We have always been extremely happy with their customer service and pricing- that's why we keep returning! Jamie and Mike are very personable and very low key salespeople who make the purchasing process very streamlined. Jamie listened to our needs and wishes and tried to accommodate every aspect of them. He offered very knowledgeable advice, without any pressure. As a family, we have truly loved all of our vehicles: the Highlanders, Camrys and Corollas. We have recommended Guelph Toyota to family and friends. It's always a wonderful experience! More

We (me and wife) started with a Tercel, graduated to Corollas through the model changes, then a van and SUV and a truck as our kids grew. All Toyota and all leased. Love Toyota. We were changing vehicles to accommodate our life needs, but as it is obvious, never found a dealership that we felt ever remembered us after we drove away. Anyway.. kids grew up. Someone told us Guelph Toyota was good... a "pay it forward" I guess. It was time for something different. I sat with Jamie Sloane and discussed an FRS which would be the biggest change up I've done and I was a little nervous. Told him I'd need a week to decide. He told me everything I needed to know about the car inside and out -engine design specifics, center of gravity, even why it is called a 'boxer' engine. He also showed me his own FRS that had a few of the 'extras' that normally I would have to purchase by picture and description alone. I didn't call but showed up at the dealership one week later to the day. He had a FRS with dealer plate ready for me for my final test drive. I didn't tell him that I wanted it either, but I did. That was a place and a guy that remembered me after I left. Since that day, the FRS is now financed making it the first Toyota I've 'owned' and I couldn't be happier with it. I have added more Toyota accessories which Jamie has helped order and reviewed the install and affect they have as he wants to learn more to help others. Jamie has kept me in the loop with info over the years for countless Scion driven activities including dealership BBQ's, local A&W car shows, CSCS events, and... I got a chance to drive my FRS on the world class LeMans track at Mosport with a professional race instructor. Come on, who gets to do all this...? Oh yeah -Jamie called me once to let me know of a private pizza party and car show at Pat Cyr's garage. I went with him in our FRS's with a few others. Pat Cyr -Google him. This was/is a big deal. I am currently building an FRS drift car for professional racing. I have been training at Shannonville, Grand Bend, Mosport, and Cayuga (TMP) for a little over a year and half now. Racetracks only and instruction driven. I have a long way to go as does my car in the garage, but I have found a passion that fuels a dream ... Oh ya -Returned to buy a Tc from Jamie a year later to drive daily now that the FRS is a work car. Wanted to start with the FRS purchase, because the best thing I feel I got out of the deal, was a friend. who help me find a new interest and passion in life. Thanks Jamie. More

frustrated and fed up I do not normally write reviews but when you cannot get answers and have to make phone calls for almost a year then I think others should know. I ha I do not normally write reviews but when you cannot get answers and have to make phone calls for almost a year then I think others should know. I had a viscous coupling changed in 2009 on my 2006 rav 4. It was an expensive fix which would have cost $2000.00. It was agreed that I would pay 1/4, dealership 1/4 and Toyota Canada 1/2. Also had my muffler replaced in 2010 by an independent company. I go to Guelph Toyota in Aug of 2014 to get recalls looked after. After a number of hours I pick up my vehicle to be told that the viscous coupling and muffler were part of the recalls. I did not know that before. I said I paid for those parts to be replaced and now that are recalled? I was told that I would have to submit the bills and it would be refunded back to me. First off, on their copy it said it was warrenty work and said I did not pay for any of the repairs on the viscous. I was told that I had to go and find the original receipt and prove that I did. Well I had moved and also was dealing with sickness in the family so it was April , 2015 before I had a chance to get back there and show my proof of payment. Was told it would take a couple weeks. Months went by and I realized I had not received my reinbursment. I called in July and was told that they did not forget about it. Toyota was going through some restructuring and it would take time. After that I continued to called periodically only to be told they would look into it and call me back. That never happened. I was given more excuses. Finally in Sept., I was told that the viscous was approved but they were waiting on the muffler approval. After lots more phone calls and being told I would be called back, I was told they had both been approved and they would get a cheque out. Well....more phone calls and told they would look into it and the girl I talked to would personally call me back that day or next day. Well....no call and when I called I would told Service manager was told and said he would call me back. I called and left message couple times.....no call. I finally called again and got talking to him. Told he would have to look into it and call me back. Got call back in few days after I called and left message that I was not called back. Told something about it had been approved but the code was only good for couple days for them to use. Then I am told that I would have to start again with another dealership to get my money because they could not ask again. Well I talked to Customer service at Toronto and she told me she would look into it. Received a call back from Jenn in Toronto that it was looked after and to call Peter back to get refund. Called only to find out that only the viscous was approved this time and muffler was not because it was recall and they replaced it. Finally received a chegue 2 weeks after being told they would send a cheque. Now I have called the general manager and of course you don't get your call returned. Why is it that you buy a vehicle or pay or repairs and you have to pay for it but when someone owes you money, they forget about it and you have to go through the frustration of calls and rudeness to get any answers. Let alone the money I paid out in 2009 and 2010 and the interest that would be added on for the repairs and time to get my money back. So now I am still out $300 for something that was a recall in the first place. I am completely frustrated with this company. Why do you have to go through this hassel....In looking at reviews of Guelph Toyota, I see it it only rated 1.4 out of 5. I wonder why??????? Like I said I do not normally wirte reviews but how many people does this happen to? It is so very unprofessional to run a business this way. Barb McLaughlin More
frustrating, difficult, unhelpful. Wanted to buy a Toyota because they are good cars, but have become increasingly frustrated working with the team at this dealership. I discussed my pr Wanted to buy a Toyota because they are good cars, but have become increasingly frustrated working with the team at this dealership. I discussed my price range and desired model with the salesman Jamie and he promised to call when something became available. A week later I noticed one matching my description on the website but when I inquired about it he said it was sold. He said he had another one arriving that week that he would be in touch about, yet a week later he still had not contacted me. On further request he apologized for the delay and said he would contact me by day's end with the details. It's been nearly a week since that email and still I've heard nothing. Is this the way salesmanship works? I have to chase YOU to sell ME something? This is both unprofessional and unreasonable. More

Extra work was recommended, I understood it could take longer but was never told it would. By 4pm I asked how much longer, was told 10mins, by 5:18 it was finally done. I know I pay extra at a dealership for their work so I expected better service. Never expected this lack of customer service from a dealership. No one seemed to really care how much time was wasted. Rude sales manager Even though I always read and rely on reviews, I hardly write one myself. But I have to write this one as it was a really bad experience. Being a Toyo Even though I always read and rely on reviews, I hardly write one myself. But I have to write this one as it was a really bad experience. Being a Toyota employee and a pre determined price, I only had to choose a dealership that was good in customer service and had the vehicle in stock that I wanted to buy. I wanted to buy one from Guelph as I live in Guelph and believe in supporting local business. With a 2015 clearance event, it was hard to find the vehicle that I wanted in stock. Obliviously Guelph didn't have one in stock. Everything was ok until I said that I am going to look at other dealerships in area if they had the vehicle in stock before I pay my deposit to you guys to locate one for me. The minute I said that, Ron, the sales manager there was extremely rude and insulting. I had my family with me and my teenage daughter was shocked by looking at the behavior of this guy. I had a good experience with the sales woman(Tanya I believe) but after I met with this arrogant sales manager, I decided to take my business elsewhere. More
