I just had a bad experience at Dixie Toyota. I’m very disappointed after sharing my dissatisfaction with my service department experience that no one from management followed up with me. That is the reason I am taking time to share my experiences.. I purchased new running boards and a hood deflector for my Rav 4. After doing so I called the Dixies Service department to enquire about them installing these items for me. I talked to a very helpful woman in the Service dept. She was great. I asked how much installation would be and she put me on hold to enquire internally, so, after quite some time she came back and said the allotted time for both would be 2 hours as per their info on their computer. So, I asked what if they finish earlier than the allotted time ——she put me on hold to further enquire as she was curious as well. She came back saying that hey would only invoice for the time taken ie if shorter than 2 hours they would bill for the lessor amount of time. So, I proceeded to book an appointment for this past Tuesday for 9:10 am. I arrived and got into the queue and waited.. When it came my turn a no nonsense service person looked over my car and then asked me to come to his work station to proceed with the service process. Then I see my car leaving the service Bay Area. I asked do they install the accessories in another location? He said no all the service techs are busy. He worked on his computer terminal and then says what my total is going to be based on the preset labour time allotment. I asked how can they invoice me when they haven’t finished the job yet based on time. He said no that’s what you’re being billed. I told him how I had talked to their service department about this specific thing and I shared with him what I was told. He said no this is the way it is. I asked for him to return my car and told him I’m not only done I am so mad I wasted my time booking an appointment with a two week wait time only to be told something different. The lady that was at the service desk came over and asked what’s wrong so I told her what I was told two week ago and what I’m being told now. I also shared how upset I was with them misleading me. I could have had my mechanic install them two weeks earlier but felt comfortable that Dixie Toyota wouldn’t try and screw me over this. BUT they did. So disappointing, as I had purchased my car from Dixie Toyota. I was going to give them zero stars but the lowest is one. More
Terrible customer service at the service department, they never answer the phone, hours of wait time. I leased a Toyota Crown Signia 2025 three months ago and was surprised to learn it doesn’t come with a spare tire. When I asked the dealership, they reassured me that Toyota Roadside Assistance would cover was surprised to learn it doesn’t come with a spare tire. When I asked the dealership, they reassured me that Toyota Roadside Assistance would cover any emergencies. Unfortunately, when I experienced a flat tire recently, I contacted Toyota Roadside Assistance and waited on the phone for about an hour. Despite the clear weather and safe conditions, I was told there were no available towing vehicles in my area. As a result, I had to stop multiple times to reinflate the tire manually just to make it home, which ultimately caused damage to the tire. I later learned that tires are not covered under warranty, and Toyota’s customer service explained that Roadside Assistance is a third-party service not directly managed by Toyota. This was a stressful experience, and I felt unsupported by both the roadside service and dealership. I’ve since had to purchase a replacement tire, assemble a personal spare tire kit, and subscribe to CAA at my own expense. For those considering this vehicle, I recommend being aware of the lack of a spare tire and having a backup roadside plan in place. More
I take my car to this agency for service for the last two years. My car was under extended warranty and I got a nail in one of the vehicle's tire. I got it changed and claimed warranty. We called the dealer yesterday for buy out info and got an appointment instantly with Ivan Oorloff. He was so welcoming and very comfortable to talk with. No pressure from him, all you got are good options an appointment instantly with Ivan Oorloff. He was so welcoming and very comfortable to talk with.
