AVOID Bought a car with them in 2013 from the used car lot. They knew nothing about their cars they were selling. I would ask questions and would get answered generic lies which I knew even at the time was inaccurate. They were very dishonest when it came to closing the deal as well. Telling me they had changed the brakes to pass inspection etc etc. Yes, they put other brakes that were just as done. Good job. And lying about prices the vehicles were at or actual value. If ever I have questions and call them back I am rudely answered, often with a bunch of inconsistent answers. Nobody knows anything, very unhelpful. Usually getting told "we're busy call back in like an hour or something". Overall, unhelpful, deceitful, sales driven people. Not customer satisfaction. It was a mistake to buy with them. Very unsatisfied. More
Buying a new car is supposed to be fun.. NOT at Donnelly Kia. First of all, they put us in a car WAY out of our price range. The General Sales manager was no good either. Went to another dealership and had a MUCH better experience. Would never go back here again!'This is a very poorly run operation! More
bad service experience took my 2012 kia rio to get grill replaced,,made apt ,. agreed on price (3/4 to 1 hour time needed). I supplied new grill. service adviser (Tyler) came back to me 5 minutes after they took car into service bay(I was waiting for the job to be completed) He said they couldn't guaranty there wouldn't be any damage when they removed front bumper (clips broken etc ....) I said that's why I brought it to a dealer. they know the car and are supposed to be professional. If they couldn't do the job right ,then take the car off the hoist and I'll leave. Service manager got into it, (I wasn't to pleased by then) he acted like they have never seen a car before or how to do a simple job like this. I told him I thought the only reason they were acting this way was because I brought in an original Kia part myself and they didn't sell it to me. He said no , and I told him I didn't believe him. I then said I was going to write a review on a dealer rating site , he said go ahead,and he'd put note on my file (some sort of not too veiled threat )I told him to put the little number of parts they had removed back on the car and I'd take my car some place else! It seemed like they did not want or need my business, and dare I say, I'd question their competence. Never going back to Donnelly's again! More
Charged for service which was not rendered I took the car for wheel alignment among other services, I was charged 584.10 $ including 124.95$ for alignment, when I left I noticed that the proble I took the car for wheel alignment among other services, I was charged 584.10 $ including 124.95$ for alignment, when I left I noticed that the problem with the alignment was the same like before, I called them and asked why? They said that the machine for alignment was broken. I asked why did they charge me for the service when the machine was broken? Their answer was I can come once more when the machine will be fixed. I find that very dishonest' I had a previous similar experience when they claimed that all my brakes has to be changed and made an estimate of 880.00$, I took the car to another garage to discover that the brakes needed small repair and the job was done for 220.00$. I should have had my lesson the first time. More

My car was taken in on time and the estimated time of completion was met-which is very important to me as I am a consultant and time is money. From an initial phone call (I live two hours outside Ottawa), through options around the purchase of my 2012 Kia Soul, through the delivery of the new car, the purchasing of winter tires and two regular Ottawa), through options around the purchase of my 2012 Kia Soul, through the delivery of the new car, the purchasing of winter tires and two regular service calls, it has been nothing but an absolutely pleasure. Information was straightforward, advice given in ways that didn't leave me thinking I was being snowed or duped. I had gone to another dealership closer to home, thinking that would be more convenient but there was NO comparison...little interest in me or my needs, no willingness to do their best to get me the exact car I wanted..the contrast between the two dealers was extreme. After my first encounter I had almost given up looking further at a Soul, but a cold call into Donnelly's and a straight -up discussion with Michael Parker renewed my interest in Kia. More
Overall very good experience, they always have parts or can order it in in short amount of time. Oh btw the staff know cars too, which is always a plus in a field where everyone tries to sell you the wrong can order it in in short amount of time. The service provided by this dealership was very poor. They removed items from my vehicle during costumization and didnt give them back resulting in over 1000 dollar lost for me. I took my vehicle in for an inspection a few months back and the amount of items shown to be deficitive was 3 pages long and would cost me 3 to 4 thousand dollars for repair. I took my Kia to an independent garage and all work was completed for under 500 dollars as well as the mechanic advised they were trying to deceive me into repairs that didnt need to be done. I dont and wont recommend this dealership to anyone. More
