Tim, thought i would get back to you, haven't checked my email so i will highlight my experience. -Found the truck i liked so decided to move forward. -Price on the tag was 38185 and had nice aftermarket rims and tires put on it. -Felt the price was good considering this so went to deal on this -Got to the end of the pricing process and the number seemed high, was told i had to pay extra for the rims. I said what the heck and was told the tire dept needs to get paid. Thought that was kind of sniper advertising. -Agreed to pay for the tires cause they made the truck, so i asked for a price reduction on the truck, was told that because i was trading in and was financing that there was no movement on the price, should have just walked then. -Asked for a 4 year service card as i was only gonna own the truck for 4 years then upgrade, they would only give 2, found out that a 2 year is given to pretty much any car, new or used, no perk to me. -Truck is black so asked for 12 months of free carwashes, 1 a month. Was told that costs money and we can't do that, petty. -Upon pickup of the truck, unit was detailed beautifully, but i had told the salesman and the finance person that when i pick up the truck to put a shine on it and make sure the tank is full. I said this 3 different times. Obviously ignored because the vehicle had 25% of a tank. I said WTF to the salesman and he said we don't fill new vehicles, maybe this is your policy but i think its cheap. Needless to say the salesman got a 50 dollar voucher for fuel but i could tell the person signing for it was not pleased. -Then the accessory person came out with the kodiak emblems and says here, i said what do you want me to do with these. She said some people don't want them on so you can put them on whenever if you want. I'm not putting on emblems on my own new truck, so i got her to do it. Good on her. But when asked for prices on mud flaps and factory command start for my truck she got distracted by the phone and i moved on and never did get a price. -Asked about my 2 year service card, salesmen says oh i forgot and service dept is closed. Come back another day for it. Another trip across town for me, yay. -After a couple of days i wondered to myself what becomes of the factory tires and rims since i could use these to put winter tires on. Emailed salesmen but he took a week to get back to me. Told me they were there and i could pick them up if i wanted them,I really wonder if anybody would have contacted me if i had not thought about the rims from the factory. Another trip across town for me. -Decided to get bed rail caps for my truck, went to a different dealership cause i was miffed. They did not have them in stock but said your dealership did. so i went to your accessory person and she gave me a price of 109 but once i got to the parts dept. the parts girl tried to charge me 116. I said the other person told me 109 and she just said oh. She was definitely put out that she had to change the invoice. Not impressed. -I see that the kodiak truck i have is advertised at a price point of 35495, so no i don't feel i got a great deal.
