After filling out all papers sales person and manager told that car will be in 5-6 days and they will contact me. During 1-st week of waiting it was me who had to call them and ask about any update info, no initiative from their side at all. At the beginning they checked and told me that the car is in other dealership and they will swap it. It is regular business. Seems OK. After 2 days and my 1-st call they told be that that other dealership doesn't have it and car is located somewhere on warehouse. After 2 more days and 2-nd call they finally located car and gave me VIN number. Quick search with VIN through internet gave me unexpected result that car was located in other dealership 40 km from this. Interesting and not OK at all. Another week to obtain car. So generally it took 2 weeks to deliver car to me. Recently I shared this info with my friend who bought car in other dealership. He had his car in 2 days, swap with other dealership. Nice. During this "adventure" I tried to get some help from Toyota Canada. I spoke with 3 different persons. The only help they can provide is filling complaint, no more. Standard words - we are sorry with your bad experience, but dealers are independent. The main point of our conversation was - your problem with our car it's your own problems. I don't know how other dealerships and company behave. But my own example with Toyota was awful in every aspect. I hope that this information will help someone. More
