Good Prices, friendly service! After doing extensive research on a 2016/17 Hyundai Santa Fe, I like everyone else appreciate the best deal possible. I found the prices at Eagle Rid After doing extensive research on a 2016/17 Hyundai Santa Fe, I like everyone else appreciate the best deal possible. I found the prices at Eagle Ridge better than those anywhere else, so I flew to the lower mainland (from the Kootenays) to have a look at vehicles. I had received some information over the internet from Goran so I asked to see him upon arrival, but he was not in and had to wait about an hour before he arrived (I had previously told him that I would definitely be in that morning). Waiting around there were a number of other salesmen who approached me to see that I had been helped. I did not find that they were the typical pushy annoying car sales persons you find at so many other dealerships – they were friendly and there to help! After test driving a few vehicles and talking prices, I left to go to a few other dealerships to kick a few tires and do some test drives. I soon realized that the prices offered at Eagle Ridge were better than at other dealerships, so I did return to complete a deal on a vehicle. After a short while, we agreed on a price on a vehicle but it did take the next few hours to have the deal approved by the finance manager. All this time I patiently sat and sat and sat waiting in the not so glorious showroom. Never once was I offered a coffee, juice, etc. by anyone there. Finally, after a number of hours the paperwork was ready and the deal was completed! As it was now the end of the day, I would have to return tomorrow to complete the sale and pick up the vehicle. I arrived at 10:00 the next morning, concluded the sale (paying cash) and waited for the vehicle to be detailed. Once again, I waited and waited and waited (again not being offered a hot or cold beverage). I had previously told them that I had a funeral to attend the next day so the sooner I was on the road the better. As it turns out, I did not get the vehicle until 3:30 that afternoon and had an 11hour drive ahead of me to get home in time for the funeral!! Needless to say, I was late for the funeral!! A few general comments about the dealership: - They seem to be in chaos around the used car department - a general disorganization and no one provides any definite answers. - The salespersons showed a lack of knowledge of the vehicle when asked about specifics on engine size, safety ratings, etc. - The deatil work was done quickly and the attention to detail was not great. We found peanuts, candy bar wrappers, restaurant receipts, etc. in seat pockets and under the seats. - After owning the vehicle for about 2 months, I received a letter from Sirius radio telling me that I only had a few weeks left in my 3 months “free” trial! I was never told this by the salesman and felt that I should have been told when purchasing the vehicle! I missed out on the free trial. More

Disappointed service First of all - I spent about 5 hours at this place and they tried really hard to sell me a car - however, were not successful at all; also because of First of all - I spent about 5 hours at this place and they tried really hard to sell me a car - however, were not successful at all; also because of the lack of knowledge of the salesperson Chris. I appreciated his effort, however, he was not able to provide any details to any of the cars we tested. He talked about unnecessary features when we were in the car, but when we wanted to have details about the engine, transmission, or previous accidents, etc., he had no answer). Furthermore, he didn't seem like a very experienced driver, which made it complicated for him to understand when I was talking about driving comfort. ... He tried to overplay it with trying to win me as a friend, but this made me feel very awkward. In the end we were willing to buy a car way out of our price range and he made an excellent offer; however his manager Art did not go with this deal. So after 5 hours at the dealership, testing several cars, finally making a decision and commitment to buy, we ended up with nothing. I felt they were playing us a lot and in connection with the lack of 'auto' knowledge, we decided not buy from them. There are so many places nearby and we ended up with way a better service just across the street. More

Bruno was the salesman that I dealt with who had excellent customer service...truly went above and beyond to help cater to my needs and made my car purchase a memorable experience. He's the best salesman I could ask for being new to Vancouver and not knowing where to go for a reliable car. If you're looking for a genuinely friendly, honest, attentive salesman who won't pressure you into making the purchase, ask for Bruno. ;) More
