I thought that there was strong communication and service. I liked the fact that they checked with me before additional work was done outside of the original quote. The staff was quick, they liste service. I liked the fact that they checked with me before additional work was done outside of the original quote. Customer service at the service desk today was complete garbage. The person would not listen to what I wa saying. Basically telling me how it is and I had to just deal with it. Guelph Kia Oct 26, 2024 evlajnic We bought a brand new 2013 Sorento and we were looking forward to a new car but it turned out to be the biggest purchase mistake we ever made. We started having issue new 2013 Sorento and we were looking forward to a new car but it turned out to be the biggest purchase mistake we ever made. We started having issues with the car by the end of 2014 and even though it was still under warranty, we couldn't get any Kia dealership to look at it. We bought it at the kitchener dealership and went to Waterloo, Cambridge, Niagara and ended up in Guelph. We tried to contact Kia Canada 3 times without success. We had information that the engines in the Sorento from 2013-2015 were needing to be swapped out but not for us I guess. It took everything we had to even have someone just listen to the engine. It sounded like an old diesel engine especially in reverse. But the so called professionals couldn't hear anything. When our car went in to Guelph Kia for a recall, we were told by the mechanic there that he was going to do whatever he could to get us a new engine and a transmission. We were told numerous times that there was not going to be a charge for any for the parts or the labor. We repeated to that mechanic that we did not want to put even a penny in it and we were told not to worry about it. We were skeptical about these promises but went for it anyways. Without any updates on what was going on with the car we were chasing to find someone to speak to and get information. We were getting frustrated and feeling like they were just stringing us along for the ride. We finally spoke to the GM Peter and he assured us that this was not going to be free if we wanted to go ahead. The mechanic turned around and stated that we agreed on us providing them with the transmission and it was going to take many more months. Peter was speaking to us like we didnt know what we were talking about. Like we were making these promises up just to get a new engine. We finally called a tow truck and removed our vehicle from the dealership. When you go out to look for a car DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST before going into any Kia dealership because what they seem to promise everyone could turn out to be a serious bill at the end. It's almost like dealerships have become a corporate money grabbing joke of a business. Praying on those customers who don't have mechanic knowledge. More

Tech recommended I replace front rotors and brake pads when all my brake pads were replaced in May, 11,000 KM ago. Same for all spark plugs when already done in July, 3 months ago. Ongoing complaint conce when all my brake pads were replaced in May, 11,000 KM ago. Same for all spark plugs when already done in July, 3 months ago. Ongoing complaint concerning brake pulsation over 80KM per hour but I now question their technician expertise or their mechanical expertise. my confidence is diminished and I now question the integrity of their tech recommendations. It is very unfortunate as I drive 35,000 + highway KMS per year and I value my active maintenance experience. As well, my previous service advisor, Jaime has left the company who I appreciated and trusted. More
Lovely new facility, great people, helpful and welcoming. Should try not to up-sell first visit, but accepting of my choice and checked the timing for me - I was right! Should try not to up-sell first visit, but accepting of my choice and checked the timing for me - I was right! More
We had exceptional service at the dealership. We highly recommend Greg McLean as your product advisor. He did a good job at providing us with a detailed overview of our vehicle.
