If I was just rating my experience with the sales associate of my car purchase it would I would give a 5 out of 5, even more if I could. 5 STARS FOR TRINA!!!! Why Trina is the BEST sales person ever!!! -Friendly, pleasant and not aggressive. She actually feels like a friend. -Quick to respond -Willing to negotiate -Explains the process in detail -Is available at all times of day, she is very good at what she does and clearly doesn’t work the standard 9-5. I had many emails and phone calls discussing my details while she was not working. Not something that I expected, but really does shows her dedication to her clients. She strives to be the best at what she does, and her passion for her clients is very obvious. She tries very hard to make every effort to not only meet, but exceed expectations. -I wish she worked at a different dealership, as I would recommend Trina every time. She is really amazing to work with. Why I would NOT recommend Galt Chrysler: Rui Azevedo! The warranty/finance guy you go to after the deal is sorted out. I understand they have to sell warranty, it is a part of their job, and they would not be doing it if they didn’t provide these options. I have no complaints on listening to the sales pitch or asking questions and learning about the products. I smiled, I was pleasant and I thanked him for all the great information, but I was going to decline the warranty. His job is to pursue the sale, again, I have no complaints on this. I worked in service/sales for a long time, I 100% expect and appreciate this. HOWEVER my problem is when someone tries to hide costs into an already firm deal. Rui took it upon himself to add $499.00 to my Bill of Sale, that next to it had no label, looked like it was the admin fee, but it was another line below that. It confused me. What I didn’t notice, was that in the comments section, which he clearly did not review with me, it said tire and rim warranty. Not only had I declined all of the warranty, but I had discussed with Trina that I was replacing the tires, so it wouldn’t make sense even for me to purchase that particular warranty. I found the fact that I declined it, then he ignored pointing it out on the paper work EXTREMELY bad business. It wasn’t a large amount and with all the other options and upgrades and decisions that it was very noticeable at first, and of course $499 doesn’t affect the payments very much, so I left scratching my head, I knew something was off. After I left the dealership I pulled into a parking lot and started doing the math and was off by this amount plus some taxes. I called Trina right away and asked her to look into it as I was so confused, and it didn’t seem correct. I also asked her at this time to look into 1 more item that I wanted them to install, but I would purchase… more on that soon. When she called me back, she found the warranty charge and said it didn’t make sense because she knew I wouldn’t warranty tires I am not keeping. It wasn’t going to effect the overall monthly payment and she suggested the undercoating, I didn’t really want it, but I was happy with her and the payments, it was overall such a small amount that I accepted to move it to the undercoating. But that didn’t change the fact that this man is making warranty “sales” more like scams, behind peoples back. I am very detailed and realistically it is so small that when rolled into the overall price it is hard to find. Had I not sit with a calculator, because I knew our agreed to price before I purchased the vehicle, I would have never caught it. It is the fact that I was deceived after being more then pleasant and willing to listen to his sales pitch, that I am even more upset. I feel like as a customer I was fair and honest, I worked in service for too long to not appreciate their roles, but by scamming me he clearly didn’t respect my RIGHT to decline coverage I didn’t want to pay for. Side note, I still feel I overpaid for undercoating, but I will get to that in my next issue. Because of Trina’s resolve on this, I would have given them a 4 out of 5 BUT then the next item happened. Made a promise and didn’t deliver! I had asked for something the day I order my vehicle ( there was a potential 3 month wait for it to come in, due to having being factory ordered) so I had a lot of time before it arrived, and so did the dealership. The vehicle I purchased is not built with a back up camera however it is able to have one, as the system allows for the input. So I asked if I purchased the equipment would they install it. Trina looked into it with the service department and after a few back and forth’s it was said that I would be able to have this done by them. I was SO HAPPY! This probably would have pushed my review back up to the 5 and just forgotten about the warranty issue. Because I really wanted this. I had researched it for months before buying the vehicle and knew it was fairly easy to be done, but requires connecting to the nav system which means the dash has to be partially taken out and put back in to plug into the back. No prob for a service department that has probably done work like that many many times before for other things. So I ordered the parts, had them shipped to my house and dropped them off at the dealership for install on my brand new vehicle. I was literally super excited because I would never have to deal with not having the back-up camera on the vehicle. It is a little luxury to have, but I really love it on my previous vehicle so I wanted to have it again. And oddly this isn’t offered on this vehicle. Day of pick up, I receive a phone call telling me that they will not be installing my back up camera. WHAT?! They had a month to look into it, (and before agreeing to it should have) and when I talked to them originally about it they said they have done it before, so it wasn’t a lack of knowledge on their part. Instead they offered me a $200 service credit (interesting since that seems to make up for what I overpaid on the undercoating) I was so upset, my husband was furious as that was promised to us, and taken away at the very last minute. 2 hours before picking up the vehicle that I thought had a backup camera installed. I don’t even believe they ever intended to install this into the vehicle. On top of that, there is a code that is needed in order to unlock this feature, they claim they need the serial number from the stereo that is inside the dash to provide for me, the truth is, it is just a little code thingy you can purchase online that plugs into a location that is to the left of the clutch, no dash removal required to override it, and according to the thousands of Jeep forms that is all they do at the dealership in order to get that to work. (they do not open the dash in order to get that serial code for people that pay for it to be done at the dealership!!) So they told me to get this done elsewhere but have denied unlocking the NAV system that accepts the backup camera, meaning I can’t even set up the equipment I have purchased and would need to buy a completely different kit in order to override this code. So this would now cost me an additional $500 on top of what I already paid for the equipment because I was told they would do it, aka not having to deal with this code issue. The fact that I was promised something and that was taken away was one thing, but now they have also made it impossible for me to do it elsewhere with the kit I have purchased. If they had said no from day 1, then I would have never been able to be upset about it, I also would not have purchased this particular kit and researched how to do it with a different kit that would override the system code to allow it to work. So now I am out the cost of a back-up camera kit, that they are not paying for, and been ripped off for warranty. I think the fact that I am giving them any stars is a stretch, but Trina is the only reason why I am giving 3 stars. She should consider going to a different dealership where they value their customers. She would be such an asset anywhere. I will never buy another product from this dealership, I don’t even know if I will use my “service credit” because it would require me going back there to have an oil change done, and probably being ripped off even more. As much as I really love my Jeep and felt that for the actual Jeep I got a fair cost, having worked with Trina to negotiate what I felt was a fair deal. Past that I felt that this dealership disrespected me as a customer in many ways, ways that are both financial and personal. A lot of times it is not about the bottom line, I think people generally are willing to pay a little more if they felt that they were taken care of. I chose this dealership not only because of the negotiated price of my Jeep (because they were not the only dealership that offered me the price I wanted) I picked them because of the reviews of the 2 dealerships I was considering, this one…Trina specifically was rated much better. I know regret going to Galt Chrysler over the other dealership, as perhaps I would have my back up camera or at least not had it promised to me and taken away and not been scammed into warranty I didn’t want. Very unhappy with this dealership. Never again. More

The most amazing staff you will ever meet! Chyrsler has and always be my number 1 dealership. I went in looking for a specific car and i left with that car. They have the most friendlist and pa Chyrsler has and always be my number 1 dealership. I went in looking for a specific car and i left with that car. They have the most friendlist and patient staff. They look at what you can afford and they work around you. Never once did i feel pressured to get something i didnt want. Everytime i walked in i felt welcomed and every assiociate i spoke too could answer any question i had( and i had alot). The only down fall i had was; i wasnt able to get my car in blue.:( But trina and another staff did look for it in blue, but were unable to find me one. I would definitly recommend trina and chysler to anyone of my friends or familys members. Thank you for all your time and patience. I love my new car :) More
