I did have a service appt booked for Jan 11/22 at 7:45 AM because check engine and tire pressure sensor lights for 3 tires were on last week and wanted peace of mind inspection done at same time. The check engine light went off after putting air in my tires and I told that to the guy standing at the door checking me in. He said there’s nothing they can do about that, which is fine but I said I also have peace of mind inspection booked and he said that’s recommended at 30,000 km and I should go to quicklube bay for oil change. Got fluids checked, oil change, new oil filter done. Today Jan 13/22 I got an email from Service saying during your recent visit “we made you aware of additional services that may be needed”. I wasn’t told anything about recommended work so I phoned service to inquire. The lady said due to my mileage (8500 km) a tire rotation is recommended. So now I have a second service appt. to get my tires rotated. If that guy had let me drop off my car on Tuesday I wouldn’t have to come back a second time in one week. More
