My overall experience This is my third truck I have purchased from Eastside Dodge. I have dealt with Darrin Bachmeier each time and there is a reason for that. His knowledg This is my third truck I have purchased from Eastside Dodge. I have dealt with Darrin Bachmeier each time and there is a reason for that. His knowledge and expertise of the vehicles on the lot made the purchase process so much easier. He listened to what I was looking for and searched for the perfect match. The handover of the trucks each time has been seamless. The finance managers explained the "details" and worked with me if i had any questions. The service department was great too with my previous two trucks! All teams that I have dealt with make it an easy decision to come back again as well as refer my friends and family! More
50/50 I recently bought my 2nd vehicle from Eastside and unfortunately this experience wasn't nearly as good as my 1st purchase. My wife and I went for a p I recently bought my 2nd vehicle from Eastside and unfortunately this experience wasn't nearly as good as my 1st purchase. My wife and I went for a private sale and were greeted with a folder filled with all kinds of 'special discounts' and 'extra savings' because we were valued customers. So far so good, we spent the majority of the day in the dealership looking at a variety of vehicles and our salesman was quite diligent in accommodating our various requests for test drives and different options. After quite a few test drives and lots of discussion, we decided to purchase a 2014 Fiat 500. This is where the experience started to sour for us. Once we were presented with the price of the car, absolutely none of the "special offers" we were told about in the morning were referenced at all. We were told never mind that, this is the best price we can offer. In my opinion this was terrible customer service, I felt 100% ripped off as I'm almost positive I could get exactly the same price for the car any day of the week. I felt that there was zero benefit to purchasing the car during the so-called Private Sale. However by this point we were tired and also pretty excited for the car so we went ahead with the purchase. We take the car home with the expectation we need to bring it back to have it detailed and the undercoating done etc. We make arrangements to bring it in later that week. On the day we are supposed to go in, my wife calls the dealership to ask what time she should drop it off. The receptionist is not very friendly and says that we have to book an appointment and we can't take it in that day. My wife had taken time off of work to do this so she asked to speak with our Salesman, the receptionist offers to speak with him herself and a few minutes later says that we can bring the car in... no apology for the somewhat rude behavior. We noticed after a few days that we didn't get the Tom Tom GPS that was supposed to be included with the car. I called THREE times over a week and a half to see about getting the GPS. The Receptionist blamed the salesman for the slow response and the salesman blamed the receptionist, regardless who's to blame one of them lied to me. It makes me question the integrity of the dealership as a whole and further supports the questionable customer service to this point. Again my wife has to drive to the dealership to pick up the GPS which has been left for us. We get it home and it's missing a major element to use it in the car! Another exasperated call to my salesman and he discovers that the part missing was removed from the car we bought because it was a floor model. That meant another trip to the lot to pick that up. This should have been checked before we left the lot. My wife also asked if the car was supposed to come with floor mats because we didn't get any. It was, but no one checked when we bought it so she was told to take the mats out of another car in the show room. I wonder if whoever buys that car will get floor mats? Overall our experience was quite disappointing, we are happy with the car but everything that happened after we decided to buy it has been a let down. We walked away feeling like we were not valued customers after the sale was made. If I could return the car and buy it from somewhere else I probably would. More

Very helpful service and sales staff....but lazy mechanics My girlfriend and I bought our 2013 Jeep wrangler unlimited last year from deepak. We looked at a couple other Jeeps and dealt with a couple other dea My girlfriend and I bought our 2013 Jeep wrangler unlimited last year from deepak. We looked at a couple other Jeeps and dealt with a couple other dealer ships before we bought from Eastside. I must say the sales team at Eastside was extremely helpful and didn't pressure us into a sale. We put our jeep in for an oil change,alignment and the power steering recall back in june, the appointment was booked a week in advance to make sure the job would be done in one day. Unfortunately I received a phone call at 3:30 in the afternoon the day it was booked in saying that they had to keep the vehicle over night. Next day I got a phone call at noon saying it was ready, we showed up payed the bill and as I was walking towards my jeep I notice there was some fresh oil running down the frame rail,than opened the door and saw greasy hand prints all over the door jam/hood and a coffee cup in the centre console that was not from us. I went back to the service bay and they sent a mechanic out right away to fix the leak(loose power steering line from recall). A lady from service did call me later on in the evening to follow up on my experience and they did compensate for the poor experience. (Which was a very nice gesture). Unfortunately when the recall was completed they forgot to top the power steering fluid up and I took the jeep back two times before I said screw it and just bought fluid and topped it up myself. So last week the jeep went in for an oil change and to deal with some other issues I had. The jeep was dropped off the night before so that they could get a jump start on it first thing the next morning. I got a phone call at 8:30 from the service manager just confirming the issues I wanted dealt with (oil change, tire Rotation, power steering seemed spotty and a transmission issue). I than got a phone call around 3pm saying they need to keep it over night again....long story short we got the phone call at 2:00pm the next day to say it was ready, my girlfriend picked it up as I work out of town. First time I drove it after being home from work I noticed there is a wobble up front, my Steering wheel is now off and I have a blown axle seal on the driver side, which I just booked another appointment for.... Didn't oversell me or pressure me...in my past experiences buying new cars I've met many sales people who don't know how to read people...Rob read me exactly right. He answered all my questions quickly, accurately, and with out the "used car salesman approach". Derek was fast, professional and like Rob, not high pressure or aggressive. Thanks for what should always be but is rarely a great experience. More
