On the right track after dealing with management. Bought a brand new 2014 dodge ram sport from east side. SCAM # 1Upon delivery they would not give me the second key fob, I'm told it's not include Bought a brand new 2014 dodge ram sport from east side. SCAM # 1Upon delivery they would not give me the second key fob, I'm told it's not included and cost is $300.00. SCAM # 2 I spoke with chrysler canada and Chrysler canada informed me there is a recall for the radio hub reprogramming. I asked the salesman about it, he said "It was done prior to pick up." SCAM # 3Before reading the manual and asking a friend who owns a dodge for better clarity I was having some trouble with the GPS. I again called the salesman to inquire, he said, " it needed to be activated, cost $550.00" The friend and the manual quickly resolved the issue without cost. Biggest disappointment and immediate buyers remorse resulted when at 3100km I noticed large puddles of fluid had leaked out under the truck. Needless to say after having been lied to by the salesman I don't feel the need to cross the city for service at this dealership. So I have been to another one for service, it is the front shocks that have lost their fluid. The major issue is the have no replacements apparently in Canada, & I'm told it will likely be 3-4 months before they do. So I have a brand new truck with 3300 kms that I don't feel is safe to drive due to increased braking time, uneven & premature brake and tire wear, as well as the rough floaty ride. This has been the absolute worst vehicle purchase experience I have ever had. Absolutely wish I had stayed away from dodge, as this has been my first experience. I made the mistake of not doing enough research prior to this purchase. Now having been through this experience and talking to others, I have heard many poor stores about the staff and service at eastside, as well as almost every person since that i have spoken with mostly garages in Calgary have a poor opinion of the dealership, the ones affiliated with the owner of eastide & the molar product line. Seriously disappointed with my experience and the purchase, experience. Since writing this review I have been contacted by the management at East Side Dodge and they are taking the necessary steps to address the concerns and circumstances surrounding the vehicle purchase. Management definitely stands behind the customers. More

Couldn't ask for a better buying experience Came in just to browse with no intention of buying. One of their sales guys Rob came up and we began chatting about a flames game that aired earlier that day. He wasn't your typical pushing sales guy. He spoke to me like we were old pals. After a little while we started talking about vehicles. He showed me the new cherokee and we took it for a spin. Very relaxed, very friendly environment, there was no pressure to buy but Rob made some good points and looked at my current vehicle and suggested I trade it in. Few hours later I was moving my stuff out of the old car and into my new Jeep Cherokee! Danny from Finance was a pleasure to deal with. He was genuinely excited for me and worked to get me the best financing options available. Danny, Rob and I all chatted for awhile after the sale was done. Great group of guys and I couldn't be happier with my vehicle. More
