The entire process was excessively time-consuming, taking over 12 hours across three days. Despite scheduling appointments, I faced significant delays, including waiting over an hour past my appointment time to meet with Abdul from finance. Although Abdul eventually came to get me 40 minutes late, he directed me to speak with Chris first to discuss potential add-ons. Both Chris and Abdul were extremely insistent about selling additional features. Despite my repeated refusals, they continued to pressure me by lowering prices and attempting to persuade me to purchase extras I did not want. There appeared to be a total lack of communication between Chris and Abdul. I had clearly informed Chris that I did not want any extras and preferred a 48-month loan term. However, Abdul presented a plan that included all the extras and warranties, along with a 96-month term. The extras and warranties alone amounted to over $10,000 on a $23,000 car purchase. Abdul was relentless in his attempts to sell the add-ons. Each time I declined, he questioned my decision and repeatedly lowered prices and re-bundled offers. Even after multiple refusals, he suggested that most people accept the deal because it was “so good.” On the day I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle, my appointment was at 6:30 p.m. I arrived 10 minutes early, but Chris was 10 minutes late. During this time, I observed him conversing with another salesperson and walking around, which made it seem as though he was deliberately delaying. Additionally, the vehicle was supposed to be detailed inside and out, but the job was subpar. The salesman spent about 15 minutes cleaning the inside of the doors and parts of the exterior, but multiple areas were still dirty when I left. Additionally of note, I originally put own a deposit on a different car, only to find out later that day that it was already sold to someone else. When I inquired how this could have happened, Chris brushed it off and noted that nothing could be done. Despite my wife’s repeated warnings not to continue with the dealership, I pursued which I now regret. To provide a balanced view, I must mention that my initial visit to the dealership was positive. The salesman was accommodating, allowing my son and me to take two different vehicles home to show my wife. However, this was the only positive aspect of the entire experience. I faced high-pressure sales tactics from Chris, who was quite irritated after I convinced him I needed time to think about the purchase. I also wanted to add that everyone that I have dealt with has been really helpful and friendly. A few days after I took delivery I took the Kicks for a transmission fluid change, at an independent garage. They showed me the air filter. This was the original air filter from when the car was new. It was completely black, with lots of debris in it. I would assume the vehicle inspection the dealer was suppose to have done, prior to my purchase, would have caught this. I assumed they didn’t look at anything and just checked off the boxes on the checklist. Especially if they missed something as simple as an engine air filter. My cabin air filter was the same thing, extremely dirty. Overall, my experience with Country Hills Nissan was frustrating to say the least. It did contact a couple senior sales managers but never heard anything back. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. More
The worst service and terrible attitude to customers. They spent a week and a half of our time and increased the cost of the car by $1,600 right on the day of the scheduled purchase of the car. We wante They spent a week and a half of our time and increased the cost of the car by $1,600 right on the day of the scheduled purchase of the car. We wanted to buy a used car in this store. We came to see 2 options that were exhibited on the store's website, as a result they were not available. They offered to meet the next day, because they are waiting for another car, we made a deposit. The next day, the manager did not call back, I called him myself, he apologized and said that they would have the car tomorrow. The next day we came to see the car in the evening, waited for another 40 minutes for it to be delivered. We agreed on a deal, the manager himself offered us a cost option, pick up a car with full service or pick up the car in the condition in which it is cheaper. We chose the second option. On the day of the purchase the manager called and said that the car would be $1,600 more expensive because they made it full compliance. At the same time, no one called me in advance and not discussed it with me. As an excuse, everything the salesperson came up with to say "this is a free country." Well, if they believe that this can cover the non-performance of agreements with clients, the lack of professionalism and ability to work with the client, it's a pity. And all the manager was able to answer the question why this situation happened: we lost contact with our service center and they did full maintenance of the car, so now it costs more. I want to clarify that the service center is near the store, it's just ridiculous. Don't waste your time, I believe there are other good sellers in the city. More

Today they would not return his deposit, they took full advantage of his vulnerability. This is predatory and disgraceful!!! They lied. More

Nightmare Experience at Sunridge Nissan - Kaizen Group in Calgary I continue to have the misfortune of dealing with Sunridge Nissan, under the ownership of the Kaizen Group in Calgary, and the entire expe Calgary I continue to have the misfortune of dealing with Sunridge Nissan, under the ownership of the Kaizen Group in Calgary, and the entire experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. My encounter with this dealership has shattered any trust I had in both the Nissan brand and their so-called commitment to customer service. First and foremost, the car I purchased was allegedly "new," but during negotiations, I was informed that it had 500km on it due to the manager's personal use. However, upon taking possession of the vehicle, I discovered it had a whopping +1500km on the odometer, a stark contrast to the 23km documented on the bill of sale. This deceptive practice sets the tone for the lack of integrity that permeates this dealership. The second red flag arose when the delivery of the vehicle was delayed by over a week. Instead of proactive communication, I was left to initiate contact for updates. Initially, the excuse was the need for additional detailing, then miraculously, the keys were supposedly stolen, necessitating the creation of new ones. The lack of transparency and the string of nonsensical excuses only added to the frustration. Upon finally receiving the vehicle, it reeked of cigarette smoke, a blatant disregard for the promised "new condition." The windshield was also chipped, prompting us to request a replacement. Astonishingly, the General Manager at the time (Wasfi Haroun) advised us to wait for the crack to worsen before seeking a replacement, completely disregarding our expectation of a pristine car from the beginning. Six months of waiting for the windshield replacement followed, during which we had to constantly badger the dealership for updates. When the replacement finally occurred, it marked the beginning of a cascade of new issues. Upon receiving the car back, we noticed the center console for the windshield camera was loose, the "passenger airbag" warning lights not functioning, and the automatic emergency braking system consistently signaled its failure. Water was now also dripping from the cars roof and side column, showing leakage from the poorly installed windshield. Returning the car for rectification once again resulted in more chaos. A new windshield was placed, and new lane camera installed, as the previous was damaged by the installer. The Assistant Manager claimed the car was tested for 10km, yet there was a clear discrepancy in the Service as it only showed 3km driven from Vehicle check-in to check out, and even more astonishing, discrepancy once again from the odometer as it only showed 1km difference from the check-in Odometer read. Not to mention the gas gauge showed at least an 1/8 consumption from when the vehicle was dropped, which suggested a potential 80km worth of consumption (not reimbursed, by the way). The lack of accountability and transparency from the dealership is appalling. To add insult to injury, the newly installed windshield caused the heads-up display to be completely out of focus. Now, the dealership is ordering yet another replacement, citing a faulty windshield. The continuous stream of issues and lackluster service has left me utterly disillusioned with both Nissan and the Kaizen Automotive Group. This ordeal has not only soured my perception of the Nissan brand but has also set a new low for dealership service standards. The sheer lack of transparency, accountability, and the multitude of problems encountered make Sunridge (now Country Hills) Nissan in Calgary, under the Kaizen Automotive Group. More
