Absolutely do not fall for their warranty scam. Was forced to buy the warranty and when i asked if i dont want to take warranty i was told my interest rate will go up. What rubbish. If only negative stars were available....STAY FAR AWAY Here is our story…. Mechanical Issues: On October 24, 2016 I purchased a 2012 Mercedes Benz R350 Bluetec ("R350") from Carnation. In addition to Here is our story…. Mechanical Issues: On October 24, 2016 I purchased a 2012 Mercedes Benz R350 Bluetec ("R350") from Carnation. In addition to the vehicle price I purchased gap protection for $1,100 and an extended 24-month powertrain warranty for $2,100. In the summer of 2017 the Bluetec system failed, this was not covered by the warranty Carnation shrugs is shoulders says “you signed the warranty” – Repair $1,500 Christmas break 2017 the battery keeps draining overnight. Carnation assessment is the vehicle needs a new radio (head unit) $4,000. After removing the radio, they note that the battery is still draining and replace rear fuse panel $500. Thankfully we did not opt for the radio repair suggestion - I need to add here that after a very terse discussion CarNation covered this repair. February 21, 2018 – windshield wipers fail – back to Carnation. – The problem is related to a malfunction in the blind spot sensor. Repair estimate - +$500. We opted to keep blind spot sensor removed, wipers work great March 29, an oil leak, the radiator fans were running in a way that seemed faulty and there was a red warning on the dash that said to have the car serviced. Diagnosis - "thermostat control" malfunction and the "rear main seal" needed to be replaced. April 5, 2018 I picked up the car at 4:30PM. I drove the car to my home, then to pick up my daughters, then returned them to their mother’s home at 8:30 PM. Car stalled, and was leaking oil much worse than before. Car towed back to Carnation April 6, 2018 Carnation (Service Manager, Amar Rakkar) advised that they must have "rushed" the rear main seal repair and would be fixing it again. April 10, 2018 Carnation (Service Advisor, Mike Pinto) delivered the now fixed R350 to my home, one hour later I drove back to Carnation as the car had a terrible noise that was previously not there (sounded like rocks in the engine). Advised this noise was due to a stuck manifold control and according to Carnation did not need to be urgently repaired. April 18, 2018 the R350 was leaking oil once again (even more than the previous two times). I contacted Carnation and they sent a tow truck to retrieve the car. April 19, 2018 Carnation contacted me to say that they needed to repair the rear main seal again and would keep me posted on the status -claimed that Burlington Mercedes told them to use aluminum part the previous two times, and now they were using a steel one. April 20, 2018 Carnation contacted me to say the repair went smooth, there was no leak for the last 24 hours and they were taking the R350 for a test drive. During that test drive the car stopped functioning and they sent a tow truck to retrieve it and the mechanic. April 24, 2018, Carnation (Amar) advised that the R350 needed a new starter. And I authorized that repair April 30, 2018, Carnation (Amar) asked me to come to the dealership to see and discuss the R350, when I arrived Amar advised that the engine had seized on the R350, the repair estimate would start at $10,000. Following this Carnation (Mya Gokani, Sales manager) advised me that Carnation would offer me $5,000 as a trade in value for the R350. Leaving us with a negative equity of approximately $25,000. The Warranty! Inappropriate selling tactics with respect to purchased extended warranty coverage $2,100 Carnation (Salesman Moe Joosub) contacted me via email to offer a 2 year unlimited mileage power-train warranty. Mr Joosub did not explain the specific details of this warranty and failed to point out the numerous areas/parts of the car that would not be covered. Instead the sales tactic was "a lot of things can go wrong in an electronics heavy car like a Mercedes, this coverage is the right thing to do". What Mr. Joosub did not explain was that these electronics would not be covered by the warranty. Gap protection Inappropriate selling tactics with respect to purchased "financing gap protection" $1,100 Carnation (Moe Joosub) advised me that I was required to purchase "financing GAP protection" for the R350 as it was a condition of TD Auto Finance. Recognizing that I had a very poor credit rating I took Mr. Joosub at his word. After speaking with a friend who was in car sales about Gap protection I was advised that the requirements of TD Auto Finance as provided by Mr. Joosub were most likely false. Following that I contacted TD Auto Finance directly, I discussed this requirement and was advised that it was not a requirement of TD Auto Finance and that many dealerships were making this false claim. NOTE! When you call the warranty company, or gap financing company directly you get the reception desk of Carnation direct. Odd since the relationship was never disclosed More

Scammed The extended warranty they sell you is a joke I played $3000 for three years .I was told everything was covered but the body ,So I brought in for my The extended warranty they sell you is a joke I played $3000 for three years .I was told everything was covered but the body ,So I brought in for my three for one of my three free oil changes that I was given when I bought the car .I asked them to do an inspection as well,after an hour and a half I asked if my car was ready so the guy at the desk tells me only three of the four things they found was not covered so I would have to $700 I said I have the extended warranty he said sorry not covered What A SCAM . BEWARE More
