I got the product i wanted at a price that was better than anyother quoted. Graham reserched my requirements and came up with a better alternative at a better price. The service department at Davis called my wife to set up an appointment to do an oil change and tire rotation on her 2013 Cruze two weeks ago. I took her car in to Davis for the appointment at the time they had set up. When I got there I was met by a very grumpy seeming lady who seemed confused about how to operate the service program on her computer. Once she got the information from the odometer she made a work order and said as few words a possible to me. She asked if I would be waiting for the car to be completed and I said I would, at which point she told me that there was no techs ready to begin work on my wife's car despite having an appointment. As a result of there being no one ready to start work at the appointed hour I would need to wait for a half hour for the work to start then a half hour to forty five minutes for the work to be finished. I thought it was a little bit odd that I was told that no one was ready to do scheduled work but I went to the waiting area wait. After two hours with no updates from the staff I went to ask if the car was almost done. Mark said he would check it out for me, telling me that only the tire rotation was left and it should be about ten minutes. Forty five minutes later he came to tell me that the work was done. To be entirely fair at this point I was not a very easy customer. I was tried of waiting and a bit angry that there had been several customers come and go while I waited for a simple oil change and tire rotation. He apologized for the delay and said that he gave me the regular price on the oil change. I told him that my wife had the Davis rewards program and asked what that was for as I was under the impression that oil changes were included in that program. He looked at the work order that the lady I dealt with that morning had made up and said that he didn't see the rewards program on his paper but I could call my wife and ask if she was sure she had the Davis rewards program. I would have hoped that he would have checked the computer in front of him, or put forth some kind of effort, before telling me I was wrong. At that point I just wanted to get on with my day so I paid the $94.50 for the basic oil change and tire rotation and left. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had anywhere, and I hope that most people have a better time with this dealership than I did. More
We went into Davis Chev to check out a used vehicle. Eunice came up to us and was very helpful in showing us the vehicle we had come to see. She asked a few questions in regards to what we were looking for and then showed us the 2013 Chevy Trax. This brand new vehicle was around the same price range we were looking at. She took us for a test drive and we were very impressed. We put in an offer that day. The finance department was so helpful between Justin and Glenn. They worked so hard to get us the payments we wanted and were very knowledgeable. We had gone to other dealers that didn't even try to retain our business when we were not happy with the payments on the new vehicle. We will definitely refer our friends to Davis Chev. I found all of the staff to be courteous and friendly. Nicole was quite informative about the Equinox vehicle I was interested in purchasing. On a couple of occasions she didn't readily have an answer but Nicole was quite informative about the Equinox vehicle I was interested in purchasing. On a couple of occasions she didn't readily have an answer but didn't hesitate to find it. Due to the undercoating not being completed I was not able to pick up the vehicle at the promised time. This was not a problem for me and my overall experience was pleasant. Nicole, Rick and Justin were all professional in my dealings with them. More
We were very pleased with the service that we received. It took a little longer for us to actually get our car, but that was not the dealers fault as there received the wrong parts to install. My experience with the team at Davis began October 12th, when my wife and I stopped in to buy a part for our Montana Van. Unfortunately the parts department was closed, but as we were about to leave we were when my wife and I stopped in to buy a part for our Montana Van. Unfortunately the parts department was closed, but as we were about to leave we were greeted by Rick and Austin. They both had a smile on their face and a friendly greeting for my wife and I, and asked if they could help us. When I explained our dilemma, and although we weren't looking at the time I mentioned that we were interested in the new Chevrolet Trax. Rick asked if we would like to take one for a few hours and see if we liked it. My wife and I both said sure, and Austin immediately went to get us the keys for the one we had picked out to drive. We went for a spin and enjoyed the sporty little vehicle, so we went home to see if our kids would fit comfortably in the back. Unfortunately it was a little small for our family so we returned to the dealership.We told Austin it was a nice little vehicle, but was too small for us. He suggested the GMC Terrain, or the Chevrolet Traverse which was the next size up. I liked the look of the Terrain, but we didn't have the time to go for another test drive that day. I told Rick and Austin we would be back the following Saturday to bring my truck in for an oil change and would have a look around. The following Saturday we returned to the dealership, and were again greeted with a friendly smile and a warm handshake. We had already picked out the Terrain we wanted to drive, in a color my wife really liked, and Austin went searching for the keys. Unfortunately the one we had picked out had been sold and was on it's way to another dealership. Austin gave us the keys for one in a different color as he searched for another one in the color my wife liked. I immediately enjoyed driving the Terrain, and was impressed with the features and comfort, We returned to the dealership excited to start the buying process. Unfortunately Austin was unable to find another one in the color we liked. We talked about it and agreed we liked the one we had just drove and were ready to start the deal. Before we even started the deal Austin put a sold sign in the Terrain we drove so nobody else could scoop it up. Dealing with Austin was easy, and he gave us a fair price for our van on trade. It took only seconds for Rick to approve the deal and we were set for our turn with Glenn in financing. While we waited for Glenn, there was no shortage of staff ensuring we were comfortable and had a coffee in hand while we waited. Even dealing with the "dreaded finance department" was a pleasant experience. Sitting and talking with Glenn was like having a conversation with a friend. He made us both feel at ease and the whole process was quick and easy. I got the call the following Monday, the deal was done, and the Terrain would be ready to pick up in a few days. I picked up our shiny new Terrain on Thursday the 24th and we couldn't be happier. Every step of our experience with the staff at Davis was a pleasure. It's not very often you go into a car dealership and feel that they are genuinely happy you are there and not just looking to sell you something. From the girls at the front that greet you with a smile, to everyone I dealt with it was probably the best experience I've every had at a dealership. I would not hesitate for a second to recommend this dealership to anyone, and have in fact have already recommended to a couple of my friends to check them out. I hope they do and have the same experience I did. More
