Not respecting customer nor their time Customer service recall me to inform me that they change the specs to satisfy me and I had to go to pay the down payment. I repeated two times that the specs changed with the same price, he said yes. When I went to pay they said no change and no one said that. I request the recorded phone call they said there is no record and the customer service associate deny what he said. In addition they left me waiting over 20 min to find who answered the phone call and the manager who was dealing with the case didn't come till I ask him again saying I have a lot of customer.!!!!!! Who insist to deal with them, let them sign on every line and option in there offer. More
Happy with my car but not with the service I bought a new car here about a week ago. Gunsheet one of the salesmen, was very good not being too pushy and was always responsive to any questions o I bought a new car here about a week ago. However, I got charged $499 for an anti-theft that I didn’t even request and no one even took the time to explain what that fee was. The finance manager ended up charging me $992 for that same anti-theft on the final bill of sale. If I wouldnt have noticed or talked to them about this, no one wouldve told me that I was being overcharged! When I told him to waive the fee he proceeded to tell me that if he took the fee off he would then have to raise the price of the car which made no sense at all. They finally waived the extra $500 but not the whole fee. Very happy with my car but no at all satisfied with the fact that I was charged for a fee that was never even explained to me nor was I told what it was and what the function was, they kind of snuck it in there. I wouldn’t recommend people to this dealership if things like this are going to happen... :/ More

General Manager is a dick Will never shop at this place. They were asking $29K for this car. We did our research on pricing of this particular car based including VMR Canada an Will never shop at this place. They were asking $29K for this car. We did our research on pricing of this particular car based including VMR Canada and what other dealers, including the ones in Calgary, were asking. Retail price should be approximately $25K. So we made a reasonable offer of $24k. The sales person went to present the offer to the General Manager. We backed up our offer with the VMR Canada report and a car on a dealers lot in Calgary with more features that was priced for $28K. General manager made us feel very uncomfortable because he had customers that knew what they were talking about and could back up their claims. He tolds us to go buy the car in Calgary. So we did. Royal Oak Nissan dealer reduced the price $1K and bought us lunch and told us to tell Go South Nissan thank you for bring them customers. More
They don’t check used vehicles thoroughly before resale Bought a 2008 Jeep Liberty. I was shown paperwork on things they fixed before selling it such as leaking seals underneath. Plus the mechanical fitness checklist was all checked even though the power mirrors didn’t even work. Plus , they told me that the battery posts were corroded and they cleaned them. In reality, the battery was so old and should have been replaced since it totally failed on me in less then 2 weeks if me actually driving it. The seals under were also still leaking and clearly they did not replace anything. So in trying to make them back up what they sell... I faced over a month long painful battle. I dropped of my Jeep back there to get the couple of things fixed that they said they would,, like the power mirrors. They had my vehicle for over a week and nothing was done , and the one salesman involved said they couldn’t find my Jeep at one point. I got mad and said find it! Brayden calls me back 15 minutes later and says it’s here and it as ready as it will ever be. So I picked it up and nothing was done. He lied to me ! This is the same time the battery failed. Now I go to the top! Dealing with the GM. Very upset at this point. Serveral trips and wasted time 35-40 minutes one way each time. Finally they cut me a check for the battery I had to buy. Then they booked me in to fix the leaking crank seal that was never done as they told me. Another week goes by .. they tell me they are not fixing the power mirrors , but just the seal. In the end I was so done with dealing with them and the runaround that I just let it go. Was promised a full tank of gas for my trouble and a road side emergency kit. Only got the kit, but still had to ask for it. The original salesman I was dealing with treated me great! Dwayne was awesome , the only bad thing was he was off with a tooth infection and therefore was put onto Brayden . I only pursued this because they told me when I bought it that if I have any problems in 30days... to let them know and they will make it right. So clearly I am left with a bad impression and that it took dealing with this the GM to get the support they promised me. Buyer beware, unless your buying brand new, I would hesitate to buy a used vehicle or recommend them at all. I originally chose to buy a used vehicle from a dealership as I know they inspect them. You don’t get that with private sales. Hope this helps others to see the need to shop around. More

Pleasantly Surprised We are an older couple and have a few new/used car purchases under our belt. We are quite used to the strategies ( and I'm sure we don't know them al We are an older couple and have a few new/used car purchases under our belt. We are quite used to the strategies ( and I'm sure we don't know them all!) when purchasing either a new or a used vehicle from a dealership. I have to say the experience with the staff at GoNissan South was a better one that expected. Our sales person, Anup Varma, was personable, not pushy, answered our questions honestly, and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He would have driving out to our location to pick us up if necessary, and he drove us to the vehicle registry so that we could obtain plates for the vehicle we purchased. As well, we were absolutely dreading seeing the Finance manager as we have purchased new vehicles in the recent past, and it is truly an unpleasant ordeal( are you listening all you finance managers out there!) Not one of us wants that experience. The young man that we dealt with was pleasant, was not pushy, and although he carefully explained everything in detail, didn't try to ram any extras down our throats. Having said that, he did put forth all the "extras" that were available to us in a non pushy way. All in all we have been happier so far with this dealership and it's employees than at the dealership we purchased from late in 2017. Early days yet, but we are optimistic that other interaction will be as smooth. Thanks to Anup Varma, and Vasilis (finance) for making what is usually a dreaded experience not quite so. More
