I went to Kia West after visiting several other auto makers dealerships with no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with friendliness of all the personnel at the dealership and in particular the s makers dealerships with no expectations. I was pleasantly surprised with friendliness of all the personnel at the dealership and in particular the salesman and sales manager that I dealt with. After trying the car, I took my wife to the dealership and the purchase was handled with ease and the deal consummated with a total lack of pressure. Richard was very pleasant and open with the his explanations and answered all our questions with ease and was very familiar with the product he sells. We left with the feeling that we :bought" a car and were NOT "sold" a car. To date we are very pleased. More
I visited Kia West 11 months ago in a pretty big mess. I had been scammed by my last dealership(orca bay suzuki now tri-city Mitsubishi) I was 45,000$ in debt and had a vehicle that was falling apart. I went to several dealerships trying to get someone to help me out of the mess I was in and no one would work with me my mess was to big for anyone to help me. I ended up at Kia West for over a week they worked with me and the banks to find me a vehicle. They were offering me a 2012 Kia Optima Hybrid. I thought they were crazy thinking I was going to go from an SUV to a four door sedan. But I recognized that I was pretty much out of options and this was it for options for me. I talked to Dusty who also drives the same car he assured me that all my vehicle needs would be met. My dogs will fit and my family and friends too. Even though I was skeptical I chose to trust and I signed the papers. Now almost a year later I can safely say, Dusty was right. I am in love with my car it is an amazing car and I will tell anyone who will listen how much I love my Kia and more than that how much I love Kia West. There customer service even after the sale continues to impress me. Any time I come in there wether for service or if I just have a question they have always been happy to help me. I just cannot say enough good things about Kia West and there staff. More

Dusty, the sales manager, and Joe, our salesman, were both very friendly and helpful and made our family feel very comfortable during the whole experience. Not only did they show us a great selection of both very friendly and helpful and made our family feel very comfortable during the whole experience. Not only did they show us a great selection of vehicles to choose from but their excellent product knowledge really helped us narrow down our search with ease. When we selected the vehicle we were interested in (Kia Sportage), they made us an offer that we couldn't refuse. They gave us an incredible trade-in-price for our old Honda Civic (almost double what the Honda Dealership offered us) and the price on the Kia Sportage was perfect for us as well! Our family will definitely be returning again in the future, and we would recommend this dealership to anybody looking for a new or used vehicle!! Great selection and product knowledge, Excellent Service and Great Pricing!! Can't go wrong!! Thanks for everything Kia West!! More
Looked at multiple dealerships price searching but finally found a truck I loved at Kia west. I bought a used truck for a really good price and had so many to pick from. The truck only had a few years left of warranty but thanks to Tony in the business office he gave me a really good price on an extended warranty package. Just bought a new car from Kia West and I cant say enough wonderful things about my experience there !! Dusty the sales manager went above and beyond for my family , His caring and attentiveness made us feel wonderful things about my experience there !! All the staff at Kia West are the nicest most caring people. And to Ken and Joe , I cant thank you guys enough for entertaining our children while we were signing papers, I know it wasn't part of your job description and didn't have to Thankyou!! Dusty (sales manager) is so rude. they gave me a price of a demo car for 39000 and on the website the same car brand new worth only 35,740. I trusted them and they all lied to me and when I went back to talk to Dusty to do a price adjustment after a week that I bought the car, he was so rude and he said he can't do anything better but other dealerships at least offer you something to make you happy and thats called CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! I have never been upset of buying a new car and have so much headache for 10 days that I bought the car. Kia cars are affordable but I wouldn't recommend Kia West AT ALL!!!!! you can get a better deal and a better customer service at any other Kias but Kia West! More
I have bought a Rio from this branch, KIA WEST. Sales manager that helped me, Dusty. So here’s my issue here. I had written a negative review about this branch previously in regards to fixing a dented ( manager that helped me, Dusty. So here’s my issue here. I had written a negative review about this branch previously in regards to fixing a dented (it was really minor, but still it was a new car). That issue was actually fixed after 3 weeks of trying to contacting them (after about 18 phone calls). After that issue was resolved, they asked me to write back to a positive review, but hey here I am again. So aside from the first issue, this is the second issue that they’re trying to avoid. When you buy a car with certain companies, they have a program called ‘First-time buyer’ program where they deduct $500 off from your purchase. Qualification for this program was unknown to all the staff in KIA WEST. (I say this because I asked Dusty, Tony, Mo(?), and one more sales representative.. they all didn’t know exactly how the program worked.) But before I start my story, here is what was agreed upon when I bought the car: $900 cash back discount (was the promotion at that time). $500 first time purchase discount. $500 for choosing a car that they had in inventory. (I was originally planning to purchase LX but changed my mind to EX. They didn’t’ have the color I wanted, metallic grey and only had deep-blue in stock. Now, because it costs them $500 to deliver the metallic grey, they would rather just give me the $500 discount on the current deep-blue car.) Total of $1,900 discount to the car purchase. First when doing the documents, I wasn’t able to detect this issue but I realized when I got home. So I went back there to ask where my $500 discount for ‘First-time buyer’ program was. They told me that they will need to check if I’m eligible, and will need 8 weeks for it to process. And once everything has been processed, that I would be receiving a check from KIA CANADA. (At this point, they were telling me that I did qualify – and that I would have to wait 8 weeks, if not they would give me a call) I waited 8 weeks and received nothing. Knowing that KIA WEST will most likely give bad service (from that first issue I had), I called KIA CANADA. KIA CANADA being surprised, notified me the following, “the $500 is normally deducted from the original price, not issued by check.” So I filed a complaint about this branch. They contacted KIA WEST about this issue. I was told to call KIA WEST (by KIA CANADA) to speak to a ‘business/marketing team’ because they needed my personal information. I called KIA WEST the following day. Their response: 1. You probably didn’t qualify for it. (I responded back, why wouldn’t I? I used BMO, it is my first time purchasing) 2. All the deductions are in your receipt. (No they weren’t, which is why I dropped by after the purchase to discuss about it) 3. Okay we’ll double check with Dusty, we don’t recall why we needed to give you a discount. (Okay. I’m waiting, but no call backs) I can’t believe how bad their service was/is. Or their knowledge on what they offer. So basically after 2 months of the car purchase, this $500 rebate has not been given to me. More
