Not Entertaining! When I arrived at Quick Lane for a simple oil change, I was not warned of any "delays". There were only a couple people in the waiting room. Well, it took 1 hour and 45 minutes to get a 20 minute job accomplished. Just a ridiculous amount of time stuck there. I truly don't consider sitting in their waiting area for an extended period of time, to be very entertaining! Yes, the coffee was free and OK. More

Mixed reviews . . . We have sent our truck here for over a year and have, for the most part, had good experiences. Our last service call was a simple oil change and tire We have sent our truck here for over a year and have, for the most part, had good experiences. Our last service call was a simple oil change and tire rotation booked about a week in advance. The day prior, I dropped the truck off so they could start working on it first thing (7:30am); the key was dropped off and the truck was checked in. On the next day, I called in at 10am as my wife received a text saying we missed our service appointment. I was given the run around when I asked about the status. Left on hold for a while. No answer. Called in again at 11am asking the same question, they told me I didn’t have an appointment today ... huh? Left a voicemail for the service manager (Charlie) to get an explanation. No call back. Called back at 1pm, was told it was done ... good. I still wanted to speak with the manager to ask what happened and to perhaps get an apology, especially since it was now causing a conflict in my work schedule. Left another VM for him, still no response over 24 hours later. I understand this is a first world problem (your oil change taking from 7:30am until 1pm), but for the manager to blatantly ignore your requests for a conversation is absolutely pathetic ... seemingly just hoping that the problem (me) goes away. Because I still haven’t heard from the manager, I am now posting this review. Being a manager in the customer service field myself, this is very bad business practice. As much as I dislike contacting an upset client, I still do it to make sure they come back to do business with us again. Prior to this experience, we had great service from the Quicklane department (first come first served). Not the same experience when you use their regular scheduled service work. I also find their prices to be fair, especially after previously experiencing the high costs to service your truck in Alberta. More
