all. I felt it was disrespectful but then it got worse. The salesman started to be confrontational about something very small and argue with me. Perhaps my sense of sexism at this location was what made me leave but on the way out I asked if they had a business card as I wanted to call and discuss my experience of terrible customer service with the manager and the receptionist looked like a deer in headlights and said "no we don't have business cards". I left my husband and said he could find me in the car waiting to leave. I will never come back to this location. We have been here before and never had any issues and were treated respectfully but I just read that they are under new management since 2014. They give the appearance of simply not coping and worse they have no sense of the proper way to treat a potential new customer. Left there and carried on to our next stop at Ken Shaw. More
