I had recently purchased my plate sticker for my vehicle, and as soon as I went out in the frigid temperatures of late, it was cracking, and I asked Ian when I arrived if he thought it would be possible to achieve getting my sticker on while my Jeep was in the warmth of the garage for a bit. To our liking we were warmly welcomed and were able to find exactly what we were looking for. The salesman tracked down the exact jeep with preferred options from Montreal. We got a great deal on the vehicle including the trade-in for my used vehicle also. When I picked-up the vehicle he showed me everything I needed to know to drive the vehicle safely. A couple of days after pick-up I had additional questions about a soft-top that I purchased separately. He was available for additional help. He was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. First time walking into a Dilarwi showroom (Hunt club across from the Costco gas station). Had emailed a few times a few months back when at the maybe shopping stage. Saw a vehicle advertised on line and across from the Costco gas station). Had emailed a few times a few months back when at the maybe shopping stage. Saw a vehicle advertised on line and through some emails back and forth decided to take the vehicle of interest for a ride. As Graham was my 1st contact through these emails I sought him out. Cold weather car buying sucks but Graham had the car of interest inside, warm and waiting for my inspection. Drove it around and came back to dealership. Told Graham it was nice enough but wanted to sleep on it as my modus operandi is to never buy on the same day you see something. No problem. No strong arm, no it might be gone tomorrow, in fact gave some additional information. Turns out I didn't buy that vehicle. I called Graham back a while later. "Hey Graham, haven't heard from you in a bit, got anything?" He did but it was a bit more pricey than I had previously been looking for - He had been waiting for similar to last test drive to show up on the lot. Anyway, to make a long story shorter after two more drives we settled on a vehicle. Now 'should' come the run back and forth with the slip of paper to the sales manager while they both pretend to be trying to make an offer and counter (you know the game), except at Dilawri they actually WORK to get you a fair deal. In fact unbenownst to me - my trade-in had been in an accident before I had bought it (not disclosed by that dealer near Greenboro transit station whom I had bought three vehicles.) I had a figure what my van 'should' have been worth and a figure what I was comfortable with at the transaction bottom line. The news that I had paid full $ for an accident vehicle ($3300ish repair estimate) which now left me fuming and of course now getting less for the trade was going to skuttle the deal. After all Grahams's work 2 lines on a Carproof report blew it all up - or would have at any other dealership. Here, Dilarwi wanted me to be happy, didn't want to get tarred with the same brush I was about to tar the dealer I bought the van from, and wanted to make the sale, (and maybe have me tell others about this no hassle no pressure dealership with friendly staff) that they decided to give me what we had originally agreed on for my trade as if there had been no accident on file. I get the Town and Country next week. Save yourself some time and some money (and maybe snag a free hot chocolate too) go to Dilawri First, you won't need anywhere else. More
