ABSOLUTE GARBAGE! DO NOT GO!! I initially went in for a tire change. That took forever to complete. I was unimpressed to say the least. I returned in the new year as I had received a letter from Nissan Canada looking for my model of car to be sold back to them. So I went in looking at my options. Beware of any numbers they give you! Triple check them! They'll give you a number you like on a lesser model, or change the lease term, or add more deposit. Be extremely vigilant! They kept my credit card and license for well over 40 minutes after I had asked for them back so I could leave. I explained I had to work early and needed to leave, that I'd be back. They refused to let me leave. It took quite a bit of noise making before they gave me my license back and threw out a decent deal for the car. I eventually made a deal and as soon as I did, all bets were off. They wouldn't return calls, lost paperwork that cost me money to replace (plates portion of ownership). They didn't care anymore. When I came to pick up the car, I waited for a long time for them to get the car, then was handed the keys as if I was diseased and bother them. Worst of all, my car seems to have every curse under the sun. It's a lemon. And they don't care. When I needed my tired changed I went to pick up my tires from their storage and bring them elsewhere to have them changed ($100 savings compared to their service prices). They put my tires in my car and sat with my keys for almost an hour. When I walked up to the service desk I was simply handed my keys and dismissed as they offered to help the next customer. Turns out they weren't even the right sized tires for my car. So they weren't even my tires!! After all that. When I went back the only helpful person in the service department was apologetic. Told me that unfortunately that's how things normally run there, like crap. Be warned: When they want your money they'll bend over backwards (including using deceitful tactics) for you. But once you've signed you become a burden and they'd prefer to have nothing to do with you. By far the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. It's run down, dirty, managed improperly and its obvious that the staff are praised for getting people's hard earned money at any cost. It's worth driving elsewhere to get your services done. It's absolutely worth it to get a new/used car. DO NOT COME TO THIS DEALERSHIP. IT'S NOTHING BUT HEADACHES. More

I ended up waiting for a vehicle to be shipped only to receive a scratched vehicle that hasn’t had nothing but issues . I refused to take the car because I then realized he also lied about the warranty I purchased . I then had to speak to the owner/ manager to resolve this prior to picking up the car . I’m still driving a scratched vehicle that has had nothing but problems .. I’m stuck with this car now but I assure you after my experience at High Park Nissan I will never drive another Nissan after this one . Stay away from this dealership !!!!!!! More

Disrespectful Deceitful Disgusting My wife was recently swindled, lied to and cunningly taken advantage of by these snakes. From the sales staff working hand in hand manipulating numbers on contracts, to the sales manager dismissing our complaints as "he said/she said". I notice people in these reviews with words of praise to this dealership, but all we experienced was TOTALLY the opposite. But its not an isolated issue. In a moment, I will refer reviews here by Jonathan in Feb 2018 and Carlos Oct 2016 on dealerrater.ca , as just 2 examples for now who encountered the same crooked, underhanded tactics at High Park Nissan. My wifes initial complaint was: "READ YOUR CONTRACT OVER VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE SIGNING!!! * They lied to me about the actual cost of my car, rushed me to take the car off the lot before actually being able to review the contract and then tricked me into thinking they would consolidate my old car loan. Now I'm left with two car loans and one car. You better believe I am taking this complaint to OMVIC on Monday and the media, to ensure other women like myself don't get swindled as I did. I also know that OMVIC will be very interested to know that the car was labelled as new yet was off the lot a year ago and that they changed the mileage to show trip so it would like the car wasn't driven more than 10km! Highland Nissan are nothing more than crooks and I have no idea how they sleep with themselves at night!" Since then we went in to plead our case with the manager Nick, who from the onset had a smug demeanor of no compromise and no customer service consideration whatsoever. He left us with "we have dine absolutely nothing wrong". When seeing some of Jonathans similar problems with the staffs dirty etiquette and sales tactics, namely Iva and Marco, we realize that it wasnt just us... Jonathan writes: "Since the moment you walk in, the intent is to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible so you will agree to their terms just to get out of there as fast as possible... Here are some examples of the tactics they used with us and that you should watch out for: 1. Once you're ready to make an offer, they will ask you to "sign" it --do not! Once you've signed a couple of times, it gets a lot easier psychologically, so they're expecting you to get through the lease or purchase document (the only document that will actually matters) reading as little as possible; 3. When you make an offer, they will also ask for your credit card --do not give it to them! This, again, is another cheap psychological trick that intends to make it more difficult for you to walk away. Once you've given your personal information, you've made a commitment in your mind. 4. After we placed our offer (without signing or giving Eva our credit card), she made us wait for at least 25 minutes. When she finally came back, she said we had to put a better offer on the table before she could put a number down (her intent was to get us to negotiate against ourselves). 5. The manager Marco is a textbook bully. Despite his young age, he's condescending, insulting and tried (unsuccessfully) to use his "position of power" to push you into his game and get your to pay as much as possible. What's more worrisome is that his competitive nature will fool him into making the relationship zerp-sum and he never wants to lose, so he will say and do whatever it takes to "win". Overall, this place should be shut-down for its shady practices and how they treat their customers. If you decide to go in, be ready for an adventure in negotiations" Then Carlos writes: Worst dealership ever beware" - Carlos Words to describe this dealership and the negative experience in a recent purchase of a new car. Liars False Rude Missleading Crooks Incompetence Unprofessional Belive me this will be taken much further than it needed to, had they cared to not only please, but respect their customers instead of finding ways to gauge the public and take advantage of their trust. Really good people just be ready for their Pro sales tactics First off, Iva is a phenomenally knowledgeable, responsive, customer-oriented salesperson. If you are interested in buying or leasing a Nissan Leaf sh First off, Iva is a phenomenally knowledgeable, responsive, customer-oriented salesperson. If you are interested in buying or leasing a Nissan Leaf she should be your first choice in the GTA!!! Nick is a friendly and welcoming Sales Manager, and the entire sales staff seem very happy to be working there - the positivity there really makes it a warm family environment. Bane the Finance Manager is very friendly and down to earth, a tough negotiator, but definitely not overly pushy. I'll put it this way, we opted-into an add-on without knowing much about it, but he did not push us into it, it really was a soft sell. When we realized we didn't want that option, Bane and Nick were very accommodating. My only caution, especially for first-time buyers, is be prepared to go through the full gamut of standard sales techniques. i.e. offered chocolate (gets your endorphins going), made to wait for financing, firm pricing tactics, negotiating monthly price vs. total price of optional add-ons. These guys are professionals. All of these tactics put the negotiation in favour of the dealership, but that is not to say there was anything wrong with that. All of those strategies are fair, by-the-book selling, and are things you should be prepared for at ANY dealership or during any large purchase. More
